Intuitive pro-code tool that aids rapid ui & workflow development backed by 5* customer support
What do you like best about the product?
Superblocks is a really intuitive pro-code tool that allows for rapid prototype development of UI's and workflows. Access to backend resources is facilitated via the use of integrations that enable different resources to be seamlessly connected during the development and deployment process. There are lot of features available out of the box which provide most of the functionalilty required; however, being a pro-code tool, it is easy to integrate scripts to carry out more specialised functionality.
In addition to having one of the best documentation sets I've seen for software, the customer support from Superblocks is first rate if any questions arise.

What do you dislike about the product?
The ability to reuse api blocks across different ui's isn't available currently, nor is the visibility relating to which integration is used by which UI or workflow. That said, Superblocks are making great progress in providing the tools that would be expected as part of any development workflow so I've no doubt these improvements will be coming in the near future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Superblocks is helping us as a team to rapidly build and deploy responsive applications into a production environment, connecting via rest api's to the underlying data sources and existing api's, without having to rely on access to engineering resources within the company.
Using Superblocks to Build Product Prototypes
What do you like best about the product?
Superblocks has a number of great features. A few that I often use:
- The ability to add any react component to the UI with a few lines of code is invaluable. Not only does superblocks have great documentation and a tutorial on how to add custom UI components, but once you deploy a custom component it can be used by the rest of the team. This has allowed us to build great prototyping products without being blocked on UI.
- Superblocks has an AI tool that can generate javascript and python code simply by me typing what code I need to generate. I have found this feature to be a huge productivity multiplier and the code generation is quite good.
- Workflows are immensly valuable and have allowed our team to build custom API endpoints that can be easily called by our application, TWILIO webhooks, etc.
- Overall, superblocks has given us a tool that allows us to rapidly develop prototypes, pushing our product and product discovery processing forward.

What do you dislike about the product?
Superblocks is definitely adding to its feature set, but it does currently have some limitations and we have also had some minor bugs. The team is very quick to fix the bugs, which is a positive, and I'm sure this will continue to get better over time. Having more "out of the box" UI components, as well as some additional features like dedicated databases would be nice to have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Superblocks is allowing us to quickly build product prototypes that we can deploy in the field, allowing us to get initial product ideas in front of our end users. We can spin up UIs at an extremely quick pace, which has helped us push our product forward.
A really promising tool
What do you like best about the product?
Superblocks is powerful, easy to use, and lets us spin up backend workflows and apps with ease. It provides a nice layer of abstraction ontop of what would be a very complicated serverless tech stack. I utilize workflows the most to spin up light weight scripts that I call from other apps like Airtable or Slack. Team is very supportive and open minded.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the biggest cons of Superblocks are 1) Its UI can get cluttered when you make a lot of apps and workflows, 2) It doesn't support more robust typed languages like Typescript, 3) Latency can be *very* high for both UI and backend workflows, 4) Light mode IDE...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great for point solutions where you just need to regularly run a script, or for basic backend web dev tasks. It saves a ton of time.
Great low code tool
What do you like best about the product?
Flexible pricing, simple interface, and good feature set.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are missing compared to competitors but catching up fast.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great for building production support apps, dev tooling, and quick experiments.
Great value for easy implementation
What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity of the implementation and the flexibility it provides for solving complex use cases
What do you dislike about the product?
Audit logs can be more informative about the action performed.
Authentication can be made more simple

Replacing our in-house back office and providing our support the ability to build tools with low code
Easy to get started and excellent support, a rare find!
What do you like best about the product?
I am a novice backend developer who needs to quickly prototype AI applications for internal use without having to create an entire front-end from scratch. I tried a few different low-code platforms and Superblocks is my clear favorite because the UX on their platform just makes sense to my brain, so I've been able to jump in. I've only been using it a week or two, but already it has been very easy for me to add different APIs and databases to my project and then connect them to pre-designed UI components, with just snippets of JS to glue them all together. I just finished my first demo app that uses the OpenAI API and I am excited about what I can build next. But for me, the very best thing about Superblocks has been the support -- very quick , friendly, knowledgable, and helpful!
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the documentation and walkthroughs could be improved, at least for newer devs like me. A few times I have had ask the help desk a question that I feel could have been covered in the docs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm creating internal tools that pull in data from APIs and databases and then allow my users to "chat" with their data using ChatGPT. I don't want to spend a lot of time on the front right now, I just need it to work, and Superblocks is ideas for that. They have an OpenAI connector and a chat window component that make it relatively easy to snap things together with a bit of JS glue.
Easy to use platform with great customer support
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is very easy to use. Getting simple applications up and running is a very quick process that even someone with relatively low technical knowledge of web developement can handle. The customer support team is also very helpful and responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The on-prem hosting option is not really a fully on-prem setup. Instead the front-end and authentication is served through SB cloud, while the underlying data and api calls are served through the on-prem agent. I can see some advantages to a hybrid structure like this, but it may also not be ideal for all use cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team needed a way to build simple inernal tooling applications that enabled various teams throughout the company to interact with our rest api product. We didn't want to consume engineering resources to build our own custom web apps to do this enablement, so we use superblocks so that a few people with technical backgrounds outside of the engineering team can build out what their teams need without bogging down the engineers.
Perfect tool for building internal admin apps.
What do you like best about the product?
For me, as a backend/API developer with minimal UI development experience, it was surprisingly easy to start using Superblocks and build my first application. The platform itself doesn't require any specific knowledge to get started. The variety of standard "Integrations" covers almost all possible types of data sources, so in most cases, you don't need to adjust your backend API to use it in Superblocks. For more advanced scenarios, such as asynchronous long-running queries, there is a "Workflows" feature that provides you with more flexible control over how you retrieve or process data.
What truly sets Superblocks apart is the exceptional customer support I have received. The team's dedication, responsiveness, and expertise have exceeded my expectations. Whenever I encountered challenges or had questions, the support team was quick to provide clear and helpful solutions.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are still some minor things that need to be improved or fixed. Additionally, it would be nice to have greater flexibility in the customization of standard components.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's much simpler and more time-effective to build internal tools using Superblocks than developing them from scratch.
Fast way to make convenient UI
What do you like best about the product?
We use Superblocks as the frontend of our internal "backoffice" administrative tool and it's a near-perfect fit. It gives us the ability to quicky expose new functionalities to our Support and Complience teams in a pretty and convinient way for them.
Especially easy and usefull is displaying data in tables, where Superblocks assumes the columns from the data itself + the build in ability to download the data as a CSV from any table.

What do you dislike about the product?
Although it is a low-code solution, you still need people to have a significant amount of coding experience to be able to set up things properly and to not make a mess of things.
Another way it's lacking a bit behind in what our organization is used to is environment selection (when using staging vs production) and deployments of new features.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Superblocks gives us the ability to have a UI without most of the pains of actually supporting that UI
A good choice for internal apps development, better than Retool
What do you like best about the product?
Superblocks has been a game-changer in how we build and deploy internal tools. As a backend devloper in a business company, we do not have much professional frontend dev resources to invest in internal app development. Thanks to superblocks, with its intuitive drag-and-drop interface and devleoper-friendly product experience , it greatly simplifies front-end development for us. Even with my very limited front-end expertise, I've been able to quickly create feature-rich internal apps and put them into production, such as database admin panels, BI reports site, and some little but useful dev tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Superblocks would be even better if it supported the following features:
- Multi-page app (with page navigation components like menu bars) support
- More out-of-box pre-built UI & logic components.
- Built-in SQL database and file storage, without integration.
- Support Java or Groovy as a backend coding language, which is widely adopted in our company.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Superblocks has been dramatically accelerating our development and depolyment cycles of our internal apps. It's particularly useful for teams like us, which lack front-end development talents and skills. And after some research and try-outs, we think its better than alternatives like Retool. For example, it has concept of "Backend API", which in fact is a convenient flow orchestraion of backend logic, and act exactly like what we backend developer expect: backend API, with not that much hidden magic.
