Effortless to Use
What do you like best about the product?
Easy processing of Invoices, AP automation, Easy extraction of reports and ledger.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unavailability of Purchasing automation in South Africa
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accurate Reporting and efficient processing of invoices resulting in timely payment to suppliers.
Scalable and User-Friendly, but Complex Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I use Sage Intacct for bookkeeping, accounting, and financial analysis in our non-profit organization. I appreciate its detailed revenue and expense tracking capabilities with multiple dimensions for analyzing transactions. It's great that it syncs with third-party applications like Bill, Ramp, and Airbase to further streamline processes. I find the reporting robust, providing access to essential information in the right format. I also like that Sage Intacct offers a good mix of options for complexity with user-friendliness. It has been able to grow with our organization, supporting us from our start-up phase through periods of significant growth. Additionally, Sage Intacct fits well for organizations outgrowing QuickBooks or simpler accounting platforms by providing several dimensions out of the box, with user-defined dimensions available if needed. Lots of modular add-ons enhance reporting, budgeting, and other processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took a long time to understand the reporting piece and I still have trouble with the custom reports that have so many levers it can be confusing. I'd like to see the ability to have bank rec approvals similar to journal entry approvals. It's pretty complex so I would say one needs a good implementation specialist and also needs to have a good understanding of accounting systems and the typical workflows and processes. It takes lots of planning and thought to set it up most efficiently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct lets us track revenue and expenses in detail, syncs with apps like Bill and Ramp for streamlined processes, offers robust reporting, and supports growth from a startup to a larger organization.
Streamlined Non-Profit Accounting with Custom Dashboards
What do you like best about the product?
I love the bank feed in Sage Intacct, as it helps us stay up-to-date on our financials without waiting until the end of the month. Additionally, I appreciate the ability to create custom dashboards, which allows different users to access the financial data that’s relevant to them. We also had a great experience with our implementation specialist, making the setup process smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the biggest improvement I would love to see is the ability, when in an invoice, to see how it was coded the previous month. This works when adding a bill but not when uploading a bill. I have to go out and run a report and then come back to code the invoice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct helps us eliminate cumbersome spreadsheets, streamline user-friendly processes, keep financials updated with bank feeds, and use custom dashboards to show relevant data to staff.
Automation in Sage Intacct Has Greatly Boosted Our Accounting Efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
There are many factors that contribute to why I like Sage Intacct, but above all, the biggest benefit has been my company’s increased efficiency thanks to Sage’s automation. Sage automates key accounting processes such as accounts payable, invoicing, and reconciliations, which has reduced manual work and helped minimize errors.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Sage Intacct is a powerful tool, the interface can feel somewhat outdated and unintuitive compared with newer cloud platforms. Training the team and learning all the modules we needed also took more time than we expected, which made the overall ramp-up less efficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As our company continues to grow, Sage Intacct has been able to handle the added complexity that comes with it, including our expanding list of vendors, currencies, and locations. Without this software, I can’t imagine how many roadblocks I would have otherwise encountered.
Intuitive Accounting With Room for Enhancement
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Sage Intacct is easy to use and straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think in the AP or AR section, there could be a 'sum' of the invoices being showed. We had to hire a third party to help us with transferring historical data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sage Intacct for running reports and find it easy to use and straightforward, though I wish it showed a sum of invoices in the AP or AR section.
Easy to Use, Web-Based Access Anywhere with Customizable Views
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, web based so can log in anywhere. Easy to navigate and customisable views.

Nothing, everything works well and suitable for my use

Nice to see real time dashboards, spend less time reviewing
Interactive Real-Time Reporting and Smooth API Transaction Transfers in Sage Intacct
What do you like best about the product?
We are in Sage InTacct on a daily bases using the Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Reporting features. I love the interactive reporting that gives me real time results if I get my information in there. With the API tools we are easily able to get transactions transferred from our policy processing platform to InTacct. We worked with a 3rd party consultant to get the API tools even more refined to get the transactions in there exactly how we wanted them. With their Help & Support feature it makes finding answers on how to use the product a brease.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sage InTacct is a little large for all our uses. I adopted this system from my predecessor and I was not really trained in the full functionality of the tool. With our third party adoption I'm also not able to access the community forum to get information from the community, which can be a little frustrating at time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage is assisting us in compiling our data for our annual reporting.
Solid, flexible ERP that just works
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Sage Intacct is how easy it is to slot into a wider system solid integrations, reliable data flow, and it just works without causing headaches on the technical side.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found the training a bit tedious. It felt slightly repetitive, with not much variation throughout the core learning modules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The company I work for uses Intacct for almost all of our accounting and service needs. However, I’ll primarily be using it in a sales role for quotations. Using Intacct for this should make the process simpler, easier, and more efficient for me.

Timely Order Checkout That Keeps Us Moving
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to check out orders in a timely fashion.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can lag and be slow when you are tabbing through data entry.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to track down missing inventory is very helpful.
