Sometimes, the access to the camera feed is slow.

I don't need to have any additional equipment except for the cameras and sensors. This is a game changer.
We are fully invested in the Verkada ecosystem because of its reliability and simplicity.
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of installation.
Our previous systems required complex network isolation, static IPs, on-prem managed servers and device firmware update schedules.
With Verkada I simply plug the devices into a flat POE switch and call it a day.

What do you dislike about the product?
I've had a few pieces of equipment arrive unresponsive, but support is always quick to send out replacement hardware after a quick online chat session. The process is simple and the 10-year warranty is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Verkada allowed me to unify the patchwork of various security products across our 29 nation-wide offices.
We started with cameras, but have since deployed temperature sensors, access control and panic button systems.
Having all of our remote offices in one single environment has given us never before see insight and management of our security and engineering operations.

What do you like best about the product?
veranda is the best system to date with the easiest use. its a 1 login for all 5 different systems. we can add and remove people from the system in 2 clicks

there is really nothing to talk about verkada it all works 100%

Verkada Cameras, Access Control and Alarms
What do you like best about the product?
Verkada has been a great success story for us. We began using Verkada in 2018 soon after they began offering the cameras publically. We have expanded to the use of access control and security systems. Verkada has been innovative in what they have released and has been responsive to suggestions we have made.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not found any downsides. The systems are well thought out and contain great features. The few issues we have had have been resolved quickly by Verkada.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We began using Verkada for cloud-managed cameras. We have since expanded to physical access control and security alarms. Cloud management of all of these systems has allowed us to free up administrators for other tasks. The systems have also provided better experiences for end users who need to access the systems.
Super easy and intuitive software.

The software is very easy to use. The app makes access quick and simple.

Device registration was a bit challenging.

We have 24/7 visibility around our facility.
Amazing Camera's
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the ease of use of this product and the fact that I can set up a camera in less than 10 minutes is bar none to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue I have is the product licensing for the camera as this is a recurring cost versus a traditional system.

The Verkada system resolved our ongoing issue of camera dropouts/ poor quality that we received from our other service.

What do you like best about the product?
The people, hardware and technology are best in the market. Total wow factory when considering a partner in this space.

Can't think of anything, so far we rolled out to all stores in Canada with no downsides.

Verkada is providing a solution that allows for quick and secure information gathering that allows the business to react quickly with limited risk.
Fantastic, Easy-to-Deploy Solutions
What do you like best about the product?
We started with Verkada security cameras and have since expanded to the Guest check-in system, Environmental sensor, and are strongly considering the door access system for future expansion. More than anything, Verkada just works. Everything comes in fantastic packaging with everything you need. Scan the QR code, connect to the internet, and you're done. The web portal is amazing and makes sharing camera access with staff super simple. We can even send a link to people that need temporary access like police/security we have onsite for special events. The leap from our previous on-premises camera solution is enormous, and we could not be happier. It is not the cheapest product on the market, but it is well worth the investment.
What do you dislike about the product?
The simplicity can lead to limited customization options for some things. Most recently, we started using the Guest system. The name tags layout is set by Verkada with no other options. It makes things easy, but there are some things we would enjoy slightly more control over. That being said, another great positive of Verkada is the ongoing support. We can submit feature requests, and all the products are continuously receiving substantial updates that continue to increase the value of our investment in the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cloud camera access was one of our biggest requirements, and finding a system that is built around that has been wonderful. We were also ready to make the transition away from Hikvision, particularly with the potential for further governmental restrictions around that brand. Verkada is an amazing tech company with fantastic US-based support, and has solved problems we did not realize we had after so many years of using traditional solutions.

Getting them installed is an ongoing nightmare. We purchased them over a month ago and are still waiting on the installation

Not solving any problems since they're still in their boxes waiting on an installation crew for over a month

Make sure you have your installation dates locked in concrete and part of the sales contract
