Easy, Affordable Cross-Browser Testing with BrowserStack

  • March 24, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
For me, as a developer, the main benefit is being able to perform cross-browser and cross-device testing. Our systems depend heavily on the customer experience, so getting valuable insights into what could break before we ship to production is essential. Rather than manually sourcing all of these devices ourselves, we can simply jump into the platform and easily access them when we need to test. It's really easy to integrate browserstack into our current toolset, it's performant enough, the system is easy to understand and the pricing doesn't bite. All in all - nice tool
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s still some loss of flexibility compared to owning the devices yourself. Also, the limit on parallel sessions may hit a ceiling at some point if we don’t opt for a more expensive plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives us confidence that we can reach all of our customers, regardless of the different browsers or devices they may be using.

Effortless Cross-Browser Testing with Real Devices

  • March 24, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use BrowserStack for cross-browser testing and debugging web applications, and it's essential for ensuring compatibility. One of the main problems it solves for me is the difficulty of testing on multiple browsers and devices. What I like most is the convenience and time it saves. I can test across multiple environments in minutes without worrying about setup. The access to real devices is a big plus, and overall the platform feels reliable and easy to use. Setting it up was very easy, and everything was pretty intuitive from the beginning. I also use it together with testing tools like Selenium and Cypress, and sometimes integrate it into my CI/CD workflow, which helps automate testing across different browsers and devices more efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, the platform can feel slightly slow when loading certain environments, and it may take a bit of time to switch between devices. It would also be great to see more flexible pricing options, especially for smaller teams. That said, these are relatively minor compared to the overall value it provides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use BrowserStack for cross-browser testing, helping me check compatibility and catch issues early. It saves time and costs on managing environments manually, quickly tests on real devices, and integrates well with automation tools like Selenium and CI/CD workflows.

Efficient Mobile App Testing Across Real Devices

  • March 24, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the ease of use of BrowserStack. It saves me time by running different devices in parallel. It's especially helpful for testing on real devices with different screen sizes, particularly for Android where certain OS versions can cause a different experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Works quite well for my use case. However, additional logging enabled like network API calls and such would be beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use BrowserStack for testing on real devices, accommodating different screen sizes and Android versions. It runs parallel tests on devices, saving time, and is easy to use. It works well but could improve with more logging features.

Insightful Testing with Setup Challenges

  • March 24, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use BrowserStack for testing and alerts, especially in our development environment to catch bugs before shipping to production. I appreciate the alerts that signal us if our environment is broken. It helps us detect flakiness in our tests and if any of our end-to-end testing is failing. I like how it gives us good insights into our tests and helps us drill down on what's failing. The feature of having videos recorded and screenshots available is particularly helpful for debugging failing tests.
What do you dislike about the product?
It wasn't intuitive to set up. I think there were multiple product lines that confused me, so I had to run through several docs before it got up and running. I think the CI/CD docs could be improved. The initial setup wasn't super easy; it took me a few working days to get it up and running.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use BrowserStack for testing and alerts, which helps us catch bugs before production. It detects test flakiness and failing end-to-end tests. I appreciate the insights, video recordings, and screenshots that aid in debugging failing tests.

Streamlines Security Testing with Ease

  • March 24, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how BrowserStack allows me to have two devices in one window, which means I don't have to shut down one device to boot another. This is especially helpful for testing applications using both Android and iOS environments together. The ability to re-route traffic from virtualized instances to my local network is great because the traffic generated through apps can be routed to a proxy. This helps in intercepting traffic and understanding what goes through the network. I also appreciate the API access. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy, just 3-clicks away.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having rooted devices in the environment would definitely help me stick around with BrowserStack. Having access to devices for dynamic instrumentation and reading data within memory.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack solves virtualization and logistics challenges, allowing testing on Android and iOS simultaneously without rebooting. It enables routing app traffic to proxies for traffic interception, enhancing my understanding of network activities.

Flexible Multi-OS Testing, but New Device Setup Can Be Tricky

  • March 24, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of using multiple operating systems and device combinations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since the devices are emulated, it can sometimes be a pain to setup a new testing device.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows our distributed teams to test across many devices and operating systems, without the need for each team member to have multiple physical devices. Browserstack also helps us with access to the latest devices, which would otherwise be difficult to procure.

Powerful Cross-Device Testing and CI/CD Integration, but Cost and Latency Can Bite

  • March 24, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
BrowserStack is highly valued for providing extensive access to a vast array of real mobile devices and desktop browsers, enabling accurate cross-browser and cross-device testing without the overhead of maintaining physical labs. Its cloud-based nature offers unparalleled convenience and scalability, allowing teams to run tests concurrently and integrate seamlessly with existing CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks, ultimately accelerating release cycles and improving software quality.
What do you dislike about the product?
BrowserStack can include its cost, which might be prohibitive for smaller teams or projects with limited budgets, and occasional performance latency when interacting with remote devices, depending on internet connection quality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
primarily solves the critical problem of web and mobile application compatibility testing across a fragmented ecosystem. It addresses the challenge developers face in ensuring their software works flawlessly across hundreds of different real devices, operating systems, and browser versions without requiring them to purchase, set up, and maintain an expensive, ever-evolving physical device lab.
