Centralizes the management of all our Check Point products in one place and offers robust stability
What is our primary use case?
The Infinity Portal is primarily a management tool. It's a single pane of glass to access and control all our Check Point products from one central location.
I work extensively with the Infinity Portal. It's the central management interface for all our Check Point products.
How has it helped my organization?
It has brought value. For example, a customer already has Check Point solutions in place. Rather than opening a separate console for each product, they can use the Infinity Portal. Just open Infinity, and with a single click, they're redirected to the product they need – email security, Harmony Connect, Harmony Internet Access, for example. It eliminates the need to open multiple interfaces.
It's how we manage products like Harmony Mobile, which enhances our mobile security.
Infinity is a platform. The zero-day protection capabilities would come from the specific products we use within it.
My primary work involves Check Point firewalls and the Harmony product portfolio. We've definitely seen a lot of focus and new business growth in areas like Harmony and Arbor.
What is most valuable?
It's very easy to access and works fine for me. Centralizing the management of all our Check Point products in one place saves our team a ton of time.
Infinity is a platform rather than a specific security feature. It provides a central access point for our purchased Check Point products like Harmony Email, Harmony Connect, Harmony Browser, Harmony VPN, etc.
The unified management console enhances security operations. We manage all our products through a single console instead of needing to open separate interfaces for each one.
What needs improvement?
The updates could be less frequent.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using it for six years now.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I would rate the stability a ten out of ten. Stability is always important. I haven't faced any issues with the Infinity Portal in the last six or seven years.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
There is no need for scalability as it is a ready-made and web-based product that we got from Check Point. Most of our customers use it, for example, firewalls, Harmony product portfolio, and cloud/network security. Most of these customers find the Infinity Portal beneficial because of its convenience.
There are easily over a hundred customers. Customers already using Check Point products are, by default, using the Infinity Portal to access them. Even I use it.
How are customer service and support?
The customer service and support are very good. It is very fast and customer friendly. It has been very friendly.
How was the initial setup?
It's incredibly easy. Once you have a Check Point account, the portal is ready to use. All you need is the URL.
As a cloud-based platform, so, there wasn't easy to difficult. It is a one-minute job. There are no specific requirements for the platform.
One of the benefits is that there's no deployment required for the Infinity Portal itself. It's accessible via a simple URL.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
There's no additional license requirement.
What other advice do I have?
Overall, I would rate the solution a ten out of ten. It's reliable, stable, and very easy for anyone to access from anywhere.
Threat emulation solution
What do you like best about the product?
Sandblast by checkpoint as one of the latest solution for both online and offline threat emulation, features such as cloud and internal network emulation makes the solution easy to use, various connection and handling modes and features to highlight. Implementation of the software is a bliss as mentioned beacuse of online and offline capabilities. Overall a unique and onpar the best sandbox solution which covers the entire threat landscape and portrays all results based on the attack matrix.
What do you dislike about the product?
The configuration and integration requires some level of knowledge assumed the capability of the solution it's not of big concern as customer support is always good
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sandblast provide unique solution to the emulation or sandbox environment by giving out results in the form of a very aligned representation to the mitre attack matrix, and the capabilities the solution offers are onpar with industry standards and notable features are also provided
Excellent Threat Emulation Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Threat emulation helps to identify comman and advanced malware threats inclusive of software and executable threats which helps to prevent further exploits. Very useful and impactful as an early warning Threat protection system

Detection of malicious viruses and other file types is most that we like
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's providing return on investment and helpful to identify threats
Infinity Porta is a secure environment and has good overall functionality
What is our primary use case?
We needed to handle the administration of the tools that we have with Check Point without the use of administration servers and from the cloud. With this product, we can centrally manage our security environments for the company through a web portal.
It is really easy to do it this way as the portal is managed directly by Check Point. We can detach ourselves from the portal and focus on the security of the infrastructure itself. The portal is extremely intuitive for admins.
How has it helped my organization?
We like the Check Point Infinity Portal's functionality. It provides us, within the license, the use of a secure environment for the administration of various manufacturer tools and we can easily, intuitively, and safely work from the web browser without having to have our own server and additional licensing to manage. In addition, this console complies with all identity security tools that prevent us from being violated by losing control of the console.
From the portal, we manage our FWs in addition to using Harmony Connect.
What is most valuable?
This web tool, or the web administration server included in the license, is really intuitive. We can add our environments and can configure and manage them easily which is why administrators are happy with this tool.
There are no additional costs, which is why it is really important for the company.
And finally, it is managed by Check Point in terms of access, availability, and security. Connecting to the portal is secure which is really providing the company with administration security.
What needs improvement?
Check Point Infinity's web application is sometimes a little slow. It really is only a little slow, however, it is perceived that it is not normal to be that way. The performance of the site could be improved depending on the capabilities it has at the moment.
There should be more documentation on these new technologies and administrative portals, in addition to including more tools from the manufacturer to finally have them all centralized to facilitate the client's administration from the same place without having any connectivity problems.
For how long have I used the solution?
We have used Check Point Infinity Portal for at least a year and have had great results. It is a centrally managed environment for many of the other Check Point tools.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I have not previously used a solution similar to Check Point Infinity.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The tool comes licensed with the required security tools. I recommend that new users try it as a test mode to determine if their infrastructure and the administration functionality work for them.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
We always try to validate the competence of manufacturers in our organization in order to determine the best option. In this case, Check Point is the best option for us.
Infinity Total Protection protect our entire organization

Inifinity Total Protection is very good solution to up and running our business securely with all the way.
It is providing complete security to our local resources as well as remote / roaming resources and data as well.

This kind of security only provide Check Point. There is absulately no such dislike

Consolidated Cyber Security Architecture
What do you like best about the product?
Consolidated Cyber Security Architecture including Mobile/Network/Cloud/Hybrid and even Internet of Things (IoT) providing prevention from threats both known and unknown.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it does work its best to prevent Zero day attacks, someone needs to get affected in order for others in the industry to be safe guarded. Better and lighter resource utilized sandboxing feature should be integrated in the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unified Security Management where you can create policies across the environment and has been able to prevent multiple attacks so far. Provides an easy view of traffic logs for auditing and comes with a recommended prevention profile which gets updated very frequently. Has really helped allow/prevent traffic based on the company policy.
Great security solution
What do you like best about the product?
The building blocks of the Check Point Infinity solution work just great with each other, and the architecture may be easily extended. I also personally like that now there is only one application used to manage all the components - the new Smart Console ( if you worked with R77 version of the software, you will love the unified approach of R80).
What do you dislike about the product?
So far we are fully satisfied with the Check Point Infinity solution and can't provides any disadvantages of the solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The "Infinity" is not some standalone security solution, but the way you plan and implement the whole security infrastructure of you company. It contains all the modern components from Check Point. In our company we use the hardware appliances - Next Generation Firewalls with a bunch of blades activated (DLP, IPS, VPN etc.) to protect the DataCenters, which are controlled by the Check Point Security management (with the current version being R80.30). These are the basic building blocks of the Check Point Infinity, and they work jsut great together, and allow for the future extension - we think about adding the Anti-DDOS protection on the edge of our environments. We are fully satisfied with the abilities it provides and the general approach of the Check Point solutions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The solution is great, but if you still hesitate, you may request the demo from the Check Point, or just use the Demo mode of the Smart Console to connect to the cloud management and try it for free. I gives good understanding about the solution capabilities.
Unified security architecture for your company
What do you like best about the product?
The Check Point Infinity architecture is the unified approach for building the unified security infrastructure of our company. I like that it covers all the pieces of the modern enterprise organization security needs - offices and data centers, public cloud environments, interconnects between them, as well as the end user devices - laptops, smartphones, tablets etc. We have the full control over what our employees could do with the devices we provide them, to provide the secure and reliable network infrastructure. I also like that all the components are tightly integrated and there is single endpoint to control all the elements - the Smart Console.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even so we had several support cases opened for the components of the Check Point Infinity architecture, as administrator, I'm satisfied with the solution and the abilities it provides, so can't describe any disadvantages at the moment, except for the overall price of the purchasing and maintaining the whole lot of the components.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Check Point Infinity is the key component and the core of the security infrastructure of our company. The elements of it are spread among the offices and physical data centers (Next Generation Firewall with IPS, URL Filtering and Application Control), public cloud environments (CloudGuard security gateways), office computers and laptops (Endpoint Security clients) and even BYOD mobile device (Check Point Capsule). It think it covers all the security aspects we need, and all the components work together like a charm. The components were deployed step-by-step, starting from the network level up to the endpoint devices. Now we have just one place to manage the security of the company - the Check Point Smart Console. In addition, we activated the SmartEvent correlation, and it serves as a in-house Security Operation Center for our support team, with alerting the on-call security engineers in case of serious incidents.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The Check Point Infinity security architecture is the robust and modern security solution for the organization of any size, but make sure you have a dedicated budged to maintain it - it is really not cheap. Also, it is better to have some dedicated certified Check Point specialist in your engineering team, since the solution is complex.
