Effortless Contract Management with Powerful Template Generation using Conga CLM
What do you like best about the product?
Conga CLM helps us grealty in managing our contracts, starting from the document geration, review process till the approvals. This is great tool to manage all the contracts and interface is also UI friendly. However, the best thing about Conga CLM is the ease with which it helps in generating complex contracts. The X-Author for Contracts Add In helps in creating complex templates which then can be generated using Conga CLM without much manaul efforts. The implemention of Conga CLM is very simple and it easily integrates with Salesforce. The support provided by the Conga for this is also exceptional as the issue get resolved in a timely manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although the CLM's document generation capability is exceptional, at times it is observed that there is some performance degradation observed specifially for large and complex contracts. In some scenarios, it takes more than the expected time to generate the document which can be improved a bit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The complexity of our contracts is very high. We have lenghty contracts with multiple repeat sections, however, Conga CLM is just the perfect tool for this. Conga CLM helps us generate complex documents very easily and without much manual efforts which is very benefitting for our organization.

I appreciate that Conga CLM resolved the issue with legal users' inability to submit approvals in the QA environment, which has been effectively fixed. This resolution allowed me to proceed with important tasks, such as creating records and submitting them for approvals, without interruptions. The product's performance is satisfying as it works fine and smoothly for our needs. Moreover, the initial setup of Conga CLM was straightforward with no significant challenges encountered, making the process good and efficient overall.

I find Conga CLM resolved issues with function approvals, enabling us to submit approvals smoothly. It works fine without any challenges.

Overall, these are manageable challenges, but improving usability and documentation would make system maintenance smoother.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conga CLM has helped our organization centralize and standardize the entire contract lifecycle, which used to be spread across multiple tools and manual processes. It automates key stages like drafting, approval, and signature, reducing errors and saving a lot of time for both administrators and business users. From my perspective as a system administrator, it’s made managing user permissions, templates, and workflows much easier and more consistent. The integration with Salesforce keeps contract data synchronized, improving visibility across departments. Overall, Conga CLM has increased operational efficiency, reduced compliance risks, and given us better control over our contract data and reporting.

Conga CLM offers a range of highly useful features, and one of them is Doc Assembly Ruleset feature. This feature automatically selects the right clauses and attachments based on predefined rules. It makes document generation so much smoother and saves me from manually checking every detail. The flexibility to control what gets added through rulesets and dynamic sections is a big plus.

The initial setup of CLM is technical and little time-consuming. It took me a while to understand how CLM and X-Author settings work together. But Once I familier, it becomes much easier to use.

It has significantly reduced the time we spend generating contracts and proposals. The accuracy and consistency have improved a lot. Overall, it’s helped our team work faster, stay compliant, and deliver documents more efficiently.

At times, we feel that the support services can be rather expensive, especially when there is a need to enhance certain functionalities by introducing new, complex custom flows that integrate smoothly with the OOB CLM flow. Aside from this, it is an excellent tool that effectively addresses all of our contractual needs.

At times, bug fixes can take quite a while and often require several escalations before they are addressed.
