Save Your Time with Crossbrowser Testing

  • April 11, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Supports a vast range of browsers and operating systems.
Provides access to real devices for testing across different browsers, OS, and combinations.
Access from anywhere makes it highly convenient for remote teams.
Integrates seamlessly with popular CI/CD tools.
Enables parallel testing, which speeds up the test execution process significantly.
Offers tools like developer logs, network logs, and screenshots for debugging issues.
Live and Automated Testing Options.
Allows testing of locally hosted or firewalled websites using a secure BrowserStack tunnel.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some slowness and latency for Live Testing, particularly for heavy applications.
BrowserStack is relatively expensive, especially for small teams or individual developers, and lower-tier plans often limit the number of parallel sessions.
Debugging locally hosted or firewalled websites can be slower than testing on a local device.
BrowserStack requires an active internet connection since it’s entirely cloud-based, which can be a disadvantage in environments with unreliable connectivity.
Slow responses or insufficient solutions from customer support for technical issues, especially on lower-tier plans.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack allows to ensure that applications work flawlessly across different platforms and devices, leading to better user satisfaction. Eliminates the need for physical infrastructure, saving significant costs. Speeds up regression testing cycles.

WCAG Testing

  • April 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Browserstack has a feature for WCAG Accessibility testing on mobile apps and the web as well. Here we can also automate our testing and reporting for any number execution.
Along with that we get a visual scanner with the Accessibility testing to test our app and web UI.
After the execution of the test we get a detailed report where we can also see the impacts of the issues discovered in the Accessibility testing.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you test for only accessibility testing it will take 1-2 min for a whole page of a website but when you turn on the visual scanner it is taking a lot of time for execution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have scheduled accessibility testing to run on every day at specific time on the day. For implementing this accessibility testing for our website we don't need to build any framework or create pipeline, everything we are doing related to accessibility testing is in its platform only.

BrowserStack makes the Visual Testing Easier

  • April 08, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
So the best thing about BrowserStack to provide best support for Visual Testing
Cross Browser as well as Cross Platform Testing.
It is very easy to integrate with my existing framework.
Easy to implement in any Automation Tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the false positive scenarios got failed.
Sometime the dynamic data validation are not as per the mark.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visual Testing is the most underratted testing. No one looks into it till anything is break on prod. When we talk about Visual Testing it provides the best support to test. Not only visuals on a single browser but also we can achieve the same on Multiple Browsers. Not only to specific to one resolution but also for multiple resolutions.

Opportunity for Improvement for BrowserStack: Download Reports of DevTools Information

  • April 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like BrowserStack for testing on different mobile devices due to the wide variety of real devices and browsers without the need to maintain a physical collection of devices in the team I work with, and this certainly increases the frequency of BrowserStack use by me and other members of my team. Among the features that impress me the most about BrowserStack is the ease of implementation, customer support, and the ease of using it with test automation tools as well, like Cypress, for example. Another point I really like is the real-time debugging with DevTools, which greatly facilitates the quick identification of problems without needing to recreate the environment locally on the developers' machines, for example. Additionally, the ability to perform tests on real networks, various locations, and varied conditions such as 3G, 4G connections, and others help ensure a user experience closer to reality in the software I test with BrowserStack.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it difficult to point out something I don't like about BrowserStack, as it is a very good tool! Something that sometimes bothers me during use is the slight slowness of the device, but I realize that for me this depends a lot on my internet connection, because when the connection is strong, I hardly notice any slowness. However, despite BrowserStack being a tool that I really like and offering various resources that greatly assist in day-to-day tasks, ease of integration with other tools, and other conveniences, I think there is an opportunity for improvement regarding the limitation of not being able to download detailed reports of the information presented in DevTools (network requests, WebSocket, and other events captured during tests). Although it is possible to view this information in real-time, the ability to export it for developers' analysis during the attempt to fix a defect would greatly help with complex problems or those specific to a particular device being used in tests on BrowserStack. Currently, when I encounter a defect in the software I am testing, the developers and I need to manually copy the information from DevTools to assist us in debugging the issue. Often, during the investigation of a defect or even a performance failure of the software I am testing, it is essential to have a detailed history of network requests and API responses. If there were an option to generate complete reports in formats like JSON or CSV, it would greatly help to share this data with other team members and even use it in audits or automations within the test pipeline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Today, BrowserStack in the team I work with solves one of the biggest challenges in web application development and QA: testing compatibility across different browsers, devices, and operating systems without needing to manually set up complex environments. Before we had the BrowserStack tool available to us, conducting comprehensive tests in different contexts of smartphones, browsers, and operating systems required maintaining several physical mobile devices and virtual machines, which demanded a lot of time and high costs. With BrowserStack, we can test applications on real devices in the cloud and ensure that our users' experience is consistent across various scenarios without needing to invest in additional physical hardware.

A Reliable Cross-Browser Testing Companion

  • April 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about BrowserStack is the instant access to real devices and browsers for reliable cross-platform testing. It integrates smoothly with CI/CD pipelines, speeds up our QA process, and eliminates the need for a physical device lab.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about BrowserStack is that performance can occasionally lag, especially during peak times. Also, some advanced debugging features are limited compared to local environments, which can slow down issue resolution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack solves the challenge of cross-browser and cross-device testing by providing instant access to a wide range of real environments in the cloud. This eliminates the need to maintain our own device lab, saving time and resources. It also helps us catch bugs early across different platforms, speeds up our QA cycles, and ensures a more consistent user experience for all users.
