An amazing low-code platform
What do you like best about the product?
I am not an OutSystems user or developer. However, I am part of a development team as an integrations and middleware specialist. The biggest benefit I see in OutSystems is the speed and ease of use my colleagues have when developing and maintaining apps. Furthermore, the "simplicity" of the platform allows me to easilly see and know what my colleagues are working on or what is going on in a specific application.
What do you dislike about the product?
The "simplicity" I mentioned is also the reason I don't like to work with the platform because I don't like low-code. However, the fact that it is not for me does not mean it is bad in anyway.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to:
- Cffload parts of our ERP system in a separate application that is highly custimisable
- Create applications for users to create and view orders
- Create an application application for employees to log ideas for improvement
- ...

Quick Development for everyone
What do you like best about the product?
It's really easy to start with and explain the code to none programmers because of the visual layout of the application. Also it's easy to deploy new versions when they are ready with CI/CD
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's challenging to build a very specific use case that you have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of creating custom interfacing on top of the ERP systems that we use, so that we don't have to do that within the ERP making it easier to upgrade the ERP system when we want to.
Outsystems Development made easy
What do you like best about the product?
Developing with outsystems is a fantastic way to get quick, scalable apps running in not time with not has many resources has traditional develoment, I have been developing with outsystems for a couple of years now, and inplementation with other services is easy, fast and secure
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have much to dislike about outsystems, it should keep it has it is
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most of our tech factory runs on outsystems, so its benefiting basically us basically by being a fast development platform and solid platform we can trust!
OutSystems for automation a rural Bank for Process Efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
OutSystems is a really good tool for low code development. It allows us to develop applications in weeks that were not possible before with other tools we have. It allowed us to cut cost and even time for processing internal capabilities that we manually do. It even allowed us to address regulatory compliance checks needed for a Bank in the Philippines.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much about it, the migration might take time for moving to ODC but there are migration tools already available to help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We now have the capability to provide our customers with a mobile banking application that gives them the avenue to manage their funds and do transactions online without going to a physical branch of the Bank.

This platform offers a valuable opportunity to work and to design an excellent user interface, enhancing the overall experience for users.

There’s nothing more to say—I truly love OutSystems, and I see this as the opportunity of a lifetime for me.

I think it should take into consideration also small businesses, currently looks like it only aims to the big ones. but other than that nothing to complain about

The community engagement is strong, and the forum support is helpful. It's also easy to learn the initial steps.

Creating front-end components straight out of the box can sometimes be more challenging.

It is straightforward to develop with and easy to use.
