Easy Cross-Browser Testing with BrowserStack
What do you like best about the product?
Browserstack in incredible helpful for QA Engineers because it lets you test on real devices and browsers without needing your own setup. It's easy to use and and works well with tools like Selenium for automation testing. This saves time and helps ensure that the app works smoothly across different devices and platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside is that Browserstack can be expensive, especially for small teams or limited projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Browserstack solves the problem of testing across multiple devices and browsres without needing to maintain a physical lab. It provides instant access to real devices and operating systems, making it easy to identify compatibility issues early. This has saved me time and and effort as a QA Engineer.
It is very user friendly, and easy to use.

1) Very easy to use and we have a wide variety of devices.
2) Implementing in the company is very easy.
3) We use this frequently and we never feel boring
4) We did this with Jira integration.
5 ) Parallel Testing Feature: Many users find it possible to conduct parallel testing on multiple devices.

We switched to browserstack for automation testing from in house cypress
What do you like best about the product?
It is a bit easier to test on different devices than with chrome devtool emulation. We have bot detection so that when testing with incognito windows in chrome, the site would often be blocked. since browserstack uses real devices, this isn't an issue. We also run automation tests with browserstack, and these are a lot less flakey than when using cypress earlier. When integration tests were failing, the video replay was really helpful in letting us debug why the test failed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The use cases are a bit small for my dev flow. Chrome devtools often can do the job since we mainly rely on user agents for detecting device capabilities and rendering device specific experiences. This is easily set in chrome. Browerstack is good for app testing but as a web engineer, its rarely used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
more easily debugging automation tests that fail with video replay of the test running. Testing with a multitude of real devices on a browser easily vs needing the devices on hand

What do you like best about the product?
BrowserStack is revolutionary. It saves a lot of time and is a useful tool for developers. For UI verification and mobile automated testing, Browserstack is a really helpful tool. It offers a hassle-free suite of browsers and APIs. As a developer, you are not need to setup servers, configure all drivers, etc.
Additionally, the support staff is well informed and reachable, which is crucial when assistance is required.

What do you dislike about the product?
Devices I used locally behaved differently from several native Android APIs. For instance, it was not possible to test autofilled values for verification. Although I can't verify it, it might be related to security limits because of possible changes to the sortware of connected devices in Browserstack.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Browserstack offers a comprehensive set of tools and a large range of devices to replicate problems, test the behaviour of applications, and confirm that the user interface is proper. It lessens the amount of time QA teams must spend conducting regression testing.

What do you like best about the product?
Our clients were compiling about the website having issues on safari and the only way to use safari is on mac but with doing some search I found browser stack which provide all the testing functionalities we need. I highly recommend it.

This tool identified more no of issues through the automated testing and it reduce the time for scanning. It improved our productivity like deliver the projects and scanning is completed more pages per day

Browserstack local soemtime is very slow and not so easy to debug.

We works remotely and we don't have a lot of phisical devices (smartphone primarly).

Ensures that applications function correctly across different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.) and their different versions, allowing tester to reach a wider audience, this streamlines the testing process, allowing testers to quickly identify issues across environments without the need to maintain a physical device lab.
Usage of Browserstack as a QA tester
What do you like best about the product?
It provides a lot of useful features required for testers like myself when it comes to testing on mobile devices. I personally use this particularly with the app testing functionality that allows me to test our company apps on different devices. This is extremely useful as it allows us to test on devices with different e.g resoultions without having to have physical devices
What do you dislike about the product?
On some occasions (For unknown reasons) there have been circumstances where bugs detected in the browserstack application do not occur on physcial mobile devices (Although the exact same device and steps are repeated), we are unsure as to what this reason is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problems solved is using mobile and tablet devices to test our apps without requiring physical devices to be purchased. As we have many people working abroad it is extremely cost efficient for us to use browserstack instead of purchasing physical devices
