What I dislike about Apify is that handling websites with strong anti-scraping measures—like CAPTCHAs or advanced bot protections—can sometimes be tricky and may require extra tools or proxies.

Apify solves the problem of manually collecting large amounts of web data by automating scraping and extraction, even from complex, dynamic websites. This saves me countless hours of tedious work, ensures data accuracy, and lets me scale lead generation effortlessly. What do you like best about the product?
I use apify to scrape leads from Google using the Google scraper. This list I get from apify, the actor allows me to export it as a file that I can then export into Microsoft excel and even Google sheets which is very useful.

Can be abit pricey and hard to understand after free plan

I also use the indeed job scraper so I can scrape jobs and put them on a separate spreadsheet

Apify allowed us to get access to an entire database which was otherwise inaccessible other than record by record, query by query. For a small investment in time and money, we captured data which would have cost 10-20X elsewhere. We also had direct access to the developer who was willing to make updates quickly based on our requirements. This ended up being the fastest, simplest method to secure the entire database results vs. any other option.

For users unfamiliar with APIs, or the end data source, its interface can require finessing to get your desired results

What do you like best about the product?
I am content crator by crawling popular YouTube videos and publish on major content platforms. However, I also have Make.com and n8n automation agents to sell small companies to grab insights, emails, address, locations and so on. Apify is my best friend to get ready datas and create useful tasks accordingly. Mainly I use Google Maps, Youtube Transcrip Crawler and website crawler actors according to per requests and demands.

I have to use different actors in case of one extra or better options included. So, please create co-actor options to use 2 or more actors use together.

The flexibility. You can use prebuilt actors out of the box or build something completely custom when needed. It handles dynamic content well, scales cleanly, and doesn’t force you into a rigid UI. Also, being able to schedule runs and integrate with APIs makes it easy to fold into other workflows.

Debugging can be a bit clunky, especially with custom actors. Would be nice to have more visual tools or clearer logs when something breaks. Also, the actor marketplace could use better sorting or quality indicators to help surface the best stuff faster.
