RidgeBot Experience

  • June 08, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and the great advantages it offers with its penetration tasks to different destinations, showing the weak points that organizations must reinforce and improve.
What do you dislike about the product?
I must have a virtualized infrastructure to be able to run it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solve the difficulty in conducting a good penetration test on various targets such as servers, end-user devices, and web platforms, since manual testing can take several weeks, while RidgeBot performs them in hours. Additionally, every month there are updates to its databases and/or libraries, quickly improving the exposure to new threats that may affect our IT infrastructure.

What do you like best about the product?
The auto expliotation tool as is quite unqiue from other tools
What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot bypass some attacks as is identify as dead host/port
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
RidgeBot is a powerful automation tool that significantly enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of penetration testing (pentest) activities. It addresses several key challenges faced by pentesters, making the entire process faster and more streamlined.

One of the primary problems RidgeBot solves is the time-consuming nature of manual pentesting tasks. By automating repetitive tasks such as scanning for vulnerabilities, identifying misconfigurations, and executing common attack vectors, RidgeBot frees up valuable time for pentesters to focus on more complex and critical aspects of the assessment.

Furthermore, RidgeBot helps in reducing human error, which is often a concern in manual testing. By automating certain tasks, the tool ensures consistency and accuracy in the testing process, leading to more reliable results.
