What is our primary use case?
I have been using JFrog Artifactory for the past three years. We primarily use JFrog Artifactory for storing our Docker images, packages, artifacts, and other files that we use in our applications on a day-to-day basis.
In a CI/CD pipeline, there are several workflows and steps where you bundle your code as an image or as an artifact so that you can use it for running the image in containers using Kubernetes. In those stages of the CI/CD pipeline, we generally build the image using Docker. After building the image, we need to store it for future usage. For storing the images that we build using those CI/CD pipelines, we use JFrog Artifactory in our current environment.
What is most valuable?
One of the greatest features JFrog Artifactory can offer is RTFS, which stands for Real-time Federation Service. If we have two Artifactorys in two different regions, RTFS is the feature of JFrog Artifactory that can help us in federating those two repositories in real time. It is definitely helpful and it reduces the latency, and it is a brilliant feature that I love.
We have teams working across the globe. For that reason, if we have JFrog Artifactory in a single region, the people who are working far away from that region will definitely face latency. For that reason, we have deployed JFrog Artifactory in two different regions so that our users can access it without any latency. If we have two Artifactorys in two different regions, there will be a gap in data or a data mismatch between two JFrog Artifactorys. What the RTFS feature does in JFrog Artifactory is that it federates and syncs all the data from one repository to the other repository and vice versa. It always maintains the same data in both repositories and in both JFrog Artifactorys. This feature helps us in syncing these two repositories all the time without any manual effort, and it happens in real time within seconds.
There are many features such as user management, administration, and service management and different types of features, but this one is the most standout feature.
What needs improvement?
The most significant thing that I can express is that upgrading JFrog Artifactory to the new version is a bit cumbersome and it is a tedious process. If that could be addressed, then everything would be very smooth and very useful. There are no other challenges except this.

JFrog Artifactory is pretty stable.

It is very scalable. I would rate it a ten out of ten.

I can share that JFrog Artifactory definitely has a very good return on investment and it has saved a lot of time, money, and manpower, though I cannot share the specific numbers.

The pricing is very competitive and fits well within our budget.
What other advice do I have?
JFrog Artifactory has definitely impacted our organization in a positive manner. Approximately 20,000 people or 20,000 pipelines use JFrog Artifactory on a day-to-day basis. If we had any other tool instead of JFrog Artifactory, it would definitely not work as effectively as JFrog Artifactory.
Most of the time JFrog Artifactory saves time because it is very fast. The tools, the services, and the features it has are really brilliant and no other tool can match it. If you are a large organization with multiple JFrog Artifactorys in multiple regions, JFrog Artifactory with RTFS is a brilliant tool. I would rate this review a ten out of ten.

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to manage because Jfrog provides centralised repository for my artifacts. As I am a devops engineer it helps me in integrating with CI/CD tools also and the implementation is also easy and it supports wide range of packages and it is good in scalability and also highly avaialable making it suitable for my complex projects. I frequently use this tool in my daily working life.

Jfrog user interface can be more user friendly

It is helping me by storing my all artifacts at one place and also It has multi-cloud support and It is very efficient to use as container registry in using CI/CD pipelines for automation. This tool helps me in daily working with maintaining the artifacts.
Best for Artifact Storage
What do you like best about the product?
It was very easy to implment the Artifact storage solution for our Docker products and NPM packages. We had a seamless integration and migration from Artifactory to Jfrog.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing was not transparent initially and initially we expected more help from the customer support.

What do you like best about the product?
Jfrog is the best artifact Lifecycle management solution I've ever used, it is fast and reliable, and the configuration is straightforward and very fast to get things done.
What do you dislike about the product?
While JFrog is a powerful tool, there are areas for improvement:
Pricing: JFrog's pricing can be on the higher side for small to medium-sized businesses. It would be great to see more budget-friendly plans or options for startups.
Learning Curve: For beginners, JFrog Artifactory may have a learning curve due to its extensive feature set. Improved onboarding resources and documentation would be helpful.

JFrog's efficient artifact storage and retrieval system ensures that developers have access to the correct versions of dependencies. This results in fewer issues related to incorrect or missing artifacts and improves development productivity.
Easy to use, easy to set up
What do you like best about the product?
I like using JFrog as it is easy to use and set up. Once that process is finished, I can download packages on the daily without having to go through additional steps to reauthenticate my packages.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have nothing to dislike about jFrog at this time.

JFrog solves the security aspect of having packages that are company private and need to distributed throughout multiple timezones

What do you like best about the product?
Aside from offering best-in-class products, JFrog truly has second-to-none customer support service. Their R&D actively solicits input from users and partners in future developments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like any other Software company, the product is not always flawless; however, they strive to correct the issues as fast as possible.

It provides a single source of truth for our software supply chain.

JFrog, a tool necessary if life moves in artifacts
What do you like best about the product?
JFrog tool was introduced at the time when the artifactory and it's links were unable to handle in large organisations, these pipelines actually helped a ton in managing large amount of data with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
This tool has nothing to be disliked from my end, there is yet many API and formats that need to be upgraded in the system configuration, but other than that the user experience is satisfactory

In my organisation, there were multiple builds that were getting deployed and a chain of steps was given, build then sanity testing and then release, which got easily covered using this pipeline from JFrog

Integration with some tools can be improved. I was just using this app for some time, so I felt good overall about this product.

Best End to End CICD platform
What do you like best about the product?
Excellent CICD software which covers lot of features you hardly find in other CI/CD platforms such as Artifactory Storage mechanism & out of the box supported Security scan i.e XRAY. Easier integration with Public cloud

Not that i have come across, i feel this platform covers all the aspects of Project Delivery lifecycle
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the main problems is that Security Scans using XRAY to scan for the Vulnerabilities something that i really find best compared to other tools in the market
