Great for extracting data
What do you like best about the product?
its easy to use and very useful. I like that it runs on headless chrome and can also work together with other tools
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any negative comments about Apify so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
That it was very useful to scrape data from very large websites and that I can reuse stuff through what they already have on GitHub

Its simple to use and great for complex tasks.

Checks all the boxes of what you expect out of a cloud based service provider.
API is easy to use and well documented including Webhooks.

Nothing so far, managed to solve all the challenges in my projects so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a lot of suppliers who won't provide a REST API for integration purposes.
Apify helped me to build a custom Actor to crawl trough the suppliers portal.
This gives me a REST API with the data extracted from the portal.

If you feel you lack the programming expertise for configuration of a crawler, try their custom order feature.

What do you like best about the product?
For individuals/groups that are looking to get around the hassle of being blocked by services like CloudFlare and Captchas for scraping websites and data, Apify provides a great service and awesome documentation to create structured data exports for any sort of website, instead of doing it through a large combination of libraries in purely programming languages and their respective web-scraping libraries. The processing power needed to do this locally in large amounts is unquestionably high, compared to doing this through a cloud service like Apify.
What do you dislike about the product?
Apify's pricing tiers get quite expensive quite quick, as opposed to other services. You can also replicate some of their services in normal scripts (possibly using node.js scraping libraries), which makes it questionable whether using their services is worth the price.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Apify for web scraping a variety of sources for real-time open-source data needed for some of our algorithms.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Apify makes it really simple to implement any sort of web scraping script necessary. They have a very comprehensive and easy-to-read documentation that makes migration from other scraping services quite easy, and Apify's lower pricing tiers are free, so it's a free service to try out.
