Love ThoughtSpot!
What do you like best about the product?
It organizes all of my data and helps put it into reports and graphs that are easier to understand
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not really found anything yet that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us see where our weak spots are and where there is potential for growth.

Bad experience with thoughtspot for large company
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that there is a small tuto when connecting for the first time into the application. It allows new users to get familiar to the platform
What do you dislike about the product?
Basic features are not possible: Change liveaboard ownership, control permission at scale, last modification owner, last modification date, and version control.
In a word of Data catalog, there is no way to connect to metadata or get proper data lineage.

What do you like best about the product?
Thoughtspot allows our users to access insights themselves without the friction of a development cycle. The rapid access allows us to solve problems faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing right now - the Thoughtspot consulting and sales team has helped us solve all challenges.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am primarily responsible for manufacturing analytics
from weeks to seconds
What do you like best about the product?
time saving for bi developers and end-users to get answers in seconds. live boards replace powerpoint presentations.
What do you dislike about the product?
data is accessible in every way to everybody instead of vetted/approved dashboards displaying accurate data. if your data is not accurate and users are not familiar with it they cant spot errors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
adhoc requests can be reduced to a minimum, dashboards become obsolete so quickly when you have new questions.
It's so easy even the most hesitant users are into it
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use of ThoughtSpot is amazing. No technical skills required at all. A quick 30 minute session is all it takes to get uses going!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything in the product. I'm eagerly awaiting additional features though!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were challenged with a large backlog of data demands. By using ThoughtSpot we have been able to move most of this demand back to the requestor. That not only saves us time and money in the analyst/IT area, it also increased benefits on business side by having insights at the right time at the right place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't overthink starting... start small grow fast worked wonders for us (including failing fast and adjust)

Market awareness of the solution / the education on the product overall vs. the mention.

Executive self-service of their departments. Enabling citizen analysts

Great product for self-service ambitions. Can quickly give citizen data scientists and executives alike the ability to write queries via natural language.

The keynotes, meeting with ThoughtSpot employees and executives

The breakout sessions were a little high-level and not very actionable. Sessions led by ThoughtSpot employees were the best (Intro to Embed, Roadmap)

We use ThoughtSpot to solve issues AppleCare, Retail, and Sales biz areas. Speed has been the biggest benefit for those users early on.

What do you like best about the product?
Product is very well designed, lots of powerful functionality, easy to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product itself is great! I want to get a clearer picture of the business case that helps my organization move from legacy BI to this next generation software.

The people and the community aspect. I'm learning so much!

I cant say i dislike anything. This has been great and i do not have any complaints.

I am in marketing, so i dont have problems that can be solved through thoughtspot per say, but so far so great! loving the learning process.
