Easy SSO & MFA Management with a Helpful Login Activity Dashboard
What do you like best about the product?
IBM Verify CIAM makes it very easy to manage SSO and MFA from one place When we used it for a customer portal project and it handled authentication flows much better than our older setup. The dashboard is also pretty useful for tracking login activity and troubleshooting user access issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside for me was the initial setup and configuration part. If you’re new to CIAM tools, it can feel a bit complex at first. Some advanced settings also took extra time to figure out during integration and testing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped us centralized customer authentication and access management instead of handling everything separately in different applications. We mostly used it for SSO, MFA, and secure login management, which reduced login related issues and made user access more secure and easy to manage.

What do you dislike about the product?
My main improvement area would be ease of implementation and operational experience. The platform is powerful, but simplifying configuration, debugging, and integrations would improve adoption. Getting started was reasonably straightforward, but enterprise level configuration and customization had a learning curve.

Secure and Scalable User Management with IBM Verify CIAM
What do you like best about the product?
I like the security features of IBM Verify CIAM, especially multi-factor authentication (MFA) and single sign-on, as they really help in protecting user accounts and reducing risk. The user management aspect is quite good too, as we can handle a large number of users easily and control access from one place. The login experience is smooth, so users don’t face many issues while accessing the application. Additionally, it is scalable, still working fine as the number of users increases without significant performance issues. Overall, it makes our work easier and improves both security and user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing is the setup and configuration, it was bit complex for us in the beginning and took some time to understand all the features properly. Also the UI can be improved, sometimes it feels little confusing when navigating through different options, especially for new users. Another thing is documentation, even though it is available, sometimes it’s not very clear for some use cases, so we had to spend extra time figuring things out.

Centralized Authentication Made Simple, Despite a Clunky Dashboard
What do you like best about the product?
I find IBM Verify CIAM useful for managing user authentication and access control across various tools. As a developer, I appreciate being able to centralize identity management effortlessly, including features like single sign-on and multi-factor authentication. I like how the authentication flow is easily adaptable based on user type and access needs. Multi-factor authentication is not only an extra security layer but is also consistent with security policies needed for certifications. The access policy setup is great, considering context like device and location, and it helps us trigger extra verification in high-risk situations. Overall, it offers a reliable and secure platform, which is critical for handling user access efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard was a bit tricky sometimes, and I needed a lot of help from others for the setup as I didn't have the time to implement it and fully understand it. If you are new to IAM systems, it can be more difficult. The settings are scattered across multiple sections, making navigation slow, and some flows are several menus deep. A better search could also be a plus.
