ARIS: Strong Culture, Quality Solutions, and Real Growth Opportunities
What do you like best about the product?
Its reputation for combbiniing strong work culture, and opportunities for growth. I appreciate that ARIS focuses on delivering quality solutions while also investing in employee development.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t have any specific dislikes about ARIS based on what I know. From my perspective, every organization has areas where processes can improve as they grow, and I see that as normal for any successful company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
improving operational efficiency, streamlining processes, and delivering reliable solutions for clients. Being part of a company that solves real business problems.
Powerful Process Modeling and Analysis for Clear, Standardised Workflows
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create clear, standardised process models (BPMN/EPC) and maintain everything in a centralised repository is a real strength. It makes complex business workflows easy to understand and communicate across teams. The combination of process modelling and analysis is the most helpful part for us. We can not only design workflows, but also analyse them to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies. This is especially useful in our client projects when we are recommending process improvements to clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
ARIS can be quite complex to use, especially when managing large process repository tasks such as linking processes and handling data across-models are not always intuitive. There are also occasional challenges with data consistency, and reporting matrix outputs may not always align as expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ARIS solves the problem of limited visibility and a lack of standardisation in business processes. In many client environments within our organisation, processes are either undocumented or exist in silos, which makes it difficult to understand dependencies and spot inefficiencies. With ARIS, we can model, centralise, and standardise processes, which brings clarity across teams and creates a more consistent way of working. It also helps us identify the current state (“as-is”) and define workflows more clearly.
The main benefits we have observed include better communication between business and technical teams, faster identification of inefficiencies and improvement opportunities, and improved documentation. This documentation is especially useful for audit and compliance, and it has helped us significantly with our SOX and HIPAA audits.

What do you like best about the product?
Data loading was very easy, also gives hints about errors experienced while loading.
Short learning curve to configure correctly the OOTB dashboard apps.
AI companion was helpful to configure measures without need of coding knowledge --> no-code user here.
Easy admin of users
Link from process mining tool (discovered model) to BPM tool
Time saving - easy to transfer analyis across projects to reuse templates.

What do you dislike about the product?
Overwriting the data was not so intuitive. Had to reset and reload in different pages to prevent appending the data.
I missed the capability to interlink processes without overcomplicating the case identification and event logs. The OOTB apps.
Complex to make disconnected filters to apply to individual apps in a report (for benchmarks)
Some metrics were not consistent when resetting and reapplying the same filters (within a close range, but not the same number as before)

What do you like best about the product?
Process data maps in ARIS provides a diagrammatic representation of end to end flow of data between various supporting applications used in the execution of a business process or business model. It helps explain the journey of a business process step with defined RACI as per data governance matrix
What do you dislike about the product?
ARIS takes huge amount of time to render the flow, maps , diagrams of any object which is created
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ARIS is helping my organization in solving the business Architecture problem statement. It clearly articulates the flow of data between various supporting applications and end user computing systems. Data lineage and data provenance is one of the problem statement which ARIS resolves

BPMN very easy with Aris, training modules are very effective.

training can be more effective by using more videos.

ARIS: Great Tool That Grows With You
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about ARIS is how process-centric it is, without being overwhelming. Whether you're trying to optimize customer journeys or understand internal workflows, it just works. I’ve used it to map out entire customer touchpoints across email, ads, and landing pages. Having that bird’s-eye view made it easier to tie content goals with business KPIs. I’m not a techie, but ARIS made me feel like I could think like one.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, ARIS has a lot going for it—but like any robust tool, there’s a bit of a learning curve, especially for beginners. As someone transitioning from content into digital marketing, the sheer number of features felt a bit overwhelming at first. But once you get the hang of the interface, it starts to make a lot more sense. Would love to see a more intuitive onboarding for new users.

ARIS helps streamline complex business processes, making them easier to visualize, analyze, and improve. It’s been a game-changer in bridging communication between strategy and operations. With over 6 years of experience, I can confidently say it adds real clarity and structure to transformation initiatives.

What I like best about ARIS is how user-friendly and intuitive it is for mapping complex business processes. It makes collaboration between teams seamless and ensures everyone is aligned, which is a big win in any organization.

One thing I dislike about ARIS is that it can feel a bit overwhelming at first, especially for new users due to its complex interface and wide range of features. It also tends to be resource-intensive, which can slow things down on less powerful systems.

Great tool for identifying the process tabs and process mining of data.

The updates on the tool are slow. Some key KPIs are hard to calculate.
