HubSpot Marketing
What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot marketing has been such a great help to our company. We have recently transitioned our website to HubSpot. We are able to run campaigns through hubspot marketing. We've really enjoyed watching our interaction with potential customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have struggled with getting our employees on board of using hubspot marketing. Between new changes and remembering the training they struggle with taking advantage of the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving our marketing issues. We are able to have one platform for all our marketing needs. We have our website, chat, campaigns, contacts, and emails all in one local. That has been incredibly helpful with keeping our team on the same page.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Watch the videos and go though a demo beforehand. If you are tech savvy, HubSpot Marketing Hub should not be a problem for you and your team.
One stop shop for marketers
What do you like best about the product?
I love the integrations (more are added all the time) that make the robust platform work even better for my clients. With a core understanding of how sales and marketing can work together, HubSpot creates a one-stop shop for all of your inbound marketing needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm in HubSpot everyday doing something and never tire of what it can provide for my clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lead generation through landing pages, forms, lead nurture workflows as well as social media scheduling and social listening.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It isn't just a platform, but a specific way of thinking when it comes to your marketing. Their consistent blogs and HubSpot Academy courses also provide an easy way to educate and maintain the knowledge of HubSpot users.
Great tool for Inbound Marketing
What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot is a super complete tool for implementing Inbound Marketing in start-ups, scale-ups, and fast-path environments, as it contains all the main functionalities to put your inbound program to work quickly and efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
The connection with social media is still weak and could be improved, so the Inbound strategy links better with the activity in Linkedin, Twitter, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm managing all the content strategy, lead acquisition, lead nurturing, etc. The main benefit is the flexibility and agility, that allows putting programs quickly to work and test.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Integrate the Marketing side with the Sales one, and do the training, despite you already have experience in the Inbound strategies, because you will find good tips.
great tool - make my work so much easier
What do you like best about the product?
i'm using the sales module and i just enjoy the templates and the customer's management abilities and tracking. the added insights about the leads with the clearbit integration, the direct link to the company's website. it's a great tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
i really have nothing bad to say about hubspot. just recommended them yesterday.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me understand the entire picture of my marketing activities. How many prospects i gained in the pipeline, what are their stages, what is my most successful channel, marketing optimizations i should take, it helps me with sequences and scoring, and hand them off to our sales team. we work closely with the sales team based on Hubspot signals. this is an incredible tool
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think this whole review build my recommendation. easy, smart, saves time, do the work, adds intelligence.
Easy to use, all in one
What do you like best about the product?
It has many features in 1 platform- email, web forms, contact management, web and social media stats, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Company contacts will pull in contacts based on email, many of which we don't want to track
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing emails and web forms to manage our contacts and capture leades
Recommendations to others considering the product:
HubSpot is easy to learn and integrate, and their support team is awesome.
Marketing Tools Made Easy, Yet Somehow Incredibly Robust
What do you like best about the product?
As someone who has been in the Inbound/Demand Gen field for over 8 years and Content Marketing/SEO for going on 17, I can confidently say that HubSpot makes my job so much easier. From automation and attribution to content creation and SEO strategy, HubSpot has a very holistic approach to its marketing platform. I've been able to create highly specialized email campaigns and complex workflows and get detailed analytics from every aspect of my campaign. Yet somehow nothing ever seems to be that difficult thanks to an intuitive UI and an absolutely brilliant support staff. HubSpot is great for novices and experts alike and I recommend it to just about anyone!
What do you dislike about the product?
You may need additional expertise depending on the other platforms you're integrating with. The paid social features are also a little limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HubSpot's workflows are brilliant and let me run a variety of automation outside of just email campaigns (which by themselves are great). I'm able to automate a full-funnel experience, notify the sales team and their leaders of new MQLs, and change field settings, along with sending different emails depending on different lead behavior. Workflows give you the ability to scale operations.
Easy to use but the app is terrible.
What do you like best about the product?
The integration with Zoominfo, Rightbound, influ2, etc and the tracking system of revisiting our site to help us know what leads either need to have increased follow-up, converted to sales, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Usability. Many functions that I would like to see for automation and analytics/filters aren't available. Templates can be hard to find since the search never seems to work. The app is impossible to use- you can't read any forms submitted or see the details- you have to be on your laptop to view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Targeted email marketing and subsequent follow-up plus analytics of conversion of leads. Better understanding of where our leads come from and where we can continue to improve in our campaigns and other outreach.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is an okay CRM- analytics and filters can be difficult to use but overall works well for our marketing and sales.
Lots of features, but expensive
What do you like best about the product?
Automation / Workflows
Close Integration with other Hubspot products
Considered the industry standard for web marketing
Excellent for digital marketing professionals
Centralises multiple diverse functionalities

Warning -- Automated Renewal - You have to be very cautions of this. They will force you to renew at 10s of 1000s of dollars unless you cancel the auto-renewal in advance. You cannot get out of it, you are bound to the terms legally. The first year's discounted rate will no longer apply and your cost can become twice as much.
Very expensive once you cross certain thresholds for number of emails, etc
Less expensive options are available from other vendors

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it primarily as a CRM system that allows automatic lead capture and internal notification. The web-based automation of CRM workflow has been the most beneficial part of using Hubspot.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider some of the alternative options for email marketing, CRM, etc before making a long term investment.
Recent Updates Have Been Rough
What do you like best about the product?
It wasn't until after we switched to HubSpot that we realized how much we were missing out on with our digital marketing. We love the ease of use with the email and landing page designer as well as the tracking available through the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
We wish there was a better way to link contacts and companies to have field information flow from one to the other. When you have a lot of generic email addresses (@gmail, @outlook, etc.) this feature doesn't really work. There have also been a lot of security updates made recently that caused us to move away from HubSpot in some aspects of our marketing efforts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improving our marketing automation processes with targeted CTAs and landing pages.
Newer HubSpot user-but love it so far
What do you like best about the product?
As a former salesforce.com user, I was a bit nervous that I was but would not be as robust in terms of features and functionality. However, I love the dashboard, the list features, the email marketing capabilities, the social media integration is, and simply the way is organized by sales and marketing functionality. As a marketing manager for a software company based in New York City, HubSpot has allowed me to send targeted emails to our prospect and current customer lists, perform a B testing on a variety of email campaigns, and track the success rate of our email marketing campaigns. You can also easily manage different email templates, CTA buttons, and marketing assets (ie. PDF’s, logos, corporate imagery, etc.) for use in email campaigns and/or landing pages. You can also easily create forms (for use in landing / website pages) to capture prospect or customer information and easily store it within a system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Right now I wish they were better marketing dashboards to take advantage of, since the sales dashboard’s are super robust and informative.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We currently use HubSpot to manage all of our customer information, track email marketing campaign, and manage our sales pipeline. It provide us with a one stop shop for all things customer related- Providing us with insights into how and when we’ve engaged with customers, what activities they decided to participate in, and where in the sales cycle they are.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
HubSpot isn’t easy to use CRM platform that provide you with everything you need to track marketing activities manage customer and prospect list, create targeted marketing campaigns via manual effort or automated workflows, and easily manage the results of your sales and marketing efforts. The platform is a bit pricey, and may not be as robust as a salesforce.com, but I prefer HubSpot because it provides me with tools I need to do my job well without being overwhelmed with unnecessary / extra features and functionality.
