ARIS - Low code and No code Process Mining made easy
What do you like best about the product?
Completeness of this tool is mesmerising. Frequent Update deployments as well as excellent support services makes it much feasible. Scalability is another good point.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ability to export the process maps to other tools is one of the missing features for me in this tool. Also, reporting could have been faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Aris, i am able to find out the bottlenecks in any As-Is business process using the process mining. It provides me an in depth analysis for the process as well as getting a fot gap analysis.

ARIS process mining is a nice tool and can be wonderfully utilised for analyzing the gaps in business process and hence improving and digitizing it.

The product provides detailed info about time stamped data of process and provides lot of analytics on the process steps.
This helps in identifying challenges and improvement opportunities in processes.

Nothing as such. More custom analytics would be good. Product is improving.

Procurment and invoicing.
It has helped improve process and reduce cycle time. Also lot of automation opportunities were identified and plan developed.

Sometimes due to large volume of dataset the feels latency

Using in the P2P space to understand the business processes and bottleneck
A mature product, offering a good package as a tool to the BA's. However, the usage is quite complex
What do you like best about the product?
The completeness that this tool brings to the table is something that is commendable. The timely updates and support services being rendered is excellent and satisfactory. The BPM basics are covered thoroughly, plus the advanced features are easily scalable.
What do you dislike about the product?
One has to pay for being able to utilise the latest updates/ objects in the tool for example. This makes it difficult to utilise . Other problems with the tool are with the report generation, depending upon the level of the flow, identification of bottlenecks and suggestions based on the problem areas identified using process mining capability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to chart down the As-Is Process and helps to get a better view and understanding to be able to recommend a future state process of business. It also eases the fit-gap analysis to be carried out. A well-designed process flow in Aris can facilitate a better understanding across the discussions with multiple stakeholders.

If I could export the process map in the Aris tool to visio to create my pdd & sdd documents it will be really amazing and non existence of this capability is only what I dislike

What do you like best about the product?
Capabilities like process conformance check and spot improve. It helps in analyzing how the business actually functions, not just the happy path but also the compliant scenarios.
What do you dislike about the product?
Should come up with a learning academy and free certifications for people who wants to learn and make career in Aris process mining tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving problems in finding root causes for low FPYs and since its a cloud based offering it increases visibility and speed with which innovative ideas can be shared with stakeholders to achieve better FPYs in F&A domain

Widgets and charts are limited. Root case analysis is not available out of the box. No correlation analysis. Can't create complex custom KPIs
