Picus Security provides a seamless and proactive approach to continuous security validation. I especially appreciate its ability to simulate real-world threats with precision, helping us identify and address gaps before they can be exploited. The platform is intuitive, the reporting is clear, and the actionable insights significantly enhance our overall security posture.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little to dislike about Picus Security. If anything, I would say that expanding the range of integrations even further could make the platform even more powerful. However, the current integration options already cover most of our needs effectively.

Picus Security helps us continuously validate our security controls against the latest threats, ensuring our defenses remain effective in an ever-changing threat landscape. By identifying gaps proactively, it allows us to take corrective actions before an incident occurs. This not only strengthens our overall security posture but also saves time and resources by prioritizing the most critical improvements.

What do you like best about the product?
The best part of Picus Security is it empower us to make sure that all of the investments we already made on our security controls give you the proper return. It helps us to translate the cyber risk into business risk and make it easier for our board to understand the need for future investments. The single dashboard and its GUI helps us to easily navigate to the modules to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no downside of Picus Security as of now, as it's quite simple to use. However, it may be challenging for few organization due to its cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The best part of Picus is the Vendor specific signatures which fixes the gaps immediately and makes the organization cybersecurity posture proactive in nature and prepare for any adversary attacks well informed and fixed in nature. I must recommend to users to wish to prepare a strong cyber hygiene. It benefits in the way that we don't have to reach out the vendors for their signatures to be updated on the solution. It's done through a single click. Thats the beauty of Picus. The risk score also helps to see the validation of the product.

Picus Security provides an end-to-end platform for validating security controls, attack paths, and detection rules in real time. I particularly value the breadth of its simulation library, covering thousands of up-to-date threat scenarios, and the clarity of its dashboards. The solutions including Security Control Validation, Attack Path Validation, and Detection Rule Validation, make it easy to identify gaps and provide actionable remediation guidance. The platform’s ease of use, straightforward implementation process, and strong integration capabilities mean I can run assessments frequently without impacting production environments. Their customer support team is highly responsive and knowledgeable, ensuring that any questions or challenges are addressed quickly and effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Security Control Validation (SCV) product is excellent, but I would like to see even more products and capabilities added within the SCV offering in the future. That said, the current portfolio is already very strong and delivers significant value.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Picus Security helps proactively identify and close security gaps by continuously validating defenses against real-world attack techniques. It addresses the challenge of knowing whether controls, detection rules, and response processes are actually effective, without having to wait for an incident to test them. With products like SCV, APV, and DRV, we can validate security posture end-to-end, receive clear remediation steps, and ensure alignment with evolving threat landscapes. This has strengthened the ability to prevent, detect, and respond to attacks, ultimately improving our overall security resilience.

Features like Breach and Attack Simulation – BAS, Risk-Based Prioritization, Security Effectiveness Scoring, Advanced Reporting and Recommendations are among my favorites.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't say that I don't like it in general, but if I had to list the things that would be nice if it were improved; Customization in the User Interface can be improved, More applied training content may be required for new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can now plainly see how well our security infrastructure defends against actual threats thanks to Picus. We proactively find vulnerabilities and enhance the reaction capabilities of our security teams by simulating ongoing attacks. Not only can we now identify dangers, we can also gauge how well-prepared our systems are for them.

The user interface is simple and intuitive, making it easy to run even complex scenarios. In particular, the way it supports real attack simulations with up-to-date threat intelligence clearly reveals system vulnerabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although the product is very comprehensive, the reporting section can sometimes be overly detailed, making it difficult to get a quick summary. It also takes time for new users to master all the features. More interactive and visualized reporting options could further enhance the user experience.

Picus Security helps identify potential vulnerabilities before they can be exploited. By running regular attack simulations, it gives us a clear view of how well our defenses hold up against different threats. This allows us to prioritize security improvements and address gaps faster.
