Good idea, almost too many options

What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to track emails/opens/what other people in the company are doing
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it is very confusing; I am still getting used to it, as I have only been using for two months, but there is almost too much to have access to; it gets confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are managing our leads way better with Hubspot, and following up with customers easier/more efficiently. It is nice to be able to have pre-made templates, and it is uniform when we all send them the same. We also do not have to write the same thing over and over again, which saves a lot of time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely utilize the help! They are very good and available for you.

One-Stop Marketing Spot

What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot is a one stop platform for numerous marketing needs: blogging, email marketing, landing page management, social media posting, social listening and social analytics (and much, much more!). I've particularly loved having the ability to easily schedule and reschedule social media, isolate and view individual social media channels and make changes to posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Professional plan pricing which includes social media features is formidable for small business owners with 1-5 employees.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling social media using HubSpot's various views makes it easy to see and reschedule on the calendar view or look at specific channels. With email marketing, we're able to automate workflows to various lists. Using the same platform, we can also post, edit and publish our blog.

Intuitive and user friendly - Great user support as well

What do you like best about the product?
Anyone with a general knowledge of how Marketing Automation works/what it is supposed to do (emails, campaigns, workflows, lists, forms) or who has worked with other Marketing Automation platforms can easily jump into HubSpot and hit the ground running. The organization and layout of the platform is logical, intuitive, and incredibly user friendly—it's easy to find and build anything you need. We have HubSpot consulting with our subscription, and our rep has been amazing. She's incredibly responsive and knowledgeable
What do you dislike about the product?
We have noticed some issues or missing capabilities when it comes to its integration with Salesforce. Our Sales team and Execs want to work solely out of Salesforce and getting HubSpot info reflected in Salesforce (ex: email metrics/who has opened or clicked) hasn't been easy.
We also want to be able to tell how someone comes into contact with our forms each time (Organic, Paid, Direct, etc)—not just the very first time. With a longer sales cycle, sometimes someone will go cold for a year, then reengage, but unless it's via paid (which can be tagged via form), we don't know if they came in via Organic search, email, referral, etc. This makes Marketing attribution difficult (well, more so than it already is!).
There have been some issues with deliverability (likely because of the industries we work with) and opting people back in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our email marketing capabilities have increased. HubSpot also tends to have a higher IP address reputation (so more emails are being delivered as opposed to getting flagged as SPAM). As noted above, we have had issues with deliverability but at this point, I think that's indicative of most automated email (IT teams are becoming more strict with what they allow through).
We're still building the groundwork of our Marketing Analytics and attribution but we have at least started to see where our email and ad efforts are paying off.

HubSpot Makes Life Easier.

What do you like best about the product?
The complete integration of sales, marketing, service, external tools (analytics, tag manager, WordPress, pixels, ad platforms) makes running our sales and marketing so much easier and dynamic. We understand the totality of the marketing and sales efforts and how connected we are (or are not) with our clients and prospects. Additionally, the use of workflows and sequences save thousands of hours. The more creative you get with how to use your content, the more you can develop your automation, the more time you have to continue to grow your business. It's pretty great.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the sales tool, you can add products, but I can not utilize those products as properties, within workflows, deals, etc. This would be HUGE to help us better automate, manage, and develop persona specific product workflows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time-saving. Long-term, methodical but automated follow up that lands more deals. Integration of all systems through the tool to connect-the-dots and see the board better.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I really appreciate how everything works together and you can see in a snapshot the full scope of the progress with a client/prospect.

What do you like best about the product?
Having an all-in-one tool is the best, say goodbye to headaches from using different platforms and generating reports for each one of them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see more certifications, although the ones available are not bad at all, the fact that a pro account is needed for a couple of them makes it difficult for beginners to acquire complete knowledge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having every aspect of a campaign measurable and controllable within a tool has been the greatest benefit. The analytics tools are unique and the easy integration has helped to integrate technologies that were necessary in some projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely a tool that is constantly maintained and updated, it is a tool that should be on your radar of needs for agencies or marketing plans.

User Friendly Platform with Wide Range of Capabilities

What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot is easy to navigate. The in-depth customer data is incredible - website activity, email opens, social media activity. The support is great and our account manager is very attentive. The tech support is equally as helpful with technical questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I primarily use Hubspot for marketing emails, and Hubspot does not focus on being a full-fledge email platform, so it's laking some basic functionality like certain A/B testing, ability to send emails at the individual customer's optimal time, and detailed reporting on best send days/times/subject lines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Through email, we are communicating events with contacts, building brand awareness, nurturing new contacts, keeping our company top of mind, and bringing back lost contacts.

What do you like best about the product?
I primarily use HubSpot for its social media scheduling capabilities. I love that I am able to select multiple social channels at one time to schedule out the same post. This comes in handy with trade shows and other big promotional items!
What do you dislike about the product?
Again, I primarily use HubSpot for its social media scheduling capabilities. A strong dislike I have is that I am not notified when my social posts fail. There may be a setting to change this - but I have yet to find it! If not, I would love one to be created.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HubSpot has made my social scheduling process 100x easier for the clients that use it. It's nice to have everything in one spot.

Best platform for managing social media!

What do you like best about the product?
I love using Hubspot to scheduled my companies social media content. They may it so easy to share to multiple platforms at once. It's a huge timesaver and maximizes my time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing I dislike about Hubspot is that limits the size of images that can be posted on Instagram. I also wish there was some way to track link clicks from Instagram Stories in the Hubspot Reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a universal platform for our entire team. We all work on different areas in the platform, but have consistency with the software. It is also a great source to easily track analytics.

Great CRM for B2B sales and pipeline management

What do you like best about the product?
I really like HubSpot because it's very easy to use and has multiple relevant integration with other softwares, such as Gmail, Google Drive and Google Calendar. HubSpot is perfect for small and medium businesses, as it's flexible and robust at the same time. It allows you to customize your sales funnel and program automatic reminders, tasks and follow-ups. This is the best CRM I've used so far. Also, HubSpot integration with Gmail automatically log events into the company/deal profile, facilitating the lead management. Finally, their free trial is very complete and helpful to understand how it works.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting tool is a bit limited, as it doesn't allow you to customize charts and reports so much. Even though they collect a lot of data, it could be processed in a more robust and efficient way to help sales people to understand their performance better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HubSpot allows me to manage my sales and partnerships pipeline hastily, reminding me to follow-up with clients and keep track of the upcoming events. By doing that, I can perform better my daily tasks to reach my sales objectives.

Not the turnkey marketing solution that was promised.

What do you like best about the product?
The integration with Shopify works well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The email marketing, workflow set up, campaign management (essentially all marketing features) are not as easy as they what they sell to you. In order to really make the reporting work, you need to host everything with Hubspot (landing pages and blog). We have given it over 1.5 years with Hubspot and have had to hire one of their consultants (spending an additional $1500 to have them assist us with best practices). The limitations of the email templates and design feature are not user friendly and we have hired outside developers to create emails for us so that our emails look less generic. I honestly feel as if you need to have a dedicated Hubspot expert at your company just to make their services work. For a family business, that is really frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has delayed our launch of email marketing, it has cost us extra money. It is not a turnkey solution for eComm businesses.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I feel Hubspot makes sense for B2B or if your company sells services, I do not feel it is a good solution for eCommerce companies focusing on B2C.
