ER tool - Scanning PAN tool
What do you like best about the product?
What's great about the Enterprise Recon is the speed and comprehensive data overview.
One of the biggest advantages of Enterprise Recon is how it pulls together data from all over the place into one central location. This tool does an excellent job of offering a full view of what’s going on. It’s made decision-making so much faster because everything’s right there, and it has really helped streamline our processes and improve our data handling.

What do you dislike about the product?
Limited Integrations - my personal views and experience with this tool don't integrate as seamlessly with some of the third-party tools we use. While it works great within its own ecosystem, connecting it to other platforms isn't always as smooth as I'd like it to be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As PCI compliance, clear PAN must not be stored and this tool maintains our PCI security compliance.

I can confidently say that I have not encountered any dislikes or negative experiences while using Enterprise Recon.

Enterprise recon is assisting us with our PCI Compliance and PII managementEnterprise Recon has been a great help in managing our PCI compliance and PII. It makes protecting payment information and personal data much easier, ensuring we stay secure and meet all necessary regulations.
Probably the most effective sensitive data discovery tool
What do you like best about the product?
Enterprise Recon is the go-to solution for discovery of sensitive data at rest. It is very effective at detecting stored cardholder data, PII data or other sensitive data.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are sometimes struggles with scans that fail or take too long to complete. There is not much diagnostic informaton available unless the scan is started again with diagnostics turned on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Generally iuse by our clients for PCI DSS and PII compliance purposes.
Easy to use PCI investigatory tool.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, simple to maintain. Support is fantastic, the team greatly assisted me in picking up the software for a refreshed integration and implementation for our environment. Overall solid PCI scanning product that is unmatched in the field.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some scripting work required to organise objects categorically. At the point in time I was introduced to the software I was quite green, luckily the support team assisted me greatly during the process.

Our primary use case was identifying and managing personally identifiable information across a diverse set of structured and unstructured data sources. Enterprise Recon consistently delivered high accuracy with notably low false positive rates

In my experience, the upfront setup and policy tuning is very important and organisations should focus on getting this right as it will save you heaps of time and effort later on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The product's ability to align with multiple regulatory frameworks (GDPR, PCI DSS, HIPAA, PDPA etc.) was a huge advantage, allowing us to confidently demonstrate compliance during audits and internal reviews.

Useful Tool for your PCI Compliancy requirements.
What do you like best about the product?
We have been using Entreprise Recon for over 7 years within our entire PCI enviroment. It is not device or OS specific, which makes it a great tool to use. When it finds as suspect data, you can easily take the steps to remidated it.
Can set up filters to reduce the amount of false positive data you receive.

Do have confirm the data found is infact CHD data and not some random 16 digit figure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Setting up recurring schedules and receiving notifications of results ensures continuous monitoring and prompt awareness of any potential issues, allowing for proactive remediation.

Identify where sensitive data is - and is not present, along with the volume of data records present
A dependable, no-nonsense tool for PCI compliance peace of mind
What do you like best about the product?
Enterprise Recon was a cornerstone of our PCI compliance toolkit. Its coverage was outstanding—we deployed it across desktops, servers (on-prem and cloud), and cloud storage with minimal overhead. The combination of a SaaS platform and lightweight agents gave us comprehensive visibility into unstructured data environments without constant intervention. Once deployed, it genuinely earned the label of a “fire-and-forget” solution: reliable, stable, and quietly doing its job in the background until it surfaced something we needed to act on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Developers weren’t always thrilled to see it flag data on their machines—usually test artifacts they forgot to clean up. In fact, when Enterprise Recon raised an alert, it had the same gravity as the bat phone ringing: we knew it was real, and we knew we had to act.

What do you like best about the product?
In side by side testing in our environment we compare Groundlabs to competitor products. It found more of the critical data and the remediation options are second to none. The post sales support was excellent and deployment in our environment was seemless.
What do you dislike about the product?
You do need to put the effort in to remove the false positives, but it is worth the journey for the peace of mind.
