Headless CMS with great value for affordable price
What do you like best about the product?
Great preview feature that makes a difference comparing to other CMS platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Minor bugs. I can live with them as they not break the overall experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When we were looking for a headless CMS solutions, there was nothing to compare with Storyblok reagarding flexibility, ease of use and the amazing preview feature that makes the introduction of new content much easier.
Nice adaptable CMS
What do you like best about the product?
It is really easy to integrate with different JavaScript frameworks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to import the types from the CMS for TypeScript.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to manage, in a really easy way, the whole site content for both developers and writers.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how everything is in blocks so you can easily use templates to keep the website fresh. I also like how the developers know when something isn't working. They set up alerts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The previews never work and I can only reorder stories on my phone. I can't do it on the desktop. Sometimes it takes a long time to load changes but normally it's fine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We did it to improve seo and make the user experience better. It's new but it seems like it's better than the messy website I created in the past.
Storyblok provided an intuitive approach to the world of content management
What do you like best about the product?
Among Storyblok's best features are its visual editor, spaces, stories, folder organization system, and workflow setup. It also has active customer support and a large developer community. The documentation is also very well written to cater to developer and non-developer needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is the unavailability of mutate/write access on its GraphQL API and a slightly steep learning curve in understanding the platform and configuring things like SSL for live preview and other integration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storyblok provides a central hub to manage my content, allowing me to define roles that provide certain levels of access to content and also define a creation-to-publishing workflow. It also simplifies the task of content management with its component blocks, and visual editor.
Very convenient and featurefull but has a couple bugs

The flexibility of creating stories with translations and references to other bloks or stories

Bugs that show up in v2 and rate/concurrency limits

Giving the ability to other teams of our product to customize the look and feel of it as well as handle the translations

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to understand and smooth. Barerly needed an introduction.

Nothing really. Every feature i need is there and the integration was easy.

Easy and smooth updates of our webpage. Easy to maintain a good design.
Clean, intuitive, and easy-to-use CMS
What do you like best about the product?
Storyblok is a fantastic CMS for Marketing and Content teams. The user interface is clean, very easy to use, and very intuitive. As a Product Designer myself, this is something I particularly appreciate. At the studio, we are big fans of the visual editor as it allows you to see the changes you’re doing in real time. This makes it very easy to build a page, adjust content, visuals, and components to get the exact results you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you want to build something new on a page that hasn’t been developed (like a new block), you will need additional development support from a frontend developer. On the other hand, this means you are not restricted by any grid or pre-build layout, as you would find in other “web-builder” tool. You can go very custom when designing and developing something.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storyblok provides a simple solution for our clients, usually non-technical users, such as content writers or digital marketing manager, who needs to build and maintain web pages. Again, the visual editor makes it effortless for them to review the page and see what it would look like exactly when published live.
A very powerful headless CMS that enhances our client's digital products.
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the concept of stories that enables us to bundle domain specific content as a story/unit and just load this data when needed. Moreover, the ability to resolve related Stories helped us a lot by making certain parts of a Story easily replaceable by another Story whenever the client needed to switch to different content triggered by some real world event.
Besides the very nice API, we make use of page previews a lot. Therefore, we use the corresponding JS SDK which works really good and empowers content editors a lot.
The pipeline feature was really helpful to integrate Storyblok with our quality gates.

What do you dislike about the product?
I would really love to see some auto translation feature. That would have helped us a lot.
One point that annoyed us on our application side was nestables could only be added in a list of blocks. However, we often faced scenarios where we wanted it to be a single block to in order to get rid of unpacking the singles element out of the array.
Story Previews are very challenging in case of SPAs where multi-step processes need to be put into a single story. We worked around this by structuring the content into stories and resolved them in the parent when loading.
This worked well, however we also face the limitation that the level of nestedness is 2 due to some technical limitations of Storyblok.

Storyblok enables us to make business people translate and kind of shape the content of business processes we put into code for them. Moreover, this content is translated into 16 languages as well.
This empowers non-tech people to alter business processes without developers having to touch the code in any case.

Robust CMS with Visual Editing, Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Storyblok's robust CMS capabilities that allow for visual-led content editing for websites without the need for extensive coding. I love its freedom in defining content blocks and the visual style of structuring content, which suits both my personal and work-related website projects efficiently. Furthermore, the simplicity of Storyblok's initial setup greatly impressed me, making it a straightforward process to get started.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that Storyblok could improve by incorporating insights from Sanity regarding schema-based workflows. Additionally, I find the visual interface of Payload and Sanity CMS to be cleaner and more robust in comparison to Storyblok.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Storyblok as a robust CMS providing visual-led content editing for websites without much coding. It enables freedom in defining content blocks and structuring content visually, solving the challenges of complex query setups and live editing nightmares experienced with previous platforms.
Fast and efficient CMS
What do you like best about the product?
Content easy to find into folders, great search bar performances.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not intuitive folder organization logic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being indipendent with the content updates. Being faster for creating unique content. I am more productive.
