A very good career with the main purpose to give value to the customers

What do you like best about the product?
For me, the primary advantage of the platform is its rapid development speed. Additionally, I find it remarkable how easy it is to learn, even for those who do not come from a tech background.
What do you dislike about the product?
The first thing that comes to mind is how difficult it is to understand the licensing, and I also feel that Outsystems is not suitable for small businesses. I know several small businesses that could really benefit from some simple solutions, but I don't think Outsystems is a viable option for them due to the high cost of the license.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have worked as a consultant with the platform for over nine years, during which I have solved a wide range of problems across different sectors, including banking and healthcare. For example, I contributed to an app used by more than 500,000 users to book appointments and monitor their health. I don't use the platform for my personal benefit, aside from it being my profession; my focus is on delivering value to customers, helping them address their challenges, and making their lives easier. That is my main goal.

The Boogeyman of High Coding

  • October 01, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The visual aspect of it, that easily opens up software development to a wider community and eases a possible daunting career path
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of automated test capabilities, without resorting to external solutions, which increase cost and effort to a tool that is designed to speed up development and therefore the software development life cycle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is enabling software development to a much wider audience, bringing more talent to problem solving and tearing down the barriers of technical obstacles. That is how it found me a job. From a more technical standpoint, prior to GenAI, it is speeding up development to astounding speeds while still allowing integration with legacy and traditional technology/high coding.

The platform offers the necessary facilities to create applications, and the support provided is helpful.
