Simple and Reliable
What do you like best about the product?
CircleCI helps to increase the speed at which me and my team can release new updates. CircleCI gives us more faith that the updates that we push out our customers will be functioning correctly. The UI is easy to use, and the integration with GitHub makes it simple to address problems that do arise.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, CircleCI can be annoying, but only because it is forcing us to do the work that we don't want to do but really should be. Flaky tests can kill deployments, but at the end of the day this pushes us to fix our flaky tests which is really a good thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Linting, testing, and formatting code are three separate issues that we use CircleCI to address. When we deploy, we run tests through CircleCI to ensure that all three of these issues are addressed, allowing the team to deploy faster and have greater faith that the code we release is ready for production.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would definitely recommend CircleCI for Agile teams or teams that like to deploy quickly. It is an extremely versatile tool.

What do you like best about the product?
It not only provides linux container but also windows instance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it will take a long time to provision windows instance and it will cause my CI/CD pipeline crashing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me test my windows application. It shortens the time of configuring CI/CD pipeline.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Much easier to configure and have a lot of features which are not included in other CI/CD tools. Also CIrcleCI has a forum where all users discuss the strategy how to use circleci properly.
Very Productive CI System
What do you like best about the product?
I don't want to manage my own CI server, and CircleCI has proven very effective in building awesome pipelines.
What do you dislike about the product?
CircleCI is in the middle of a UI update, and switching between the UI systems is a little cumbersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Continuous integration, deployments, automation, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Easier to use than Jenkins, similar to Gitlab, awesome stuff!

How easy to use it is after implementing in a project

I feel the UI could be better as I had trouble finding some menus.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When Pushing code live how it tests/checks and if it finds any issues they are easy to understand and fix.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Read the documentation thoroughly as there are some things that I missed in the setup which caused me issues further on.

the ui can be more simple, easier to find things

deploy hundreds of microservices app, with circleci, we were able to deploy them with a single click.
Clean and Adaptable
What do you like best about the product?
I like how circle ci configs let you do anything you want with the build pipeline

The UI is a little bit unintuitive a slight learning curve
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Moving over from Travis CI we have reduce build/test times significantly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Find config files that are similar to your tech stack and project and save time getting your build setup.

Flexibility in declaring multiple workflows and jobs:
- specifically can easily run the same set of tests with different criteria in parallel
- easily can have certain tests ran (or not ran) based on what's included in the change (pull request)

With great flexibility and power comes potentially great learning curve, and intimidating with all that can be done.

Automated tests while maintaining a large open source project
Very useful tool for automated continuous quality control

CI allows me to not worry about issues slipping through the final steps of the development process

Preferred the old UI, but the new one is growing on me

Automating our deployments
What do you like best about the product?
Our deployments and tests are now fully automated and I love the ease of integration with GitHub.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t think there’s anything I dislike about CircleCI. We have been using it for several months now without any issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have automated our builds with Circle CI and GitHub. For each push to GitHub, automated tests are run on Circle CI before allowing merging. Merging a PR triggers automated deployments and testings. This setup has greatly simplified our deployment processes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Integrate CircleCI in your build workflow on GitHub and add the results of the automated tests as a requirement for merging a PR. This is a great automated sanity check before merging.
