Enables IT to provide Transparancy on Costss in a way the Business Understands
Once Set up, the process time to get reports to key users is dramtically improved

What do you dislike about the product?
Apptio BI ... reporting tool is limited and not very useful
Reporting generally, assumes stakeholders will login into the system which is unreasonable for Senior Execs, thus some of the story is lost

Lack of the ability to retain column filters in my view. End Users have to apply all filters to view their reports

The visibiity it brings to tracking finacial performance at all levels of the TBM hierarchy. The efficiency it creates in analyzing trends and forecasting what if scenarios.

Training and adoption of end users. Flexibility of maintaining reference data.

Helping us track and anaylze financial performance across multiple dimensions. This provides valuable insights into strategic planning.

What do you like best about the product?
The report building features allow for lots of customizability and being able to connect to the various other platforms alows for full flow of data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Specifically with TBM studio, there is a high barrier of entry for new users. However, once someone is fully up and running the benefits become rewarding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cost Transparency and Total Cost of Ownership is our big areas of interests and currently starting to see benefits specifically in the TCO area. Our organization had a previous methodology for allocation costs across the organizatino and now we are pivoting to a more modern approach that closely aligns with current needs.

Versatility of the product to agregate data from multiple sources and build solid reporting on that

Reporting layer is not modern enough. Not like any BI on the market, great opportunity to improve

Apptio is solving our cost transparency issue and by bringing that to our LT allows better cost managment and investment decisions

The ability to organize and connect our IT spend has been exceedingly helpful in driving meaningful conversations and benchmarking our performance in the industry.

Nothing stands out here, it just takes time to understand and populate the model.
