Extremely easy to use even for inbound rookies
What do you like best about the product?
What I found most relieving is that even an inbound rookie can work effectively with the software. The design is very intuitive and thus self explaining.
I've been in contact with the HubSpot support several times over the years and I must say that help always came promptly and my questions were resolved every time. They really do a great job, sending written instructions or videos to show you where to find the things you were looking for.
The third thing I think is extraordinary is that HubSpot always evolving. They announce updates regularly and try to make working with the software easier. They even have this site where one can enter a suggestion and the more HubSpot users vote for it, the more likely it gets they will implement it. I really love that they take their customers opinions into account.

What do you dislike about the product?
In some areas there are only limited ways to analize your data. So sometimes when you need a specific criteria, you'll have to go through some work arounds to get the info you need. This happens only rarely, but I had this in the forms tool a couple of days ago and when you're working at this task and it doesn't work, it sucks. Luckily there is an idea in the idea forum already that I can vote for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I haven't worked with another software, but the simplicity of the whole of HubSpot blew my mind when I first started. The fact that you can do everything from emails to landing pages to blogposts to social posts and analyse the whole, in one application is amazing. You have all the data you need in one place, which, for me, is a huge benefit.
Like working harder? Don't use HubSpot...
What do you like best about the product?
Just pick 1 feature, do I have to? I'll say this, I used to think that anything that made my life easier was valuable, but as soon as I started using HubSpot I found that when it made things more efficient I dug harder to tackle more complicated challenges and that has been priceless. Now, any tool I use gets immediately compared to the features in HubSpot, and 9 times out of 10 I can find a way to use the system to complete my needs (even if its not exactly the way the developers intended it to be used).
What do you dislike about the product?
I actually had to come back to this one...
If I had to pick SOMETHING it would be that even though I love it, its hard to get non-marketing/sales minded people on board with it. Because it is labeled a Marketing Automation Tool, IT people will generally overlook the benefits that it can provide. I wish that part of the system was beefed up, and that there were specific communications for IT folks to get some appreciation out of it.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The better question is what problems AREN'T I solving using HubSpot. If it is Sales, Marketing, Communications or Employee/Customer Experience related I push to use HubSpot at every turn. I love having a single place to turn to as my hub, my safe haven of collected knowledge, content and engagement.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it. Seriously, right now, go try it. Its worth the few minutes it takes to set it up and start being a smart marketer.
Best CMS for B2B lead generation sites.
What do you like best about the product?
I'm a web designer and I just love building on the platform. For the types of sites we build it's just the option out there. Everything you need to start generating and reporting on lead gen is in place from the start and if you want to further customize content types or add additional features to your site the updated version of their Design Manager is a pleasure. It's also a really great tool for us to use internally. I think my time supporting our internal marketing team for site maintenance is like 20% what it was when we were using WordPress. So yeah it's great for both our needs and for our customers needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's pretty expensive... But honestly if you're actively using it and making it a core part of your marketing and sales strategy its a great investment. Beyond that I just want them to make it a little easier to leverage smart content within custom developed modules ;) But this is a pretty small concern in the scheme of things. Aside from that I wish they offered more advanced training for developers building on their CMS but in general training for the product as a whole is really solid.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's giving my end users a clean easy to use interface to manage their websites. We're also setting things up with leveraging fluid areas in our templates where end users can simply drag and drop custom modules that we design to give users unprecedented flexibility within an enterprise-grade CMS.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The UI is just nicer to use... If you're going to be spending your days in a marketing automation platform you might as well do so in one that is enjoyable.
Hubspot makes my life easier!
What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot is a user friendly product -very easy to understand and navigate. They take regular feedback from their customers and actually implement it into their products on a regular basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like every software, sometimes there are bugs. I've mostly had issues with formatting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation! We went from a very old school way of marketing to an automated, inbound way of marketing which saves time and money. No more spreadsheets! I love their advanced reporting which is something we lacked.
Hands-Down the Best All-in-One Marketing Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use, and that everything is all in one place. You can literally manage all of your marketing efforts directly in HubSpot. It is the most cost effective, easiest to use, and provides the greatest return on investment from all other products I have seen on the market. I recommend HubSpot to clients, friends and family because I have seen it's value in my own business, and for all of my clients who use the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I only find one area where there could be some improvement, and that is the migration process. Bringing a new customer on board can sometimes just be a bit tedious. The job always gets done well, but the communication isn't as seamless as it is with leads and existing customers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the business problem of businesses not understanding how marketing and sales are so closely tied together. This brings life into marketing, making marketing a revenue generating department instead of just a spending department. The benefits are endless, but if I had to point out one, it's that we can show clients exactly how effective a campaign was, and back our efforts with analytics, which was difficult to do on the marketing side prior to utilizing a tool like HubSpot.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend dedicating enough time to utilize the tool. As with any software, you have to learn it and understand it in order for it to be powerful and effective. Utilize the training resources, a consultant to help you through the setup, and attend their ongoing webinars to stay up to date on HubSpot and the latest in inbound marketing.
A Dream Come True for Smaller Businesses
What do you like best about the product?
Most of our clients are smaller businesses who have not been using any type of marketing automation software other than a Constant Contact, Vertical Response, etc. We're cautious to only recommend it when it makes sense, which it frequently does based upon the value for the price. The number of features offered by HubSpot is impressive, even at the entry level subscription level, and weighting the cost based upon the number of contacts is helpful to those just getting started. The blog posting process, email composition and reporting, smart lists and smart CTAs are all great features, and they've been adding in some really exciting native AI functionality as well, making that tech accessible to an audience that may have little expertise in the field.
I've got to say that the #1 reason we love HubSpot though is their customer support. They are intelligent, knowledgeable, and take time needed to do whatever it takes to assist you with your problem. The ebooks they publish on various marketing topics are also a great resource that our clients value a great deal.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's difficult to keep up with the constant updates/upgrades, but in the end it's a positive since the addition of new features without adding more cost (in the majority of cases) is always a good thing. We speak with their customer service frequently, but they are rarely stumped and always keep digging to resolve the issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HubSpot helps us educate clients about optimization, content marketing/inbound marketing, and streamlines marketing activities by pulling everything together within one tool. Marketo and Pardot of course do the same, but the price point is normally prohibitive to our clients. Recent developments though are making HubSpot pull much farther ahead, and it's very easy to use.
Across the board, we've seen large increases in website traffic for our clients, but most importantly we've seen an uptick in engagement and ultimate conversion into clients. We haven't had a single client discontinue the product or our services based upon disliking the product or results.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure you keep up with the weekly trainings, and staying on top of the various blogs and linkedin groups is also very helpful. Always a frank discussion about real world questions, answers, and a good forum for requesting new features or fixing something that's not working as you would like. Things change rapidly, so if you like things to stay the same, it's not the product for you. You need to work at it, but remaining engaged with the discussions keeps you current on the latest developments in marketing in general, so it's a great education tool as well.
best tool for marketers who want to accelerate their growth
What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplicity of the platform and also how robust it is. They're constantly iterating and building for their customers and they truly listen to our feedback!
What do you dislike about the product?
The product is pretty pretty broad now so there's a lot you can do and sometimes it can be a little bit overwhelming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Setting up automated workflows for new users and tracking campaigns, especially things that were running outside of HubSpot. We can use tracking URL and aggregate all the info into a campaign with HubSpot.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Talk to other people who have used the software and download a free trial, play around with it and feel free to reach out to support with questions. The educational section on the website is also helpful and has a lot of FAQs.
Hubspot is an excellent marketing automation tool for nonprofit organizations.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to segment audiences and that we have been able to get rid of disparate systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that there's so much to learn and do that I can't do it all at once!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us conduct automated marketing, emails, and blogs with very few staff. It helps us track the most relevant content for our users.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend starting with one or two goals that you want to work toward. Then make lists of future steps you want to take in the system. If you try to do it all at once you will get overwhelmed.
We're all-in on HubSpot Software, even for WordPress Sites
What do you like best about the product?
I like the consistent interface and integration of all website management tools as well as the ability to deploy forms and more on external sites on other platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lacking multistage forms at this time. That's about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improving marketing effectiveness. Engaged in analytics and measurement, website deployment, content marketing, conversion optimization, and much much more for ourselves and our clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get it. It's worth it. We have had HubSpot Marketing Pro since 2011. And HubSpot Sales Pro since 2016.
Hubspot transformed my business
What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot helps businesses quickly realize the benefits of a fully integrated approach to inbound marketing. It's a pure pleasure to see the improved performance that businesses achieve, and it happens because the product is intuitive, extremely user friendly, and provides a wide range of feedback loops that constantly encourage customers to continue their progress. And I also love the attitudes of the HubSpot people; they make me wish I was 25 years old and in the position to seek my fortune with them in Cambridge.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a company that's leaning forward, they occasionally sell to customers who shouldn't be buying, and they still haven't completely figured out the best ways to support and encourage their partners (Value Added Resellers, VARs), which sometimes results in short-term confusion and frustration both with customers and VARs. But those are growing pains that are clearly expected, and seeing how they handle those pains reinforces what a quality organization and culture they are.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lead generation, attribution, marketing roi demonstration, lead funnel management
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My group became a partner the day I woke up in a cold sweat thinking how awful it would be if one of my competitors became a partner first. I wouldn't want to be competing directly against us, because HubSpot has made us formidable, where before HS we were invisible.
