What do you like best about the product?
the visualizations that get generated based on the data along with the API and SDK
What do you dislike about the product?
the cost is high for the use cases. Should also work directly out of mongo db as well.

Uploading via CSV is going away soon - this option was helpful

We have data for our Sales Execs and partners at their fingertips. It is more real-time for all interested parties.

What do you like best about the product?
Allows the user to get to very granular details.
What do you dislike about the product?
TS does not match similar search functionality as able on Google search (asking a simple question).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Testing POCs at this time to pinpoint demand forecast opportunities at a market/store level.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to explore using a common language for the end-user community that is not data scientists or SQL coders. Enabling others to be curious!
What do you dislike about the product?
The formulas can be complex when trying to analyze data/group data so essentially you need to learn how to build formulas which can be challenging for the general user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Demand forecasting opportunities, the democratization of data so everyone can be their own business analyst, empowering the end-user to be curious...and the results are increased productivity that is driving KPI and financial improvement

Drill down everywhere, great AI component, super user friendly thanks to a google like search experience
What do you dislike about the product?
probably may be more good looking in terms of charts, but it seems new stuff is coming out soon

real self service BI for business users may benefits both business teams and BI experts at the same time.
additionally you don't have to worry about data volumes vs performances

What do you like best about the product?
The search-bar and drill-down everywhere. You can easily search on all you data in seconds, without sql experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UX experience is maybe the thing that a I dislike, but they are improving very quickly!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
You can permit to anyone to search on their own data, so it's democratizing the access to informations!

What do you like best about the product?
It's the fastest way for stakeholders to get answers they need and share them without bogging down analysts with ad hoc requests. Search + liveboards are the features that sold us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support tickets are sometimes slow to get addressed and solved. It would be nice if our stakeholders could more easily raise tickets on their own, but the account for ThoughtSpot Community is sometimes a barrier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ad hocs are facing a bottleneck in our limited number of analysts, but growing number of members of other teams. The benefit has already been that curious stakeholders can dig into what they want and that's everyone from developers to product managers to sales team members.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Involve key stakeholders in the demo stage of the process so that you have a glimpse of how to drive adoption and how easy it will be to get the answers different stakeholders seek.

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to get answers once we have the data set up. It is pretty fast as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to have the maps and some of the other visuals a bit more customizable. Another good feature to have is a filter option across the pinboard when a user click on visuals in the pinboard itself instead of using the filter options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Limited set of connectors, this got to expand else we are constrained where we can run ThoughtSpot on

What do you like best about the product?
With ThoughtSpot, users have much easier access to data. They're able to see data that, before, they may not even have known existed. This improves data literacy and allows new and different types of analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
There could be slightly easier functionality with copy/pasting out of ThoughtSpot in a table format. Sometimes there's ad hoc work that needs to be done on the fly in a spreadsheet
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ThoughtSpot allows me to be much more agile in my analysis of operational KPIs. As I forecast financially what I expect our business to deliver, I need granular data to understand impact of new SKUS, promotions, regions, pricing and loyalty.
