What do you like best about the product?
I'm an independent real estate agent operating in the premium residential segment of a major European capital. Apify sits at the core of my data infrastructure — I use it both as a consumer of Store actors and as a developer building my own custom actors for niche data sources that don't expose official APIs.

I use several actors on the store, and I also develop my own and contribute to the community. It’s a very useful website, and they provide a variety of services that people can benefit from a lot. I use social media and website scrapers, and I rely on them to get real information very quickly.

I don’t like that there are so few reviews, and that you can’t really get much feedback from the community.

It provides a great tool for creating datasets for any program or website. I use my own actors, and I can use them however I want on my websites.

Using Apify has been an amazing experience. Scraping information has never been easier for me. Credits are deducted fairly and generously, and the base tier will usually cover most day-to-day needs. It’s also very easy to set up, and there’s a huge library of scrapers built by many individuals that you can simply pick up and use right away. Highly recommended.

Sometimes, the actor can't fetch the data. It is recommended to contact the original author more conveniently.

Honestly, there is very little to dislike. If I had to point out one area for improvement, it would be making some advanced configuration and debugging workflows slightly more intuitive for new users. While the platform is extremely powerful, beginners may need a short learning curve to fully unlock its potential.

The ready-made actors in the marketplace save enormous amounts of development time — I can scrape complex websites in minutes without writing custom code from scratch. The ability to schedule actors, chain them together in workflows, and export data directly to various integrations like Google Sheets or webhooks makes it a complete data extraction solution. The proxy management is also top-notch, handling IP rotation seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing can be a bit steep for smaller teams or individual developers who are just getting started. The learning curve for building custom actors from scratch is also somewhat steep if you're not familiar with Node.js or Python. It would be great to see more affordable entry-level plans and more no-code actor building options for non-technical users.

Previously, this required hiring developers or buying expensive data vendors. What do you like best about the product?
I like that Apify provides various automations to enrich lists from multiple tools like IG and LinkedIn. The flexibility it offers is something I truly appreciate, and I've been tinkering with Claude CoWork alongside it. Apify is a very solid foundation for my lead generation setup, and I can't do it without Apify. The initial setup was very easy, which was great.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few months ago all the Apollo automations stopped working, and I wasn't really ready for that. A warning or timely alternative would've been highly appreciated.

Very very easy to use, subscriber in a heartbeat. Most of the apps available you may need to explore a bit, but generally you’ll be able to find what you’re looking for and it will get the job done.
