Unified Security Solution with Impressive Cloud-Native Performance
What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplicity of the management console as it's incredibly intuitive for setting up a new ZTNA policy or onboarding users through our IDP. The 'single pane of glass' feature actually works and saves significant time, cutting our administrative overhead by at least 30%. I love the Global Private Backbone, which has almost entirely eliminated 'the VPN is slow' complaints by providing local 'on-ramps' for our distributed team in Europe and Asia. The latency reduction is a standout advantage, making connections feel native and stopping the 'slow network' tickets overnight. It's great that Check Point SASE provides secure, low-latency access for our remote team and consolidates all our needs into an 'all in one' solution, handling our Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) to internal apps and our Secure Web Gateway.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial onboarding and policy configuration is easy at first, but has a bit of a learning curve. If you have a complex hybrid setup, getting the tunnels and identity-based rules exactly right makes some trial and error, and I wish the documentation was a bit more 'step-by-step' for those specific edge cases. Also, the reporting dashboard could be more granular. While the high-level data is great for a quick check, sometimes digging into specific user logs for troubleshooting requires more clicks than it should. The main thing is filtering logic. If I am trying to investigate a specific user's connection issues from three days ago, I have to do too much manual drilling down to get to the raw logs. It would be great to have more pre-built templates for things like compliance audits or 'Top 10 blocked domain' that I could just export as a clean PDF for my manager. I would also love to see more granular data on GenAI usage. It tells me people are using ChatGPT or Gemini, but I would like more detailed breakdown of data upload volumes or specific risk categories without having to cross-reference multiple screens. Basically, the data is all there, and I just need a more 'one-click' way to get it out of the system and into a report.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Check Point SASE provides secure, low-latency access for my remote team, replacing old slow VPNs and solving latency issues. The single management console reduces my troubleshooting time and administrative overhead significantly while improving security visibility.
Check Point SASEOffers Great Performance, Great Scalability and Granular Security!
What do you like best about the product?
I like many things about Check Point SASE. I particularly like the fact that it provides great performance, great scalability, and granular security.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that left a bitter taste in my mouth about SASE was the complexity of the initial deployment. Another is the steep dollar amount that comes with premium pricing for a medium size business like ours.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Chekh Point SASE provides our remote user base with security and great network performance when accessing our environment from anywhere in the world to perform their job.
Smooth Global User Experience with Strong ZTNA & SWG
What do you like best about the product?
The ZTNA and SWG features, along with the global PoP presence, provide a smooth user experience for my staff around the world. Having a single console for my network and security needs also makes my IT team’s life much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Deployment is a little bit tedious, at least for me, and the policies sometimes require very careful tuning; otherwise, you might be sleepless for at least a couple of nights!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a global presence, with employees traveling from country to country, and I’ve had a really hard time managing policies. It’s also been challenging to ensure employees are always using secure connections and still getting a uniform experience across all locations worldwide—whether they’re in an office, a café, or elsewhere.
Fast Connections and Reliable Data Centers, with Few Drawbacks
What do you like best about the product?
The availability of data centers that would help in lag and traffic loss to lessen. Also the connection times are less than other providers or platforms
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn’t much to dislike about CheckPoint SASE, because it does what it’s supposed to do. That said, some other platforms offer faster access times than CheckPoint—for example, Zscaler. I also think CheckPoint needs to pay more attention to DNS, not just IPs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Checkpoint SASE is solving less downtime and traffic loss which is good for companies. Checkpoint SASE is solving data center availability which is good for us.
Effortless Secure Access with Seamless Integration
What do you like best about the product?
Securing remote access without compromising performance is that simple. The platform integrates seamlessly with existing tools and provides clear visibility into user activity. Centralized management saves time, and policies are easy to adjust to meet business needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial setup and policy configuration can be complex, especially for new users who are not yet familiar with the system, or the documentation is sometimes not very intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It reduces the risk of data breaches, simplifies policy management, and ensures regulatory compliance across different locations. The benefit is clear: smoother connectivity, greater security, and less time spent managing multiple tools to keep everything protected.
Fast, secure access for users without the usual SASE complexity
What do you like best about the product?
I like that users don't feel a performance hit, the access policies are clear and consistent, and everything is managed from one console without too much effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the planning phase took some time - my team and I needed to plan the setup carefully, and the solution could offer more guidance during that stage. Advanced policies need careful tuning, and troubleshooting can require deeper knowledge at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us solving the challenge of securely connecting users from anywhere without slowing them down. The benefit for us is better performance, simpler access management, and consistent security for remote and hybrid users.
All-in-One Security Solution That Simplifies Management
What do you like best about the product?
It combines network security and secure remote access into a single solution, greatly simplifying management and reducing the need to use multiple tools. Furthermore, protection is consistent regardless of whether I am connected from the office or many members of the team are constantly moving from place to place.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial learning curve can be a bit steep because it takes time to understand all the features and adjust security policies to specific needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving the problem of having multiple separate solutions for security and remote access, as it unifies everything into a single platform that protects both the network and cloud applications, which benefits me because now I can connect from anywhere with the same security regardless of whether I'm in the office or working remotely.
Seamless Security and Effortless Remote Work Integration
What do you like best about the product?
It combines robust security with a seamless user experience. Unlike other tools I've tried, it's neither cumbersome nor complicated, and the transition between in office and remote work is smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is powerful, but sometimes requires extra clicks to access simple options, slowing down routine adjustments. While the protection is robust, the learning curve makes adoption more complex than expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, the advantage is clear: I can connect from anywhere with the peace of mind that my sensitive data is protected, while maintaining good performance. This balance between robust security and seamless connectivity makes it easier to focus on work instead of worrying about risks.
Comprehensive Cloud Security with Seamless Remote Access
