Essential for Data Gathering, But Pricing and Learning Curve Need Work
What do you like best about the product?
Apify is central to my data-gathering workflow. My main use case is running an Amazon product scraper, which is critical for my affiliate marketing strategy. It helps me move beyond manual research and systematically identify top products. I also regularly employ it as a general website content crawler, which is invaluable when I need to extract text data from targeted websites for analysis or to feed into other tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing and cost structure can be challenging to anticipate, which makes budgeting a bit tricky. There is also a significant learning curve, and I feel that the user interface could use some improvements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I rely on Apify as my main web scraping tool for AI automations. It plays a crucial role in collecting the data necessary to drive my workflows.
Excellent hosting for all software projects but I hope the user experience will be improved.
What do you like best about the product?
Speed of order execution
The ability to specify a specific RAM size for each actor.
The API service enables the user to communicate with their program using programming languages.

What do you dislike about the product?
Prices should be reduced.
Discount coupons should be offered.
Plans with fewer features and lower prices should be added.
Adding advanced search features such as searching within run outputs
Working to speed up site response
I think it would be an excellent feature to add a database with a control panel for all actor outputs.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In fact, without Apify, I wouldn't know what to do, as it's the only hosting provider I could find that suited my needs. All the projects of the companies I work with—at least 10 companies—are entirely on Apify. And Apify has always been a source of praise from company managers for its speed in fulfilling their requests.
The problem we were facing was that we had an online ordering website and received many orders daily that we couldn't handle on our own. Therefore, we created an automated order fulfillment program and hosted it on Apify.

Sleek User Experience, But Pricing Needs Clarity
What do you like best about the product?
Sleek experience that allows me to save a lot of time for my business
What do you dislike about the product?
Confusing pricing - I think it would be useful to have unified, transparent pricing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using apify I would manually extract data whereas now I can do it automatically
Less tech stress, more shipping
What do you like best about the product?
Apify lets me go from idea to running automation in minutes. Templates/Actors cover 80% out of the box, docs are clear, and scheduling + webhooks + storage just… work. It scales from a tiny test to production without me babysitting servers. Integrations via API are straightforward, so it plugs into my stack fast. Net result: less tech stress, more shipping.
What do you dislike about the product?
Handling edge cases sometimes requires additional adjustments, such as fine-tuning selectors or overcoming anti-bot measures. Debugging concurrency issues at scale often means digging through logs. The pricing structure is reasonable, but it's easy to use up credits quickly if you're not careful, so having guardrails like limits or alerts is essential. I would also appreciate seeing more first-party templates, especially for niche sites.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Automates repetitive web tasks (price checks, audits) → saves hours weekly.
- Reliable data extraction at scale → cleaner inputs for reports.
- Change monitoring with webhooks → faster alerts, fewer surprises.
- No server maintenance → lower ops overhead, more time to build.
Net effect: faster delivery, fewer errors, less tech stress.

Exceptional Reliability and Integrations, but Needs Standardized Output Formats
What do you like best about the product?
I've been a heavy Apify user for months, running 10+ actors daily with hundreds of executions, and the platform has been exceptional. The reliability is outstanding—actors consistently deliver results without failures, and the performance meets my high-volume needs perfectly.
The n8n integration deserves special praise. It's seamless and makes building complex automation workflows incredibly straightforward. Being able to chain Apify actors with other services through n8n has transformed how I handle data extraction and processing tasks.

What do you dislike about the product?
However, there's one significant pain point: the lack of standardized output formats across actors. Each actor returns data in its own structure, which means I spend considerable time adapting and normalizing outputs when using multiple actors in a workflow. A standardized format option—even as an optional setting—would dramatically improve the developer experience and reduce integration overhead.
Despite this formatting inconsistency, Apify remains an invaluable tool in my automation stack. The platform's power, reliability, and excellent third-party integrations far outweigh this drawback. For anyone doing serious web scraping or automation at scale, Apify is definitely worth considering.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Apify extensively for automated data extraction and web scraping across multiple sources. My workflow involves running 10+ different actors daily with hundreds of concurrent runs to gather market intelligence, monitor competitor pricing, track product availability, and aggregate data from various websites.
The main business problems Apify solves for me are:
Time efficiency: Automating data collection that would take days manually
Scalability: Handling high-volume data extraction without infrastructure headaches
Reliability: Consistent data delivery without manual intervention
I've integrated Apify deeply into my n8n automation workflows, where scraped data feeds into downstream processes like database updates, reporting systems, and notification triggers. The platform handles everything from simple one-off scraping tasks to complex, recurring data pipelines.
The scope spans multiple business functions—from competitive analysis and market research to inventory monitoring and lead generation. Apify has become the backbone of my data acquisition strategy, replacing manual research and unreliable scraping scripts with a robust, production-ready solution that scales with my needs.

Apify Review
What do you like best about the product?
Apify is a robust and scalable platform for automating web scraping and browser-based workflows. It excels in handling large-scale data extraction tasks, offering cloud execution, scheduling, and proxy management built in. While it delivers strong performance and flexibility, its usability can be somewhat technical—users with limited coding experience may face a steeper learning curve. In sum, for teams needing reliable automation and data gathering at scale, Apify is a strong choice—though for simpler, one-off tasks or fully no-code users, a lighter tool might be more suitable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t like that Apify can be a bit complex for beginners and that costs increase quickly with larger projects.

Efficient Automation with Apify
What do you like best about the product?
Apify easily integrates with automation platforms like n8n and make.com
Has a clear and detailed documentation for each actor and API.
Has a playground to test these actors and make the best choice.
Eliminated the need for API calls and 100s of lines of code.

Eliminated the need for API calls and 100s of lines of code.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't necessarily dislike anything there is room for improvement:
Using any Apify actor for the first time in the playground must be free. This enables to test out different options and select the best one.
They could add a limit on how many times it can be tested and only limited data can be returned in testing phase.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use apify to fastrack and optimize the research process on our prospects by using actors like google maps, reviews and others. Using these actors in an automated workflow, we enable our BDR team to focus more on conversations rather than hours of scouring and researching on the web. Current scope is limited to optimizing sales research process. We will further integrate Apify to automate tasks like lead enrichment and lead generation.
Versatile Web Scraping Made Easy with Quick Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that if I need to scrape a website or something more complicated, I can go in here and find an actor that works well and set it up very quickly. It can be used on the web interface or through an API.
What do you dislike about the product?
You have to pay for each actor, and the pricing is all over the place because individual providers set it. It takes a bit of time to figure out what makes the most sense for you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Apify is solving the problem that in order to scrape multiple different websites, you need to spend quite a bit of time on tooling and figuring out how to do it. So if you need that data collection, this can save you a lot of time.
