What do you like best about the product?
Actionable Remediation – After simulating attacks, it provides concrete suggestions, like missing detection rules or specific signature updates, helping teams close gaps fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the Picus agent loses heartbeat, which can affect the reliability of scheduled simulations and posture tracking, requiring manual intervention or troubleshooting.

Picus Security helps solve the problem of assuming that security controls are working as intended.
By continuously simulating real-world attacks (BAS), it validates the effectiveness of our defenses (EDR, SIEM, firewall) and identifies detection or prevention gaps before attackers can exploit them.

Picus offers a wide range of up-to-date attack simulations aligned with MITRE ATT&CK, which helps us identify and fix security gaps efficiently. The platform is user-friendly, integrates smoothly with SIEM and EDR tools, and the reporting is clear and actionable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Picus Security helps us identify and remediate security gaps in real time by simulating real-world cyberattacks. It allows us to continuously validate the effectiveness of our security controls across endpoints, networks, and emails. This proactive approach significantly reduces our risk exposure and gives us greater confidence in our defense strategies.

What do you like best about the product?
What I value most about Picus Security is its ability to realistically simulate attacks across different vectors (network, endpoint, and email), allowing us to continuously assess our defenses and prioritize actions based on real evidence. The interface is intuitive, the reports are actionable and detailed, and the technical support has been excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the platform is very robust, sometimes the execution time for certain attack scenarios can be longer than expected, especially when running multiple simulations. It would also be great to have more native integrations with ticketing tools to further automate the remediation process.

Picus Security helps us ensure our security controls like NGFW, EDR, WAF, and SIEM are working as expected. It allows us to identify gaps and improve detection and response across our environment.

Its ease of use and ease of implementation, because in some cases it can be implemented agentless.
So many vendor integrations, which is great.
Also really good customer supports, easy to reach out to them.
You can use it as much as you can (depending on your license), schedule tasks and reports, which is a great functionality.

You have to apply some exclusions to your security controls
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me to validate the effectiveness of my security and detection controls such as NGFW, AV/EDR/EPP, WAF, IPS, PROXY, SIEM, etc. From multiple vendors.

the possibility of performing validation on the main attack channels, using simulations of existing attacks. It allows to increase the flow of improvement/configuration of cybersecurity solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
the reporting system is very limited and the idea of a solution of this type is to be able to transmit and present the results as comprehensively as possible, so that it is useful to the users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I want to understand what problems it helps me solve?... if so, it helps me be more proactive by providing responses to probable risk situations within the company.

I really appreciate the comprehensive visibility that Picus Security provides regarding our security posture. Its ability to simulate real-world attacks and map them directly to MITRE ATT&CK techniques is extremely valuable. The actionable mitigation insights, continuous security validation, and integration capabilities with existing security tools are major advantages that help us strengthen our defenses proactively.

Improved customization options for dashboards and reporting would also be beneficial.

We are utilizing our security products in a way that maximizes their effectiveness.
A Strong and Robust CyberSecurity Solution
What do you like best about the product?
Picus Security helps in keeping a security check against cyberattacks and allows us to run simulations against real cyberattacks. The detailed reporting is very helpful and provides powerful insights on security. On finding security issues, it provides detailed steps on fixing those issues, such as firewalls, exploitation, and intrusion, which simply saves us a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Picus Security has some drawbacks, like the reports page keeps refreshing in the middle. The Setup process needs to be simplified as it took us a lot of time to integrate it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Picus Security helps us in being aware and staying ahead of the threats by continuously testing security of our infrastructure. We are able to improve our systems and security before attackers could exploit it. Picus has efficiently improved our ability to counter threats and avoid data loss. It's detailed reporting does gives us an advantage as it instantly alerts about the threats.
Successful Journey From Breach an Attack Simulation to Cyber Security Exposure Management
What do you like best about the product?
Picus Security is the most visionary company we have ever worked. Their tool is constanly changing for adapting new threats. The tool is so friendly and ease to use. Implementation process takes only coople of hours. Customer support and license model is so helpful for the user companies.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike with Picus Security. Visibility of all threats may be problem for the CISO's in the Board Meetings:)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can evaluate all security products if they are up and running during the simulation process. The visibility of threats in a single dashboard is very valuable.
One Stop Shop For Breach and Attack Simulation for Defensive and Offensive Teams
What do you like best about the product?
As a Picus customer, the most attractive part of product is it has been evolving current security lanscape and threats and customer needs. The Vendor is so responsive and fulfil customer feature reuest on-th-fly. Product focus both increase prevention capabilities and also detection capabilities within the customer base. Hence product is used by both offensive and defensive teams in daily manner. It is also used by very upper management of companies by scoring of detection and preventien capabilities within the customer. As a customer, you can benchmark your capabilities with other companies(anonymated) in the same sector and same country.
What do you dislike about the product?
They are doing good so far.Picus is still startup company and they are so close to customers but partner ecosystem can also be enhanced.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Biggest problem with security is the answering one question; "How Secure we are?" The answer is Picus. Security is very hard concept to demonstrate success. They say "Nobody is innocence of untested sings" Security is based on same manner. Without any proper test you can not be sure how secure you are. By using Picus we can test and measure how secure we are.
