Secure, User-Friendly, and Collaborative

  • January 20, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What stands out most about Kiteworks is its commitment to security, user-friendly design, and robust collaboration features. I appreciate the strong emphasis on data protection, with encryption for both data at rest and in transit, which significantly enhances security for sensitive information. The intuitive user interface is designed with user experience in mind, making navigation straightforward even for those who may not be tech-savvy. I also like the seamless collaboration tools, such as real-time document editing and version control, which help eliminate confusion and streamline project workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Here are some potential areas for improvement in Kiteworks: 1. Learning Curve for Advanced Features While the user interface is intuitive, some of the more advanced features may require additional training or guidance. Users unfamiliar with collaboration tools might find it challenging to leverage the full capabilities without support. 2. Performance Issues with Large Files Users may experience delays or performance issues when uploading or sharing extremely large files. Enhancing the platform’s ability to handle large data transfers more efficiently could improve the overall experience. 3. Limited Customization Options Customization features for the interface or user preferences can feel limited. Offering more options would allow teams to tailor the experience to their specific needs and preferences.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Kiteworks for secure file sharing and real-time collaboration, ensuring data security with encryption and supporting regulatory compliance, like HIPAA and GDPR. It resolves version control issues and enhances workflow efficiency.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Kiteworks because it has a strong focus on security with full visibility and control, especially when sharing data outside the organization. Its biggest strength is that every file, email, or transfer is encrypted and governed, which allows organizations to control who accesses data, for how long, and under what conditions. We switched to Kiteworks to improve security, compliance, and visibility over sensitive data exchanges.

The interface feels dated and less intuitive, especially for new or non-technical users.

Top-Tier Security with Room for UI Improvement

  • January 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Kiteworks takes security seriously, offering strong encryption in transit and at rest, granular access controls, and multi-factor authentication. This gives me confidence that sensitive data is protected, even when sharing with external partners. It's a huge relief knowing that files aren’t floating around unprotected on regular email or consumer cloud drives. I appreciate how well Kiteworks works alongside several other tools we use, mainly as a secure layer on top of our existing systems. The documentation and onboarding resources were also helpful during the setup. Once the core configuration was completed, the platform was stable and easy to manage.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface can feel complex. While Kiteworks is very powerful, the interface can feel a bit overwhelming at first—especially for new or non-technical users. Some workflows require extra clicks, and it takes time to fully understand where certain settings or features live. A more modern, intuitive UI or guided onboarding would help reduce the learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Kiteworks to securely share sensitive documents, preventing interception and unauthorized access. It provides encrypted, secure file sharing, protecting private data end-to-end. What stands out is its top-tier security features, like strong encryption and multi-factor authentication, ensuring data safety even with external sharing.
