User-Friendly Solver Integration, But Setup Can Be Challenging
What do you like best about the product?
Easy integration with Solver and it's user-friendly to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setup is quite challenging; one example is the Bank Reconciliation automation setup. But again, it would be just me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like the way how Sage has the flow for JE submission and review and approval flow which makes things easy to read, recall and reclassify.
Efficient Automation, But Support Access Needs Streamlining
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Sage Intacct has provided me with time savings and a simplified process. My team uses it to reconcile our books, and it makes it really easy to organize and report on our different divisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that there is a separate log in and separate portal for support tickets and help. It would be nice if it was natively in my Sage Intacct environment, or if my Sage Intacct credentials were the same as the credentials needed for support. The data migration and the learning curve took a few months and we are still trying to master it, but once it was set up and the automation was working, it got easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sage Intacct to automate invoicing and reconciliation, saving time and simplifying processes. It helps my team easily reconcile books and organize reports across divisions.
Powerful Financial Automation and Visibility, But a Learning Curve and Higher Cost
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Sage Intacct is how much it simplifies and automates financial management. The platform provides strong visibility into real-time financial data, which makes reporting, budgeting, and decision-making much faster and more accurate. One of the biggest upsides is the automation of repetitive accounting tasks like accounts payable, approvals, consolidations, and recurring entries, which saves time and reduces manual errors. The cloud-based system is also very user-friendly and accessible from anywhere, making collaboration easier across teams and locations. Another major benefit is its customizable dashboards and reporting capabilities. Users can quickly generate detailed financial reports without needing extensive manual work, and integrations with other business systems help streamline operations even further. Overall, it improves efficiency, scalability, and financial visibility for growing organizations.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of Sage Intacct is that the platform can have a learning curve, especially for new users or teams without strong accounting or ERP experience. Some advanced features and customizations can feel complex and may require additional training or support to fully utilize. Another challenge is that reporting and integrations, while powerful, sometimes require technical setup or administrator involvement. The system can also become expensive as companies add more modules, users, or custom functionality. In some cases, users may find the interface less intuitive compared to newer modern software platforms, and certain workflows can involve multiple steps. Overall, while the software is very capable, the biggest downsides are complexity, implementation time, and cost for smaller organizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct is solving a lot of the manual and time-consuming accounting challenges that come with managing financial operations. It helps automate processes like accounts payable, invoicing, approvals, consolidations, and reporting, which reduces manual work, minimizes errors, and saves significant time for the finance team. One of the biggest benefits is the real-time visibility into financial data. Instead of relying on spreadsheets or waiting until month-end, users can access dashboards and reports instantly, making it easier to track performance, cash flow, and budgets and make faster business decisions. Sage Intacct is also helping organizations scale more efficiently by centralizing financial data in one cloud-based system. Multi-entity management, integrations with other business tools, and automated workflows improve collaboration and make it easier to manage growing operations without adding as much manual overhead. Personally, the benefit is improved efficiency, more accurate reporting, faster financial close processes, and the ability to spend more time on analysis and strategic work instead of repetitive administrative tasks.
Live, Regularly Updated System with a Great UI and Strong Performance
What do you like best about the product?
Its a live system, that updates regularly, the user interface is very good and we do not see any drop of performance while using
What do you dislike about the product?
You are unable to adjust the remittance advice template that is sent out to suppliers, some of the report writers are difficult to understand

The Ability to be able to amend Journals in current time instead of reversing and re-posting, this is saving time
Efficient Accounting with Room for UI Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I use Sage Intacct primarily for managing core accounting functions such as general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and financial reporting. It's especially valuable for automating processes like invoice management, expense tracking, and consolidations across entities. I like its real-time reporting and ease of automations, as it makes it simple to access accurate financial data quickly, while reducing manual work and improving overall efficiency. I also really like its user-friendly interface and flexibility. It's easy to customize reports and workflows, and it integrates well with other systems, which makes managing financial processes much smoother. The integration with tools like expense management and CRM systems works well and helps streamline data flow, reduce manual entry, and keep everything more aligned across teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area that could be improved is the user interface, which can feel a bit dated and less intuitive for new users. Reporting customization, while powerful, can sometimes be complex to set up. Additionally, certain processes and integrations can require extra configuration or support to get working smoothly.

Comprehensive Financial Solution with Custom Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I like Sage Intacct as a great all-in-one system for our finance operations. I find the custom report writer really useful because it allows us to create the reports we need, and the dashboards are helpful for our finance team and cost center managers to look at their financials at a glance. The system is very reliable with limited to no downtime and no glitches, which is important for our workflow. I also appreciate how the reports help track deferred income and assist with our audits and charity tax filings, giving us the necessary information easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
The bank sync can be buggy sometimes, and some bank transactions don't sync. The bank seems to get deauthorized too regularly, and it takes a while to re-authenticate and resync it. One big thing I wish is that Sage Intacct worked the same way across all modules - Purchasing, AP, Expense, etc. Each module is kind of set up differently, and taxes and settings work differently across them. The initial setup was not easy because our instance is quite complex as a Canadian nonprofit that needs to track many dimensions for grant/project tracking.

Sage Intacct helps us keep track of grant spending, manage AP and AR, create EFT payment runs, and track budget to actuals.
Sage Intacct Excels at Multi-Entity Accounting
What do you like best about the product?
Sage Intaact does a really good job with multi-entity accounting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sage Intacct is less ideal for very small businesses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage has a powerful reporting system. Instead of relying on a messy chart of accounts, it lets me tag different transactions, which makes it easier to organize and report on them the way I need.
Easy to Use and Straightforward, with Helpful Sage University Resources
What do you like best about the product?
It’s easy to use and straightforward to understand. Sage University is also very helpful and makes it easier to learn and get the most out of the product.

This isn’t really about Sage itself, but the access rights can sometimes make things difficult for the processor.
