The easy of use matters while you are have to share data and track activities with non-technical users and Kiteworks provides this in paralel with high security standards. This last part is high value for us.

I did not found issues (yet).

Exchanging confidential data with third parties with a excelent level of security and full controll.

What do you like best about the product?
Koteworks has great and clean user interface. Kiteworks effective manages risk and protects your highly confidential data/files from inadvertent exposure. It is being used since long time and has a brand name in the market. It has a great security and good amount of features. It allows multiple sharing in one go.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing of kiteworks is on the higher side. Being expensive make the software little unaccessible.

Kiteworks allows us to share the file securely providing a safe environment. Kiteworks is an easy and apt software for file transfer. It is robust.
Streamlined global file sharing with user-friendly interface and self-service capabilities
What is our primary use case?
I use it for sharing. We have a major US client, and they use it to share files between internal users. They have different data centers and hosted sites, and when someone wants to share files between these data centers, they use it for that purpose. We also have externally faced sites located in different regions. When they want to connect with external domain users or partners to share any files or emails, they use it.
What is most valuable?
I like most features, yet I cannot recollect them all exactly. One thing I can say is that I can identify from which region our users are uploading or downloading files. I have a very nice view to check that.
It integrates with external SSO, like Okta, which means I don't need to ask an external user to create a user account; they can register using SSO authentication.
It reduces the effort of the site administrator. This feature was not available earlier, however, we implemented it recently, which reduced administrative efforts significantly.
What needs improvement?
I'm not a network expert, however, there must be some room for improvement. Perhaps there could be a notification to users about their bandwidth or network packet loss. If users receive such notifications, they can understand any disruptions are due to issues with their network or bandwidth rather than the site or Kiteworks.
Additionally, I work from offshore India, and I told my client manager to communicate with the Kiteworks forum salesman regarding one feature. I noticed the Kiteworks login UI is very basic, lacking customization. Allowing more HTML tags to add hyperlinks or user-friendly information on the home page would be very useful.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have used this solution for more than two and a half years or three years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The solution works, however, there are cases where end users face issues with Kiteworks, possibly due to network glitches or packet drops. These issues can interrupt transfers.
Although it resolves most issues, if there is any case like a destination site or source site losing connection, it causes interruption to the file transfer. It's best to keep updated or apply patches as they release fixes for vulnerabilities or bugs.
Sometimes, fixes may be delayed, and workarounds might be shared until permanent fixes are released. Keeping up to date with patches and following vendor guidelines ensures fewer issues.
However, some of our sites maintain older versions due to downtime challenges, leading to bugs. In those cases, we follow Kiteworks updates to fix that. Keeping up to date with the software version ensures good stability.
How are customer service and support?
Technical support has improved significantly compared to one and a half or two years ago. They respond well, and their support portal is actively maintained. However, reaching a technical resource via their call center takes some time.
How was the initial setup?
It is quite simple as these are appliances with limited access managed by Kiteworks. They help and guide me, so there aren't any issues with that.
What other advice do I have?
Scalability is impressive. It can be highly available, resilient, and scalable infrastructure. I can confidently give it a nine. It suits any level of organization, whether a small setup with two appliances or a globally located organization with multiple sites.
Having a front-facing site with back-end nodes deployed in different regions is possible. If the client environment involves non-technical users who need to share files securely, Kiteworks is the best solution. It has a rich user interface that allows nontechnical users to use the tool effectively. Initially, there may be some learning curve, yet it becomes easier over time.
Overall, I would give the solution an eight out of ten due to its interactive UI, which I find superior to others I've experienced like MFT and Globals.

Ease of use when it comes to the admin UI + being able to reach out to support for any questions and they respond rather quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The unpredictablility of the system. Things that should work dont always work which end up causing more issues down the line.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kiteworks provides us a safe, secure, and easy way to send and receive data to internal and external users in a more efficient process. Since we work with a lot of third party vendors sending data back and forth with Kiteworks removes the additional work of providing them access to an internal system. The ability to give users access via just their email solves the problem of having to open our internal systems.

Kiteworks is very easy to use. User interface is clean and modern. Kiteworks support and technical staff is very knowledgeble and very experianced with the sustem and industry.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of a downside of using Kiteworks. One item to consider improving on is Project Management. We just did a migration from on-prem to hosted and it would have been nice for the Kiteworks team to have a "playbook/project plan" to share with client to better understand the work it takes. Kiteworks team is very knowledgeble and experianced in this domain, but as a client I dod not kno what to expect and how it was going to play out.

What do you like best about the product?
It gives us options to customize a lot of settings to fit our governance needs, user experience is pretty straight forward.
What do you dislike about the product?
Almost every time I've reached out to customer / technical support, it is not a good experience and I try and avoid contacting as much as possible. I work in an internal IT department for a law firm, and 90% of my calls with support are them overexplaining processes that I already understand that have nothing to do with finding a resolution to the issue raised.

It is exceptionally simple to utilize and may be an exceedingly versatile arrangement for record exchange. It makes a difference in overseeing records for different ventures. I utilize this for our clients and offer assistance to them to share critical records over different areas. It makes a difference with collaboration and records can be shared with partners. It makes a difference to me to keep these overhauled all the time. When it works, it is simple to safely send records and organizers to other individuals.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't fair join a record the old-fashioned way and send it as you have got to begin a entire modern mail. There were often bugs where emails got stuck within the outbox. The failure to utilize pictures within the signature square.

Great instrument to share secure records and joining with Dropbox instrument. Gives a way to send records safely and effortlessly. Better than average stage when it comes to record sharing and e-mail compression. Not each aiming recipient's e-mail server capacity can suit gigantic connections. Incredible computer program to oversee reports and fundamentally for collaborating with other clients.

Its security features, including end to end encryption and that the deletion of message automatically, is really great for us as we knows our data is safe at every step. At our workplace kiteworks we use from long time to share sensitive information such as credentials over mail securely. Some pros i can mention-

Kiteworks solving our concern of secure information sharing, it benefiting us by providing a platform which is safe, messages are end-to-end encrypted and gets removed in a certain timeline. Easy to use. Highly recommended.
