What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, integration to tools I use on daily basis (airtable, make). ability to test actors before renting them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing is slightly complex, facebook posts scraper needs updates.

My organization is running a content channel, from make we had access to data from campaigns, but not to the organic data.

What do you like best about the product?
Apify offers a robust platform that streamlines web scraping, making it effortless to scale and navigate anti-bot defences. The documentation is thorough, and the support team is both responsive and knowledgeable. After using it daily for over six months, I can confidently say it integrates seamlessly into any workflow.
On Apify, scrapers are referred to as "actors" and are straightforward to implement—especially once you've built a few. After writing two or three, the process becomes intuitive and highly efficient.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's the best out there, so it's hard to talk about the things I don't like. Either way, I'd love to see a couple of features that will save some time if present. I'm glad to say that I've already contacted Apify about them and one is already in their pipeline!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can talk about myself and my company, but Apify is solving scaling, templating and bypassing anti-bot defences. It does it well and reliable, so we are all very happy about working with them. We've become an Apify partner and they also send us leads that have contacted them in need of a scraper. To put it briefly, Apify checks a lot of ticks for us

What do you like best about the product?
Apify is perfect for our business use case! We love how collectors can be customized, the pricing structure, the reliability of the collectors, the ip rotating system, and much more. Customer support is willing to address any bug, help write custom collectors, and is quick to respond. The API is very intuitive and easy to plug into. It integrates perfectly with our tools. Very highly recommend! This is the only data scraping tool our company needs!

I struggle to think of any real complaints.

We use it mostly to collect our Instagram data.

It could just be me, but I wish I could integrate its API with ChatGPT so I can streamline my workflow even more.

I needed to find a way to extract a target market's "voice". Apify helped solve that problem for me through their platform, which did exactly what I needed.

It's abit hard to understand at first for those who aren't familiar with tech & data.

It's making our data collection & campaign measuring process much easier & quicker.
Likely the best out there
What do you like best about the product?
It was the first solution i Found that I could start using almost right out of the box, without an insurmountable learning curve like other scraping solutions that I looked at. The premade actors really made it easy to get my feet wet and start extracting data. Later I moved on to schedules and integrations which just made my life entirely more easy. Now I just get new results and they're put in a database, autopilot for my needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Premade actors are great, but frankly, the rent+usage model that some of the actors have is just not ideal. I would like to test these out more thoroughly beyond a 3 day free trial. I would suggest that you consider a purely pay for usage model with slightly higher cost, but doping away with this rent + usage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Apify is what enables my startup project to start being developed. My entire service is focused on being able to scrape from 3-4 sites and processing it to make it valuable for customers. So it solves my "raw materials" good. It's not that I couldn't do it with other services but simply Apify is the easier one and more straightforward to use; so another problem it solves is a learning curve that would make my project co much slower.

You get a chance to fully try the product! it's esy to use when you know what to do, and there is a great community around willing to help you

Maybe some more guiding at the beginning if you are not technical it could be a bit difficult to find how to intergrate this via API.

Capturing data from websites of like 50 sites a day, would take me a crazy amount of time.

What do you like best about the product?
Apify did a great job at building a user-friendly platform for web scraping and automation, allowing non-tech users to scrape and integrate multiple services. Developers can built their own solutions and easily publish on Apify store, which has over 1000 actors already. The support is pretty good for both users and developers.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations, like not being possible to upload a file directly on the actor input or being able to retry failed requests from a actor run, it would be great to have a 'Retry failed requests' button. It would be great if the actor could produce a file as the output, instead of a dataset.
