Very efficient CI/CD tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I can easily deploy changes in my application by using this product. It handles deployment and is responsible for ensuring that nothing is broken before releasing in production by running my test suites. I also get notified immediately whenever there are failing tests so I can fix it right away.
What do you dislike about the product?
Due to the increasing number of developers in our company, we usually get delayed in deployments when the containers are insufficient. Hopefully CircleCI could forecast the number of containers needed by using the deployment data available to them and make suggestions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Faster deployment with lesser bugs!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is really a very good CI/CD tool. It is free however, if additional containers would be needed, a small amount would be paid. The price is pretty reasonable considering the peace of mind that they bring whenever I deploy my application. By paying a small amount, you are pretty sure that none of the main features gets broken, which may cost more if it happens as the experience that your users will be having may negatively affect the company.

Circle-ci has helped us to build a CD/CI.

What do you like best about the product?
As an amazing and simple platform for building code on my testing and production enviroment, CircleCI helps my all my software developers coworkers and all the product team to rapidly build code, test the esctructure and aprove deployments. It's also really simple to create integrations with tecnology such as git, github and more. CircleCI makes really simple the manager processes of my workflows deploys.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't habe any aditional deslikes for CircleCI, just some insights that could improve the platform to be better for my workflow like: improve the search filters on my jobs and workflows list. The Insights feature could have difrents types of graphics too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building software , management deployment, security deployment process, continuous integration and testing.

In the tech market, the service ofered for CircleCI is one of the best. It makes really easy the process of building, management and deploy software. The implantation process it is also really simple. Me and my coworkers are happy with the platform and totaly able to recomend this.

What do you like best about the product?
We have been using Amazon for a few years, not only CircleCI but also S3, EC2, Beanstalk among others. Regarding CircleCI, it definitely made our continuous integration process much easier, with automatic deployments and multiple environments, rollback among others.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently, everything pleases me, but there could be better and greater parallelism between the deployments. I know we can improve the plan, but currently, we only have two deployments at the same time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deploys super fast and simple, version control for dev, homologation for prod, approval for production release with just 1 click.

Checking for no console logs, running tests, etc. Prevents build errors and junk getting into master

I particularly like the automated workflows and on top of it, integration with third party apps like slack.

CircleCI offers a limited setting for encrypted files and maximum data on CircleCI is available for developers to access.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to solve our Continues Integration, testing and releases with the help of CircleCI. Having automated releases is the most beneficial thing for us.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would simply say 'Go for it, give it a try and you won't look back for anything else for you CI/build processes'.

Job sometime take too long to run. Job queue up behind other jobs. It would be better to run all these jobs without a limit, especially since it is on a business account
Another area for improvement would be to make the ssh easy to use. At the moment, you have to rebuild the job and enable ssh. However this is not great for flaky tests, which only sometimes fail
The webhooks to github also sometimes fail, which means that the result of the test never get sent to github. For this, I sometimes have to rerun the tests just to make sure the pull request is unblocked - which could be time consuming

Build pipeline, integrating github pull reviews with circleci. We block the merging of the pull requests if the build has failed

I would set up a free trial account and have a go. It works very nice and the docs are helpful

Ease of setup. Ability to handle both private and public repositories. The ability to add more resources for run tests was amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I was using the free tier. And the builds would stop due to the threshold set on the free tier builds.

I worked with a client on who valued privacy of their code. Circle CI was able to do provide privacy and trust while I developed world-class features for this client.
