Easy Setup, Great for App Ownership Clarity

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find it very useful that Nudge Security tells me who's the first person who used an app. It’s nice that it gives me a full list of users in the company who use that app. I also like the aspect of app ownership, as it helps in addressing misinformation of points of contact. Setting it up was pretty easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The status of people using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Nudge Security to identify application ownership and solve misinformation about points of contact. It tells me who first used an app and provides a full list of company users for each app.

Nudge Security Delivers Exceptional Visibility Into Our Digital Ecosystem

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The most significant advantage of Nudge Security is the visibility it provides into our digital ecosystem. It allows us to proactively identify shadow IT and unmanaged services that would otherwise create significant security blind spots and compliance risks.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, the frequency of the automated nudges can lead to alert fatigue among the engineering team. Fine-tuning the cadence of these communications is essential to ensure they remain helpful rather than intrusive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of manual audits. We don't have to hunt for apps anymore. This saves us time.

Colorful UI and a Search Bar That Finds Anything

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
ui looks very colorful and searchbar works for anything, its very useful
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not say what role each user has, like I would like to know if someone has admin on X platform so i can reach out and get some help i get asked to give that access
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It tells me which user has access to which platform. It’s beneficial for my role in tech support because we get asked a lot about granting access, and sometimes we don’t have access ourselves. With Nudge, we can see who actually has access.

Simplifies SaaS Security Management Brilliantly

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the simplicity of Nudge Security. It's great because it sits there in the background, keeping tabs on all sorts of users, allowing me to see what they are signing up for and providing an audit trail from a security and compliance perspective. Additionally, being able to handle proactive tasks with the nudges, like informing users about the AI policy when they sign up for an AI tool, is quite helpful. The single sign-on ability is also very useful; it prompts people who sign up for a new application to integrate it within our security estate quickly, increasing the overall security level. Setting it up was very easy, which was surprising, and it was fascinating to see how many people received welcome emails from SaaS providers they'd already signed up for.
What do you dislike about the product?
I guess if we're pushing for something, it would be having some kind of sign-up form for unknown SaaS apps. It would help us understand why someone is signing up for something and ensure that the terms and conditions with that new provider are understood and captured within Nudge Security.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Nudge Security to monitor SaaS applications, preventing scope creep and ensuring awareness of sign-ups. It keeps an audit trail for security exposure, offers simplicity with audit trails, proactive nudges, and single sign-on, boosting security.

Improves Process, Security, and Efficiency Massively

  • May 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Nudge Security has a fantastic user interface making it easy to digest, find and sort through what could be an extremely large amount of information about tools in use.
It's amazing just how efficient it is at finding everything and correctly cataloguing it.
The ability to look up suppliers policies and accreditations has saved us so much time, and supply chain feature is brilliant in highlighting potential areas of concern. But that fact that it notifies me if one of our suppliers has a breach in their supply chain is just *chefs kiss. So often I would have to keep an ear out for breaches and back trace them, now Nudge does that for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
When trialing I noticed that it had identified a bunch of people as "technical contact" for tools, but I could not understand why as some of the people had very little to do with the product. It was then explained to me in a demo that its based on things like who has interacted with their support team the most, which now does make a bit more sense, but in most cases I have had to change the technical contact to the department head, or most often myself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It almost completely solves our shadow IT problem, obviously if a tool is just downloaded and has no account then it's not captured by Nudge Security but for 99% of our things it is capturing them. Meaning we now know what is actually out there in use.
It also has dramatically sped up our software approval process because we can see what people are trialing, then can tell us easily if its not going ahead, and if it is we have quick access to all the relevant information we need to approve or deny it from a security and compliance POV. This has saved hours of each software approval, of which we have about 1 a week, and also has dramatically improved the process and speed for the users making them happier and more efficient.
The transparency of this new process and understanding has also made the relationship between InfoSec and our users much better as well.

Robust tool on the rise!

  • January 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The sales team was fantastic to work with. They quickly brought the right experts onto calls to demo the product, answer my questions, and share their vision for the product's future. I also appreciated how open they were to hearing my thoughts, suggestions, and concerns.

Nudge is a well-designed and thoughtfully developed solution for securing our SaaS environment. It identified more SaaS applications than any other product we trialed, giving us greater visibility and confidence in our security posture.

The setup process was incredibly straightforward, and the ability to start with an easy, no-commitment free trial was a game-changer.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a newer company in an emerging market, they are still developing a couple features that larger competitors might already offer. However, they’re actively working on these, making it a very short-term gap. Their strengths far outweigh their minor short-term shortcomings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nudge is helping us find all the SaaS products we don't know about, the non-managed identities used in those SaaS apps and is helping us to start to understand the cost of SaaS in our organization.

Immediate value and easy standup

  • September 01, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I've had a consistently positive experience with Nudge Security. Its standout feature for me is the swift deployment and the immediate, tangible benefits it brings. Its integration with gmail allows for a comprehensive inventory sweep, often faster and better than network-based / proxy solutions.

Every time I have used it at clients, we have uncovered previously undetected services. The fact that even the free version provides such an insightful snapshot of your inventory is commendable.
What do you dislike about the product?
For organizations aiming to effect a genuine shift in their security culture, Nudge is a potent catalyst.

However, it's essential to recognize that tools like Nudge are facilitators, not magic wands. Just installing the software won't redefine your culture.

Cultivating a security-conscious culture requires an organizational commitment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cultural change. I wouldn't really call it a Cloud Access Security Broker - that is a bit more broad. Rather it provides a rapid inventory without having to route through a CASB.
