The best API design & specification tool
What do you like best about the product?
The API designing tools make the developers more productive, In that raw using SwaggerHub with its open API support makes life easier. The best about SwaggerHub is it supports a wide range of APIs such as REST, SOAP, GraphQL, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a design tool, SwaggerHub is doing a great job in its fundamental areas. But there are still a few areas for improvement. A few of them are API specification version controlling, collaboration with the team, and mocking APIs
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a developer who is working with a lot of API development and integrations between systems, I have been using SwaggerHub for most of my API design, testing & review tasks. SwaggerHub makes my work way easier by simply giving me the ability to share the OpenAPI specifications. Also, the autogenerating documentation from the source saves a lot of time which allows me to stay focused on the implementation rather than documenting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend SwaggerHub for anyone who is looking for automation of API documenting or designing flow. The value it brings is significant which helps us to stay more productive.

What do you like best about the product?
Easier documentation and sample code snippets to help the developer identify all attribute and optional ones to make successful request and getting the rest response
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a little hard to identify the difference between the 2.0 and 3.0 versions differences. Also, the free version is a bit limited for teams. Exporting public is also not possible
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can create public documentation as the backend developer of my team, team members can implement updated and new endpoints without having to explain or have meetings

What do you like best about the product?
WE CAN CREATE API MOCKS AUTOMATICALLY WHILE WRITING THE DOCUMENTATION. ITS MUCH MORE DETAILED DOCUMENTATION WITH A SCRIPT WHERE YOU CAN MENTION THE PARAMETER TYPE AND SAMPLE VALUE.
What do you dislike about the product?
IT TAKES A LITTLE BIT MORE TIME TO CREATE DOCUMENTATION WITH SWAGGER AS COMPARED TO OTHER TOOLS LIKE SLATE, POSTMAN WHICH ARE VERY EASY BUT LESS FEATURED. WITH SWAGGER, YOU NEED TO LEARN ABOUT THE SWAGGER LANGUAGE.

WITH SWAGGERHUB, WE HAVE VERY DETAILED DOCUMENTATION, WHICH SAVES THE TIME TO MAKE FRONTEND DEVELOPERS UNDERSTAND OR GIVE A DEMO OF API. WITH SWAGGER, THEY CAN JUST RUN THE API AND CHECK THE RESPONSE.

I am able to integrate swagger with GitLab and use the web portral to unit test api on the go.

We cannot define events that can be created or used by API.
Nice to have the ability to download the documentation in usable formats or within the format we like.
Writing test cases are more comfortable in POSTMAN.

We use swagger mainly for API documentation; Swagger is more user-friendly so that the freshers, as well as non-developers, can easily use and understand swagger. It also helps streamline the development especially sharing APIs across multiple departments & developers.

If you are a fresher and getting starting with API development you can consider using swagger.

How hard it is to design APIs. With Swagger, i can design APIs and reuse my components on different projects
Standards driven faster APIs
What do you like best about the product?
We have the team account of Swagger Hub and love the ease of documentation enabled by the standardized nature of Swagger. Our developer tools are complete with Swagger and Postman!
What do you dislike about the product?
We wished Swagger has more capabilities like Postman, to enable live coding against APIs and inbrowser debugging for experimental APIs. We love the nature of its development and I think it will be close to it soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Swagger enables API development and documentation by conforming to REST APIs. We are also investigating with our GraphQL APIs will be enabled by it.

Highly recommend starting with Swagger for Standards Driven API development.

What do you like best about the product?
As an API consumer, you can extract the definitions of APIs and use it. For any API design, documentation is critical than the code because all developers will focus on documents; only Swaggerhub has a great facility to build documents.
Ability to create organizations is very helpful. For example, if you are working for multiple orgranizations you can easily have track of your work independently.

What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface might be confusing for the new developers. I have seen some of the API documentations contain junk characters as well. So a lot of work is required in that area. Also, API testing is not possible.

Consuming the API's designed by third parties into my applications.
