Great tool for testing the app on different devices and platforms
What do you like best about the product?
My team is using browserstack daily to run automation scenarios on real Android and iOS devices, as well as manual testing during features development. This allows us to cover run tests in the cloud and cover the majority of different devices and OS.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ability to test on two devices simultaneously was an add-on feature but we recently acquired it so I'm able to compare Android and iOS app behavior side by side which is a huge benefit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Browserstack eliminates the need to have too many physical devices running different OS versions to test features on. Also I can simply address some customer issues by reproducing the issue on a very specific device and OS version.
Revolutionized Our Cross-Browser Testing
What do you like best about the product?
I like the breadth combined with the convenience of BrowserStack. It offers hundreds of real browsers and devices and provides a fast and reliable remote session. I also appreciate how it integrates seamlessly with our existing tools like Jira, Slack, Github, and our test framework, removing all the friction usually associated with cross-browser testing so the team actually does it consistently. Parallel testing is a big benefit, allowing us to run tests simultaneously across multiple browsers, dramatically cutting down our test suite time compared to sequential runs. I also enjoy that the setup was smooth and straightforward, allowing us to start manual testing almost immediately, and it just took a few hours to integrate with our CI pipeline.
What do you dislike about the product?
Test flakiness can be hard to distinguish from infrastructure issues, sometimes it's unclear whether a failure is a real bug, a network hiccup, or something on BrowserStack's end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack eliminates the need for a device lab, catches cross-browser bugs early, and integrates with our tools like Jira and Slack. It offers parallel testing, reducing test time. No switching needed, setup was smooth and quick.
Comprehensive Testing with Speed Limitations
What do you like best about the product?
I use BrowserStack for UAT and PVT in website testing projects. I appreciate being able to access many different browsers and devices, as well as operating systems, to check web design and functionality. I like the ability to test multiple screens side by side to compare. Adding multiple screens that perform the same functions, like moving through an online form, is useful and saves a lot of time, although it doesn't always work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The multiple screens don't sync much of the time. I also find BrowserStack to be quite slow in comparison to a real browser.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use BrowserStack to access different browsers, devices, and operating systems for testing web design and functionality. Testing multiple screens side-by-side saves time, although it doesn't always sync properly.
Powerful CI/CD and Real Device Testing, but Pricey
What do you like best about the product?
Ci cd and real devices testing not fake engine
What do you dislike about the product?
Quite costly and laggy during peak hours sometimes gotta refresh the app or reopen it multiple times
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Speed up the project and testing reliability
Efficient Mobile Testing Across Devices
What do you like best about the product?
I like that BrowserStack allows me to test apps on different devices and OS versions without needing them physically available. Everything seems great so far, although I'm just starting out and haven't used it extensively yet. The initial setup was pretty easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was hard to figure how to allow local network access to the sessions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use BrowserStack to test apps on different devices and OS versions without needing them physically.
Great for Students, Needs Improved Desktop Support
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to set up another browser on a different computer with BrowserStack, and it’s great that it’s free for students to use. The initial setup was very easy, just click and test.
What do you dislike about the product?
I was disappointed that testing on Windows was not possible, as that was my most important use case. BrowserStack doesn't allow me to control Windows virtual machines fully. I couldn't get any freedom like accessing files, having admin access, or MCP connections. These limitations stopped me from using BrowserStack, as I needed to use the computer fully, not just a Windows browser.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use BrowserStack mainly to test applications on different platforms but lack Windows desktop support. I like the ease of setting up another browser and its free access for students.
Essential For Efficient Website Testing
What do you like best about the product?
I find BrowserStack very easy to use and it always works. I appreciate the speed of websites and the internet on the VMs. Setting up tests is quick because I don't have to set up the right devices or VMs myself.
What do you dislike about the product?
The VNC connection could be better. Something smoother and better quality would be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use BrowserStack for testing websites on different platforms. It is very easy to use and always works. It is fast for analyzing, so I don't have to spend time setting up devices or VMs.
Effortless Cross-Browser Testing, Minor Performance Hiccups
What do you like best about the product?
I mainly use BrowserStack for cross-browser and cross-device testing. What I like most about BrowserStack is how quickly I can test across different browsers and real devices without any setup. It's very convenient to reproduce issues in specific environments, and it saves a lot of time compared to managing everything locally. I also like how easy it is to switch between devices and browsers and start testing instantly. The initial setup was pretty straightforward. You can start testing directly from the browser without much configuration, and connecting it to a local environment is also simple. Overall, it didn't take much time to get up and running.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the sessions can feel a bit slow or laggy, especially on real devices, which makes debugging less smooth. It can also take time to start a session or reconnect if it drops. I've also seen occasional inconsistencies in performance, and the pricing can feel a bit high for smaller teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use BrowserStack for cross-browser and cross-device testing, eliminating local setup needs, quickly reproducing bugs, and catching UI inconsistencies. It saves time and hassle, switching easily between devices and browsers, and improving test reliability across all environments.
Steep Learning Curve, Hard to Navigate
What do you like best about the product?
Didn't get a chance to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't really understand how to use or integrate BrowserStack into any of my projects. The subscription was only good for a year, and I never got a chance to actually use it. I thought it would be useful in developing a personal website, but I wasn't able to use any of the benefits or features before my trial ended. The initial setup was hard. I think better documentation and granting free access while in the GitHub program would have made it easier.
