Intuitive Arena UI Makes Finding Parts Fast and Easy

  • February 18, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive interface. Arena's graphical user interface makes it easier to find the parts and requests I am looking for. There are no codes and numbers to be remembered to access specific parts.

It is easier to get started with as a new user and the new AI search features make life easier when looking for specific details that might be buried deeper inside. The load speeds are quite fast and I like to see multiple results in a matter of seconds across different categories.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search needs to improve. There should be options to query multiple parts at a time by pasting a list using some type of Excel integration in some way that can take an excel BOM and provide details for each part number
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Arena helps keep track of changes that are being made across the organization to avoid conflicts and reworks. There should be more communication features that can aid in deciding priority of conflicting changes. Maybe a pop-up for the people in-charge to add a note for conflicts and prioritize accordingly

Simple, Reliable PLM for Daily Documentation and Change Management

  • February 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Arena PLM is very easy to use and works well for daily tasks like documentation control, BOM management, requests, and engineering changes. It keeps files and items organized in one place, making tracking and updates simple. Customer support has also been very helpful whenever needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
You cannot open two workspaces at the same time, which slows down switching between projects. The login session time is also short, causing occasional interruptions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It centralizes and organizes files, BOMs, and change processes, improving control and making daily engineering work more efficient.

Frustrating Search, Insecure Login, and Consistency Challenges

  • February 10, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Arena PLM & QMS at work to keep track of product parts, suppliers, documentation, ECOs, and changes. It's treated as the source of truth for all production release parts and machines, and a go-to source for the latest released documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I despise the search feature. There is no 'fuzzy' search and knowing the exact naming or part number is necessary to find the correct document. Also, when creating a part it's hard to keep a consistent structure across multiple people in the organization and sometimes duplicate information exists. Maybe this is an SSO issue but my Arena is most often logged out and I need to keep entering my email address every time I access the site whereas all my other Okta apps are fine and login automatically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Arena PLM & QMS to track product parts, suppliers, and documentation. It serves as the source of truth for production release parts and the latest released documentation.

Centralized Approvals and Phase Gates Make Compliance Tracking Easy

  • February 06, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
How project requests, changes and items are in different fields. Able to get approvals and phase gate approvals from a single place and able to track all the progress anytime for compliance side
What do you dislike about the product?
Need added features to track from production side of this? Need to use additional software like BAAN & SAP to track implementation side of projects. Ability to link such ERP systems or an inbuilt ERP system for such tracking would help tremendously.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having history of all the revisions of changes and able to back track them. See all the plans, reports & documentations for each revision and able to track that history

Structured change lifecycle across Define, Plan, Verify, Implement with clear tabs (Summary, Items, Files, Evaluation) to capture scope, BOM, forms, and approvals.
Role-based workflows with Participant, Evaluator, and Approver for GEPC, ECR/ECO/DCO—streamlining reviews and decisions.
Organized workspaces for production, PCB, and R&D, making drawings, BOMs, and instructions easy to find.
Efficient search (Basic and Advanced) to quickly locate items and changes.
Integrated forms and compliance (Eng090/Eng055, Eng093, QCF123, GEPC, ENG058r) ensuring consistent documentation and inspection control.
What do you dislike about the product?
Complex, multi-step workflows across phases and tabs increase effort to complete changes.
Form-heavy processes (multiple ECO/GEPC/QCF forms) add administrative overhead and risk missed details.
Non-intuitive status/judgment steps in evaluations cause back-and-forth and delays.
Navigation overhead across many specialized workspaces to find the right items and BOMs.
Revision and disposition complexity demands careful inputs, slowing implementation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
End‑to‑end change control for EPD/ECR and ECO/DCO across Define, Plan, Verify, Implement. Benefit: fewer errors and clear approvals.
Centralized BOMs and documents via organized workspaces and tabs (Summary, Items, Files, Evaluation). Benefit: faster updates and accurate where‑used visibility.

Clear, Easy Status Tracking and Stakeholder Feedback

  • February 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The centralized management of project requests, change orders, and item records across structured fields makes tracking very efficient. Having approvals and phase-gate reviews accessible from a single platform significantly improves visibility and control. It’s easy to monitor project progress at any time, which is especially helpful from a compliance and audit standpoint.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is limited functionality for tracking activities from the production and implementation side. Currently, additional tools such as SAP or BAAN are required to manage ERP-related execution and manufacturing progress. Native ERP capabilities or stronger integration with existing ERP systems would greatly enhance end-to-end project tracking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The system provides a complete history of revisions and changes, making it easy to trace decisions and updates over time. All plans, reports, and documentation are maintained per revision, ensuring strong configuration control and simplifying audits, compliance reviews, and cross-functional collaboration.
