What do you like best about the product?
I use Kiteworks to share and manage files with my team and clients. I like that it prevents unauthorized access and keeps confidential information safe. The access controls are well detailed, and the audit tracking is cool too.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's cool but the interface can look overwhelming for new users. The initial setup was manageable but it took some time to understand all the features.

I like the strong security features in Kiteworks, like encryption and access controls, which make sharing sensitive files safer. Its compliance-focused tools are really valuable for meeting regulatory requirements. I also appreciate how it works smoothly with existing tools, and it was quick to get accounts up and running. Switching from Box to Kiteworks was a good decision because of better security controls, compliance-focused features, and more granular access permissions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I want more improvements control over things like folder structures, branding options, and custom workflows. I also think clearer admin controls for permissions and security are needed. It would be great to have pre-built integrations with common tools like Office and Salesforce, along with detailed documentation and support available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kiteworks keeps our sensitive data secure, helps us meet compliance regulations like GDPR and HIPAA, controls access to shared files, and simplifies collaboration without needing email.

Kiteworks solves problem of the security sharing sensitive files and information. It reduces the risk of data leaks, gives better control over access, and ensures compliance. This helps our team collaborate safely and confidently without worrying about security issues.
Unbeatable Compliance and Integration

I really like Kiteworks for its secure file sharing which makes handling sensitive information way less stressful. The audit trails and compliance features are great, making compliance a breeze by tracking who accessed or shared files, providing clear visibility on file activity. The integration with Office 365 is a big plus as well, allowing users to work seamlessly without having to jump through hoops, and it makes for smooth data exchanges and compliance tracking across platforms. The transition to Kiteworks from Accellion was pretty smooth, fitting our needs better with better compliance features and data tracking. Also, the initial setup was absolutely easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app UX could be smoother. Sometimes it feels like the desktop version is more intuitive. I would love more customization options for permissions too.

The integrations, especially with Office 365, are excellent, allowing easy sharing of files directly from Outlook or Teams. It provides peace of mind with its robust security for sharing sensitive data externally. The version control feature is handy as it tracks changes even when files are shared externally. I also appreciate that users don't need extra logins, it just works.

UI navigation can be a bit clunky. Would love more customization for compliance templates and more flexible reporting.
