Great software for you scraping needs
What do you like best about the product?
Apify’s actor framework lets us spin up scalable scrapers that stream clean, enriched leads directly into HubSpot, replacing manual prospecting with an automated, maintenance-light pipeline
What do you dislike about the product?
once you’re juggling many actors the dashboard feels cluttered and you still need external tools for deeper analytics and version control

Turning My Code into Scalable Products with Apify
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Apify is how it eliminates the need to manage infrastructure and scaling, letting me focus solely on adapting my code. It also makes sharing and monetizing my solutions easy, turning personal scripts into products and driving new revenue streams for my business
What do you dislike about the product?
Apify is a great platform, but it could be even better by making the interface more accessible for non-programmers, integrating AI-assisted code generation, and allowing easier configuration of output directly to databases or other destinations without extra setup
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Apify solves the challenges of large-scale data collection and infrastructure management by automating scraping tasks and eliminating the need for servers. It allows me to monetize my scripts as products, reduce operational costs, and scale faster, ultimately helping me focus on growth, efficiency, and creating new revenue streams for my business.
Apify supercharged our automation with scalable, customizable tools
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of Apify’s actor system is by far the biggest advantage. We use it to build and run custom scrapers that target Facebook and Instagram posts for B2B lead generation. The ease of scheduling, session management, proxy handling, and dataset exporting all make it an incredibly smooth platform to work with. Plus, their actor marketplace and documentation make it easy for new team members to get started quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some actors break when the target website changes layout, especially on platforms like Facebook. While that’s understandable, it would be helpful to have a more robust version control or notification system for when actors fail. Dataset filtering and merging could also use more functionality, especially for users managing thousands of records per run.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Apify helps us solve the challenge of real-time lead generation by automating data extraction from Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms. Instead of relying on outdated databases or manual research, we use Apify actors to identify fresh leads within minutes of them posting online. This allows us to provide clients with more accurate, relevant, and time-sensitive data—giving them a competitive edge in outreach and conversions. It has also significantly reduced our team’s workload and improved operational efficiency.
Data extraction and automation platform - API ready
What do you like best about the product?
Apify provides an extensive library of ready-made actors that enable automated data extraction from diverse web sources, such as Google Maps, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
The platform features both a browser-based editor and a remote API, supporting workflow automation and offering compatibility with integration tools.
Cloud-based execution and resource scaling streamline management of large-volume scraping tasks, while built-in proxy management and anti-blocking mechanisms address common obstacles like IP bans or CAPTCHAs.
Actor customization supports JavaScript and TypeScript, and the platform promotes collaboration with version control and role-based access features for project teams.
Data export formats include JSON, CSV, Excel, and integration with cloud storages, extending utility for downstream processing in CRM, business intelligence, or AI pipelines.
The documentation is thorough, and the active developer community facilitates knowledge sharing on actor development and workflow design.

What do you dislike about the product?
I find the initial learning curve somewhat steep, particularly due to the actor-based paradigm and the rich terminology. Selecting effective actors can be time-consuming, given the high number of available solutions and the nuanced differences between them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Apify has addressed the need for reproducible and efficient web data extraction without relying on extensive custom script development for each target site. Maintenance of scraping automation is streamlined, especially when web page structures change or when scaling data acquisition for multiple concurrent sources. This platform enables rapid prototyping of data-centric business operations such as lead generation, market research, competitor monitoring, and periodic content aggregation. Complex scraping setups are managed centrally and consistently, promoting smoother data integration into broader analytics or machine learning processes.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Apify is its flexibility and scalability. Whether I’m building a simple scraper or a complex automation workflow, Apify provides the tools to handle both with ease. The ability to create custom Actors using JavaScript, schedule tasks, and manage large-scale data collection makes it incredibly powerful.
I also really appreciate the intuitive user interface, clear documentation, and the actor marketplace, which lets you start fast with prebuilt solutions. Overall, it saves a lot of time and effort while still allowing for deep customization when needed.

What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Apify is that the pricing model can be unclear at first, especially for new users. It’s sometimes difficult to estimate the total cost of running a scraper—especially when dealing with large datasets or longer-running Actors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Apify is solving the problem of manual data collection and web automation, which used to be time-consuming and error-prone. Instead of spending hours scraping data or monitoring websites manually, I can now automate these tasks reliably and at scale.
This platform is one of the best platforms for no-code, low-code builders.
What do you like best about the product?
Apify shines when you need quick‑fire, well‑defined data‑extraction jobs—think: pulling product prices daily for a competitor dashboard, running one‑off real‑estate crawls to feed your CRM, or powering lightweight n8n automations that enrich leads before they hit your email pipeline. The managed Actors, built‑in proxy pool, and scheduling UI get you from “idea” to “running in prod” absurdly fast, without wrestling with headless browsers or infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
Where it starts to creak is at hyperscale or near‑real‑time use cases—e.g., millions of pages per hour, complex, multi‑step scraping that needs sub‑second latency, or mission‑critical flows that demand fine‑grained cost control. At that point, rolling your own microservice with a dedicated scraper cluster (or serverless workers) usually gives better throughput, lower unit costs, and tighter SLA guarantees.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Apify killed three headaches in one shot:
Data paralysis → on‑tap intel: Instead of burning hours on manual scraping or babysitting flaky puppeteer scripts, we fire an Actor and wake up to clean JSON feeds—fresh competitor prices, broker lists, you name it.
Dev drag → shipping speed: No more tinkering with proxies, captchas, or browser updates. Our engineers reclaimed ~20 hours a week and now ship features that actually make money.
Stale leads → live ammo: Real‑time enrichment funnels straight into n8n, so the sales team hits prospects with up‑to‑the‑minute data and sees reply rates climb ~18 %.

Seriously impressive platform!
What do you like best about the product?
The sheer amount of valuable data sitting out there on websites is mind-blowing, and Apify gives you the tools to actually harvest it efficiently. Whether it's competitor research, market analysis, or lead generation - the possibilities are endless. Sure, it takes some patience to master, but the payoff is absolutely worth it. Seriously impressive platform!
What do you dislike about the product?
Apify definitely has a learning curve - the interface isn't immediately intuitive and the documentation can feel overwhelming at first. You'll probably hit some roadblocks initially. But once you push through that initial confusion, it's genuinely incredible what you can accomplish.
