What do you like best about the product?
eRecon is an effective data searching and detection solution which could be used to make infra compliant as per the various standards like PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR etc.. Useful in scanning sensitive of user or organization data across desktops, servers, database and on cloud storage as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is not possible to find out sensitive information like Credit or Debit Card information inside txt and doc files in a particular folder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Compliance check for Payment card Industry against the PCI DSS Standard as it is not allowed to store any of the Cardholder data in the system. Fulfill the audit and compliance requirements.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a must-have Discovery tool, especially for the Payment card industry, as no one will deliberately store the Payment card (Credit or Debit Card) data of their customer. One can cross-check the same using eRecon. Also useful for discovery or scanning of PII (Personally Identifiable Information) in any organization.
