Effortless Project Management with Kanban Excellence
What do you like best about the product?
I like Planview ProjectPlace for its ease of use and the kanban board functionality.

I use Planview ProjectPlace for project planning and execution management. It solves the problem of end-to-end delivery of projects.

Effective WBS and Task Management That Helps Our Team Grow
What do you like best about the product?
It allows us to manage our work breakdown structure effectively through its task management features and the Plan tab, which helps us improve and grow as a team. It helps us coach teams that may be less mature, specifically regarding potential backlog refinement and prioritization.
What do you dislike about the product?
The documents tab within cards does not integrate well with SharePoint, so if you attach a document and edit it, it does not sync with the online document and creates a local file version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to get better at planning effectively, specifically in projects, which is a major issue for us and not standardized currently.

Easy onboarding and scalability for users. Familiar interface. Comfortable for users regardless of in-depth technological or methology familiarity

Currently the tool doesn't seem to receive the same attention or prioritization in development or enhancement

Allowing external M&A users come in and collaborate with teams ahead of account creation. Wide range of user groups can exist in one tool with many processes
Highly Usable, Comprehensive Capabilities with Seamless Planview Integration
What do you like best about the product?
The usability and comprehensive capabilities that allow users to rely on this product itself or seamlessly integrate it with other Planview products.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t has many downsides, but a random pain point I often have is wising cards could be assigned to activities at the highest level rather than to its sub activities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visualizing progress that has been imperative to increasing our productivity and not having random reporting requests get lost in emails or conversations and instead actually come to life and track the progress of.
All-in-One Project Management, but the Plan Screen Needs to Be More User-Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
ProjectPlace's value comes by providing multiple ways to manage a project in one location; plan, kanban board, whiteboarding and a great document repository.
What do you dislike about the product?
The plan screen could use additional improvements to make it more user friendly. New users tend to either fall back into old ways easily or take longer to truly embed a new process as the tool is not quick to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to improve our software upgrade processes by utilizing Project place. The ability to build out a project plan, decompose the work into cards on a board and easily see what the status of our cards made our process faster and more efficient.

Users sometimes struggle with the various workspaces.

User experience is very clean and easy to understand. Love the cards functionality.

I wish the requests functionality was embedded into each workspace rather than at the account level

Tracking project tasks across teams and one single source of truth
Formal management of important projects
What do you like best about the product?
It is pleasant for its fast and intuitive interface, it is comfortable to use its tools because everything is organized in a unique way, projects can be added in the main bar and adapt the management mechanisms to be notified with alerts of deliveries in short or medium terms. Its support and integration is another positive point of Projectplace.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is not the most solid thing about this program, however its fast ROI gives you peace of mind when buying it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has perfectly improved our compilation of projects and tasks in one place, now everything is less complex to execute, we use it daily to know what we must do and at what time or specific date the tasks must be completed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Projectplace is very easy and incredible, I have been able to be more organized, creative and punctual with the execution of projects. I am clearer on how to start the workday, I recommend the software.
