Outstanding application helped me to save my time and efforts.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the most about the feature that automatically suggest the translated words or phrases before. Also, how the application automatically copying the source template (such as figures, tables, graphics, etc.).
What do you dislike about the product?
It's best for Microsoft device to access. I found it difficult to operate in my Macbook. I think, it is better for the application giving the free trial subscription for Macbook users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I deal with many translation works. This application helped so much to save my energy and time with its automatic feature suggestion words and graphic automation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think you better know your needs so you only learn the feature that you need the most.

Practical and effective CAT tool
What do you like best about the product?
The software is widely used by translation agencies and it's well known between professional translators and this is making it easy work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is a too expensive software for self employed or freelance translator to purchase
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Translation memory could be transferred smoothly between translation agencies and translators and the same could be done between translators themselves. The interface is easy to understand and many useful features are included to help translators doing a good job.
Great choice for fast-paced industries
What do you like best about the product?
It quickly produces translations with high readability. The UI is also easy to navigate. Intergration with SDL trados enables intuitive experience and ease of use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't use this solution for clients who are concerned about privacy and confidentiality. The price is also something that needs consideration. There should be more options for independent users who can't afford much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use SDL Machine Translation to translate technical documents that focus on key information rather than linguistic aesthetics. I also use its results as an inspiration for manual translation.

SDL Machine Translation is my go-to choice when it comes to translation for technical input.

SDL is one customizable tool one can use for all Localization and Translation tasks. It not just saves time but works efficiently in consolidating multiple documents.

Not everyone can afford the paid version.

Huge volume tasks with repetitive phrases can easily be managed on SDL

Sometimes I'm stuck in translation of terms to my target language, and SDL Machine Translation has helped me through it

Powerful tool but not user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
To me, the most valuable thing SDL has is that it is a powerful tool on which you can rely, no doubt. It is going to get the job done efficiently and professionally.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found it to be highly confusing when it comes to options. Too many options and menus are organized in a very old design that is not user-friendly. I would like to see an improvement in its design.

It makes the translation process faster, more effective and prevents a high number of mistakes. The primary benefit is that the translation results in a professional and well-organized document. Also, it is a time-saver.

My advice is that, before using it, make sure you read all the introductory documents. This will let you know exactly what tools you're going to be using while working with SDL and avoid those options that are not important for your project. It makes it easier to use. Also, do not forget to watch all the videos available for training.
