Top Notch Virtual Private Network
What do you like best about the product?
NordVPN allows you something extremely useful with such ease i.e, connecting to a secure virtual private network with features such as blocking malware, viruses and corrupted websites and almost no compromises on the speed. Our organization uses the multiple device logins feature which works smoothly. In an investigation firm, masking IPs is a crucial feature. If i had to choose another great example is the extension of Nord on chrome and edge which works absolutely with no hassles incase you do not want to go with the application
What do you dislike about the product?
The configuration for NordVPN if setup manually is not friendly and has a complex method that takes a good turnaround to understand. The random server connection provides you the fastest connection but in case you set up the connection manually the internet connection might fluctuate. Random disconnection can shut down your apps which you have configured to only open under VPN conditions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our Organization uses NordVPN to perform due diligence on entities while masking our IP and by providing access to content related to a specific region. It also has no log feature which is crucial to our investigation process for compliance policies.
Reliable Security, Ease of Connectivity, Occasional Lag
What do you like best about the product?
Nord gives me peace of mind with the secure information I handle each day as a part of my role. The mobile app and the desktop app for Mac both usually connect seamlessly, and the simple, clean, intuitive interface is a nice perk. I also appreciate the ability to easily switch from a server in one countr to another.
What do you dislike about the product?
I experience occasional lag with some websites, and I experience other errors where sites will not load at all. I do not know whether to attribute this to Nord itself or the sites themselves (maybe they block VPNs?). Nord also logs out relatively frequently, and the login process is circuitous. I would prefer it to save my login information longer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I handle secure information daily. By using NordLayer on all my company devices, I’m able to remain secure whether I’m in the office, on 5G/mobile data, in a coffee shop, at an airport, or wherever. Thank you, NordLayer!
NordLayer VPN. Easy to user and Effective.
What do you like best about the product?
NordLayer is a simple, out-of-the-box solution for managing your team's VPN needs. Once configured, you're able to quickly activate the VPN, change locations, and make your traffic private.
What do you dislike about the product?
We experienced some initial confusion when making the transition from NordVPN to NordVPN Teams. With the rebranding of Teams to NordLayer, this did result in the need for a little more re-education of the team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a VPN solution, this allows our team to work in anonymity while working remotely. We are a fully remote and distributed team that works from home offices, coffee shops, or an AirBnB. Having a simple and effective VPN has given the security-minded individuals within the Org peace of mind.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
NordVPN is a known quantity. NordLayer allows for simple and easy account provisioning for your Organization as you onboard and offboard users.
Nord - A true Virtual Network
What do you like best about the product?
Nord allows me to connect specific virtual private networks without compromising the speed and pings. I have been using it professionally for two years and personally for four years, and it has never disappointed me or annoyed me yet. Professionally it helps me to conduct specific region research, also allowing me to narrow results or broaden them. It also bypasses the network/country based websites blocked by a firewall. It's a lifesaver in my daily research.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. Professionally in my work, I have never faced any issues with the app. Also, with the minor modifications in the UI, it feels smooth and good to look at.
I use it to play games that are region blocked, and pings might vary, but that doesn't hold for a very long time and stabilizes quickly.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our organization conducts specific region-based research, and the same query run even in google with a different region gives out different results. Nord helps us breaking that barrier and letting us conduct investigations by a very secure virtual private network.
Waste of TIME, MONEY & NERVES
What do you like best about the product?
Nothing working. My team had issues using this and reached out to support multiple times, still NO solution but still paying!

Do not use Nordlayer, especially in the transition from NordVPN to Nordlayer, customer service was miserable and transition had MANY flaws

Fastest: I'm working on a mobile-only project working in another country, and I get things done with NordVPN without any speed issues.
Stable: I don't experience internet drops.
Cheap: I use premium membership, and its price is cheap compared to similar apps.

Great tool for setting up a company wide VPN for WFH staff
What do you like best about the product?
Very simple to install and set up to connect to my company gateway - just click the link my system admin had sent. It runs unobtrusively in the background and easy access via a system tray icon whenever I need to connect or disconnect.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only problem is that sometimes I forget I am still connected and this will create lag / problems when doing things like a Google Meets call

Due to my job, I have to be constantly on the move, which means I end up constantly connecting to public networks to perform some kind of task or contact someone important. Since I started using NORDVPN, I feel more confident because I know my data and information are secure.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little to say in this section, as it lacks major issues to deal with. And if that is the case, it has a very good support service, where the attention provided is undoubtedly impeccable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This has allowed me, during the time I enjoyed the service, to bypass all the restrictions I had regarding those applications that only opened to certain IPs that were registered as frequent or those that only did so from home. Since it offers a similarity of providing the user with access to any application or website in a more objective way, so that they don't have to wait to reach a specific site to do so, but rather I do it directly in a centralized way and with the full knowledge that I will do it safely.
Fast, reliable and affordable...
What do you like best about the product?
I researched several VPN apps and many of them caused my system to slow down considerably thereby hindering my work. NordVPN shows little to no slow-down when using and doesn't affect my creative software at all. I've used other software (as I mentioned) and they caused Adobe Photoshop to crash, simply due to the RAM overload on my laptop. And it's worth mentioning that their support is 100% responsive!
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not come across a dislike of there service at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed a solution specifically for a client project I was taking on last year and the client was very overly cautious regarding his confidential information being shared over wifi's. Since using NordVPN I now always use it whenever I am having to use a public wifi.

It's user-friendly, fast, affordable and the customer service support team is top-notch.

What do you like best about the product?
The system we use to improve our speed and in addition to maintaining company security is NordVPN with this system we can not only improve at the time of being able to investigate in a much more secure way but we can also increase the speed of our usual internet The system has different servers that allow us to connect to any IP, hiding our main one, thus giving us an encryption to be able to navigate in a much more secure way, I am happy with the system because it is a simple and fast application.
What do you dislike about the product?
I must indicate that the system works in a very pleasant way and I do not have any negative point about it, however I have a negative point about it some servers have failed at the moment of being able to connect to the IP I do not know how it encrypts correctly so our Data is still insecure, optimization is the best decision for the page to be much safer when browsing and eliminate this type of servers that damage its use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For us it was an innovative system because we can connect and navigate in a more optimal way, also it is only to download the system software and immediately be able to use the service it is possible to connect any type of server has many countries and different with its speed, which is very optimal to be able to improve ours and also without showing the original the system gives us security when browsing and it is very noticeable since we are going to send documents, receive or simply download any document in a much more secure way, I am happy because it has worked , which is enough for us.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend the service because it provides viable solutions for the improvement of our company, in addition to that it is possible to send and receive documents without any type of information theft problem, so for us it has been a great pleasant point to be able to keep the information safe, I am happy because it works in a correct and safe way, we recommend it.
