A good CMS/CRM with a lot of potential
What do you like best about the product?
HubDB is a great tool for updating a lot of content at once, global modules for different countries make it easy to show different pricing to our different customers, it's easy to see how specific users are interacting with the website. The user interface works very well and is very intuitive for new and long-time users alike.
What do you dislike about the product?
Experiencing some downtime (not always Hubspot's fault - thanks Cloudflare), but not always the most reliable service. The code editor and design manager can sometimes be a little buggy or unintuitive. Trying to work with frameworks like Vue.JS in Hubspot's code editor is almost impossible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most recently, we have been able to publish MSRP to our website with varying prices depending on region. This is a very useful feature of HubSpot that would have been much harder to integrate in other platforms that I typically use (like Wordpress). We have been able to get a good handle on who our customers are and what funnel they typically go through when navigating our site. Able to bring in a lot of conversions with Hubspot's helpful forms and Calls to Action
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do your research, watch a lot of videos and decide if this product is going to be valuable to you and worth it for the cost.
A solid and fast developting marketing automation platform
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to collaborate on a project (building websites, landing pages) with the team. Smart page/template builder using modular approach. And also, the contact lists and a workflow builder are really easy to work with. And you are able to combine several workflows into a one complex process. I wish they provided an option to use loops in workflows (I get that this might get a resource-heavy, but you can set some smarter limits to put that under control).
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes UI is too simplified and overthinked - I would like to have some functionality and buttons available right on the page, instead of looking for it in a hidden panes. Some of the validation error messages are not described in API documentation (imagine, I am trying to override an error message to a number field with minimum and maximume values set - I could not find anything to override that message).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating our lead process, email communications, hosting and growing our website, testing landing pages etc.
Great tool
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that you track and analyze your campaign's data thanks to the analytics tool!
What do you dislike about the product?
I tried to share different formats to see what works best for my audience but we can't share GIFs via hubspot. We can only share classic formats (video, photos, text).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps a lot managing my inbound campaign, it leaves me time to do more things
The easiest and most intuitive all-in-one Digital Marketing Platform out there
What do you like best about the product?
I've been in the web development and digital space for over 10 years now and have used many platforms and systems. I started using HubSpot over a year ago at my new position and instantly liked it. It is the most intuitive system I've ever used without much learning curve. It's also super powerful. It takes managing digital content to the next level. You can do so much with it, from managing contacts, creating amazing emails in a breeze, posting and engaging on social, and creating landing pages from scratch or from one of Marketplace templates. The reporting is amazing as well, you can fine tune any data you want.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much to dislike about HubSpot. They are continually adding new features and making the system better. It's super fast, cleanly designed, and the UI is well organized. I use HubSpot daily for hours on end and have never run into any issues. The support is top notch as well!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing leads, sending emails, managing social, creating campaigns, creating landing pages and online content. The benefits are simple: you can create an all encompassing digital campaign in a matter of hours. Set up a landing page from one of their amazing templates, create an email to send out to your contacts, schedule social posts, set up automated workflows to nurture those contacts that are engaged with the content, and so much more!
User friendly marketing automation for the everyman
What do you like best about the product?
Marketing automation is a bit of a daunting prospect for most companies, but Hubspot goes above and beyond in it's attempts to make itself accessible to all users. Hundreds of hours of training videos are available through the program at no additional cost, allowing your users to get certified in the program without having to shell out an excessive amount of money.
What do you dislike about the product?
The HTML editing abilities are a bit difficult to handle sometime; while they offer a great deal of plug and play, they also add random HTML to your emails that sometimes moves things in odd ways, or at other times is simply outdated. Inserting a picture? Check the HTML: there's probably three different width calls throughout the
tag.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hubspot makes marketing automation and email marketing easy, allowing us to focus on campaign creation and content.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider completely the cost of integrations, and don't just "set it and forget it". You need to have a plan in place to administrate HubSpot to not only get it's full use, but also to avoid unforeseen surprises on your bill. The pricing of HubSpot is fairly good compared to other Marketing Automation Platforms available, but it can still creep up on you if you don't maintain your contact list adequately.
Great Marketing and CRM Tool for All the needs of a small and medium business
What do you like best about the product?
The one and main tool we’re thrilled about using is the HubSpot contact integrations with forms, Facebook advertising and similar. When set up correctly, it will auto fill all the forms for you, and let your team know exactly what the users filled in, what they clicked on, and even how much time they spent on the page. We are in love with this marketing information as it’s important to our wellness center. We probably would not have even half of the leads that we are able to follow now without HubSpot. We are even able to set up our own perameters which auto fill into HubSpot when leads fill in a form, or click on an ad, meaning that team knows what product the lead is interested in before they even open the lead, and also enabling great reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside is that there is a huge gap cost between the plans, with first being affordable and great for what it delivers, and second one being unaffordable already to our team. I think that the price gap should not be so instant, and there should be plans available in between.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to see where leads come from, what they click on, how much they spend on a page. We were also able to create our own preferences, making it possible to sort leads out by their product interest, by their status in the system. We love the ChatBot feature, as many of our leads are now coming through ChatBot and not through forms. We saw that leads are more likely to act if they see a chat box, instead of when they see a form they have to fill in. This has given us a lot of leads, which we follow up via HubSpot. Thanks to the program, we are able to not just gain the leads from multiple sources, store and update them in the CRM, but to also convert them into our customers. We have replaced our normal website forms with HubSpot forms, and all of our leads are now seamlessly automatically added to HubSpot CRM. We are also able to send them our marketing emails, which is yet another great feature!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The free plan is sufficient for small businesses looking for a great CRM. The paid plan is great for larger businesses and is definitely worth it.
A designer's view on Hubspot
What do you like best about the product?
Powerful tools to build and deliver web and email content, wrapped in a well-integrated marketing package. Plus, great support and guidance.
What do you dislike about the product?
File management could be improved - functionality such as cloning folders etc, as well as positively encouraging users to upload assets into folders, rather than loosely at the root level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently rebuilding our email newsletters in Hubspot's Design Manager tool. Using fields and the Hubl mark up language we can create a template for our editorial teams to use that effectively serves their needs, and lets them add content in a flexible but structured way.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider how much of your existing web / landing page production could be simplified and standardised using Hubspot, along with getting great stats about their performance.
Worked in Hubspot for one year
What do you like best about the product?
The integration with GoToWebinar, and the minimal coding
What do you dislike about the product?
AAAALL the templates we have to make, even though there is just one difference to the page..
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining the process with webinars.
Powerful overall CRM tool
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use for businesses of all sizes is Hubspot's strong suit. It doesn't take a logic genius to set up a workflow or automate internal processes for assigning values to leads, and creating nurturing campaigns is intuitive and wonderfully visual. It integrates with many other sales tools making the Marketing > Sales handoff robust and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hubspot > Salesforce integration can be buggy and complicated, but wonderful when it's done correctly. Handmaking templates requires technical skill, but they're constantly making the template building easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We LOVE that we can do the end-to-end process of gated content pieces within Hubspot. Easy landing pages and associated workflows to gather quality information, score the leads, and hand them off to sales.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Worth the money for the marketing platform (I can't speak much to the sales CRM but I assume it's just as intuitive.)
Awesome experience
What do you like best about the product?
The website hosting and templates for websites. All the tools for developer. :)
