What do you like best about the product?
I am using Apify for my personal projects and a small idea that I believe has great vision. Their web scraping options are great and save me time many times, helping me figure out things. I love their work, and one of my favorite things is their API, which I use for both personal and college projects. The initial setup of Apify was very easy.

I find Apify's residential proxies for website scraping really helpful. The ability to use different IPs is especially beneficial. I also think the way crawlers are deployed is really helpful. Plus, the initial setup was very easy.

I use Apify to scrape data from websites for our SaaS, and I've even published an actor to the Apify marketplace. It makes scraping texts and information from websites easy, saving a lot of time by eliminating worries about using proxies and solving captchas. I really like the already available huge list of Apify actors in the marketplace because it saves me a lot of time and generally I find the actor I am looking for. The initial setup was very easy; I simply used an actor available in the marketplace. Luckily, we used Apify first without needing to look for alternatives.
What do you dislike about the product?
Apify could improve its free tier by giving monthly credits instead of just limiting to the $5 you get initially.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Apify makes it easy to scrape data from websites, saving time on building tools without worrying about proxies and captchas. The marketplace offers a huge list of actors, saving time as I usually find the actor I need.

What I like most about Apify is how powerful and flexible it is for web data tasks. It allows me to automate scraping and data extraction from almost any website, even those without APIs, and then turn that raw information into structured, usable data. I also appreciate being able to scale my workflows without having to constantly monitor them, which saves me a lot of time. The documentation and the community are both helpful, so I rarely feel stuck when I’m building or refining new tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside for me is that there’s a learning curve, especially for users without a technical background. Some tasks require familiarity with JavaScript or logic flows to get the most out of the platform. I’d also like to see even more beginner‑friendly templates and guides to make it easier for new users to jump in quickly.

Clearer upfront guidance or simpler pricing tiers would help reduce this learning curve.

Using Apify, I was able to easily extract social media and real estate data without building or maintaining my own scraping infrastructure. While the Apify Store is great overall, it can still be difficult for new or niche scrapers to get noticed among the 10,000+ existing tools. Improving the search algorithm and offering developers more ways to promote their work—such as stronger categorization or a dedicated “new and noteworthy” area—would make it easier for smaller creators to reach the right audience sooner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Apify is ideal for scaling custom scrapers that need reliable proxy management and anti-bot bypasses, without having to run or maintain your own servers. It’s especially well-suited for developers who want to monetize their code through the Actor store. That said, it’s less appropriate for simple, one-off tasks, where the overhead of the SDK and the compute-unit pricing can end up outweighing the value of the project.

Like any scraping platform, external site rate limits can slow things down, but this is expected and clearly communicated. The platform gives enough visibility to design around it.

- for UX: there are inputs that depend on another input value and thus based on the input value we shall show only the relevant inputs, for example an input 1 is a select input that has 2 options (option 1 and option 2), based on it's value I shall show input 2 and input 5 if I select option 1, and I shall show input 3 and input 4 if I select option 2, what happens is that we display all the inputs (input 1, input 2, input 3, input 4, input 5)
