Excellent service and product delivery
What do you like best about the product?
We adopted Twingate to replace our current VPN. As a web design agency, we have multiple servers with multiple providers and utilise Saas software. Twingate was rolled out in less than 24hrs and has worked seamlessly moving forward. Access to our servers and software is locked down on specific ports with centralised control. One area where we were initially doubtful about the operation was the cross platform connector - as it transpired, it works perfectly across Windows, Mac and Linux and cannot be faulted. All in all, an excellent security product at a good price point, we would highly recommend it to any other company looking to replace their VPN.
What do you dislike about the product?
From our current experience, there are no negatives.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Replacement of VPN with a centralised, highly secure system for all staff members, both on-site and remote.
Finally a VPN that just works

What do you dislike about the product?
No major concerns, but user interface is limited. I'd suggest this be built out for a more straightforward user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Historically, the corporate VPNs I've used have been extremely slow and unreliable. This would lead to frequent calls to the tech support team when I just wanted to get my work done. Since my company switched to Twingate, all my previous VPN issues have been resolved. I can't even remember the last time I called the tech support team. A sincere thank you for building such a high quality product from me (and the IT department.)
It just works!
What do you like best about the product?
We rolled out Twingate to replace our old Corporate VPN and there is no going back. As a user on the finance team, Twingate allows me to connect to all of my needed applications, and was super easy to set-up and use. There's no logging in and out, figuring out if you're connected or not... you log-in once and it just works! Best of all, it's faster than our previous solution allowing me to get my work done from anywhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of any dislikes right now. Since we rolled it out, I've never had any issues with the product or with connecting to the service to access my needed applications
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting to all of our needed applications from anywhere in the world
Up and coming major player into the Zero Trust VPN space
What do you like best about the product?
Pango is in the security space. We are always on the lookout for innovative ways to improve our security posture. The zero trust product by Twingate fits that bill perfectly. It allows us to setup specific, individualized access control for every employee in our organization for all products and services. It was very easy to setup and configure. It literally took us one day to get everyone in the organization on Twingate. Because it is in the cloud, it is always on and we will never have to worry about our employees worldwide being down due to the office network/infrastructure being down. This is especially important nowadays in light of the environment created by Covid-19. We have left the past (VPN) behind us, and will be continuing to be a long time customer of Twingate.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still improvements that need be done in the software such as audit logs, granular access control, and inspection capabilities, but the team has been very responsive and working to make the software more enterprise ready. I am looking forward to all the new features in the pipeline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our biggest problems are deployment of VPN to our users and better security on an employee by employee basis. Twingate's UI was easy to use and setup. It took us less than a minute per user. Also, employees' adoption to Twingate was a very smooth ride.

I'd like to see a more detailed dashboard
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secure access for remote and inhouse employees and contractors
It isn't often that a new architecture comes along that makes as much sense as Twingate
What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity of the policy model is the strength. Simply define the provider and consumer and you are done. Also the architecture of having a controller distributing the dataplane to relays is clearly an advantage. The zero trust model of restricting uses to certain resources via a dynamic ACL is also a clear advantage vs a traditional VPN.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would be could to build some cloud formation templates for quick and easy deployment on AWS. Or maybe Terraform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Right now I am experimenting with remote access to my home network. Resources are NAS, home security, and some lab servers.
So much easier to manage than a VPN
What do you like best about the product?
Twingate has saved me a lot of time. It was so much quicker to roll out than our VPN. Adding new assets and assigning permissions to users is super easy, and I don’t have to worry about re-architecting our network to do that. It makes setting up access simpler, and I also don’t need to spend time maintaining VPN servers and keeping them updated and patched. Doing less admin work and becoming more secure is a pretty good outcome!
What do you dislike about the product?
No major dislikes. The audit logging functionality is useful and has a lot of potential, but it’s still in an early stage of development
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manage access to our IT assets in a more efficient way (without sacrificing security) so I can free up more time for other projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Yes definitely
Zero trust framework companies can actually implement
What do you like best about the product?
As an IT team, we need to be able to satisfy the ease of use requirement, even for remote access security solutions. Through their lightweight client, Twingate has accomplished delivering on a seamless user experience without the traditional headaches involved with legacy VPN solutions. Their one-click connection to the network is easy yet provides secure, encrypted access to our most valuable corporate resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’d like to see more full tunnel capabilities but the Twingate team is working on this as we speak. Their split tunnel architecture ensures top notch performance (even when connecting to a video call) and so their focus on performance while delivering full tunnel capabilities will be great to experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deployment of security tools is difficult for IT teams to manage, but Twingate’s focus on easy end user adoption has made securing corporate resources an easy change management exercise. We can sleep easy at night knowing that we’ve adopted a least-privileged access model without the headache of end user complaints
Seamless user experience
What do you like best about the product?
Twingate is fast, simple, easy to use and always runs in the background without me noticing. It is so much better than the previous VPN my company made me use. The user experience is truly seamless.
I also like the fact that it’s really easy to connect and doesn’t really slow anything down. Previous VPNs I’ve used always slow things down and I would always disconnect frequently. With Twingate I can keep it always on and it’s fast and doesn’t require me to constantly connect and disconnect.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really because Twingate gives me access to the applications I need access to. One thing is that I’m curious if they will be releasing more features. It seems to solve the secure access use case really well but I’d like to see more product features over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Twingate gives me access to applications like Tableau while I am working remotely. It’s an awesome tool for remote work because it integrates with Okta and it works seamlessly. From a benefits standpoint I think the most tangible benefit is speed as it saves me time to get access to applications like Tableau and now that everyone is working from home, time is precious and I am grateful for Twingate.
Finally good and easy to use VPN solution
What do you like best about the product?
Absolutely loving them for Google Login and super simple client. For small companies when you don't have SSO, and don't want to manage separate vpn users, its a must have.
Also it was super easy to deploy and start using them
They also have good api, so you can manage resources with automation

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes in mind so far. We started with them pretty early, documentation on that time wasn't as polished as it is now, but Twingate team was very helpful, so everything went smoothly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Access to private AWS infrastructure (including private EKS) for a small development team from different countries.
