Powerful Automation, Improvable Connectivity
What do you like best about the product?
It seems to me that Sage Intacct has many tools and functionalities. We switched to Sage Intacct because it has too many functionalities. While some things may be lacking, it makes up for it with many other functionalities and add-ons that the application has. It helps us a lot in the accounting area when it comes to recording, modifying, and adjusting invoices, as well as in the automated calculation of taxes and the download of complete reports. Additionally, the connection with other applications, like Rippling, allows us to synchronize transactions with corporate credit cards. I also value the greater customization option that Sage Intacct offers to create specific and detailed reports, something we didn't have with our previous software, QuickBooks.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems to me that there should be more connectivity with other third parties, for example, with banks, in order to have updated information every day to reconcile accounts more easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage Intacct automates accounting tasks, reduces manual entry, facilitates report generation, and speeds up invoice creation for clients.

Sage Intacct is solving problems around manual accounting processes, fragmented data, and limited visibility. By automating workflows and consolidating financial information in real time, it reduces errors, saves time, and provides clearer insights for better decision-making.
User-Friendly with Easy Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I use Sage Intacct for banking and payroll, and I like that it's very user-friendly. The accounts and AP are very simple to use. I also appreciate how it integrates with the bank platform, making the integration very easy for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how the manual check entry is more difficult than it should be with coding.

Robust Multi-Entity Reporting, But Needs UI Enhancements
What do you like best about the product?
I like Sage Intacct's dimensional reporting and multi-entity capabilities. They make it much easier to get clean, flexible reporting without over-engineering the chart of accounts and scale well as the business grows. The dimensional reporting gives us flexible analysis without complicating the chart of accounts, and the multi-entity features simplify consolidations and reduce manual effort at month-end. The core accounting, multi-entity reporting, and consolidations improve our financial visibility and reduce reliance on spreadsheets. I also appreciate its strong functionality for multi-entity accounting and reporting, especially for growing organizations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some workflows and automations aren't as intuitive as they could be, and the UI feels a bit dated in places. Workflow setup could be simpler and more transparent, and the UI would benefit from fewer clicks for common tasks and more consistency across modules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sage Intacct to reduce reliance on spreadsheets, improve multi-entity visibility, speed up month-end close, and provide more reliable management reporting.
Customizable, Intuitive Reporting—But Integration Gaps with e3
What do you like best about the product?
AP/AR/GL reports all in the same place. I love how SAGE is customizable to create different fields to capture specific company data. Also, Sage is such an easy interface to use - quick and intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Intacct does not talk to our other system (e3) and can be frustrating trying to match numbers between Sage and e3. Also, the OTPS items don't show the vendor description on the main page of the GL reports - we need this changed asap.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sage is solving our company using paper backup (for AP items0. Having electronic copies of everything is saving us time and resources.
Cloud-Based Access Anywhere with Great Dashboards
What do you like best about the product?
First of all I love that it is cloud based and I can log in anywhere. The dashboards are great. On the receivable end I love the fact I can see what ?I am posting and if there is a discrepancy before I post
What do you dislike about the product?
. Some of the cons is the help section, sometimes it does not go into enough detail of what I am looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps with our AR to GL reports and simplifies it.
Reliable and practical all-round accounting
What do you like best about the product?
Sage intacct is a reliable and effective tool for all our low-level accounting. I love the ability to build custom reports to serve our exact needs and I really appreciate all the time the compliance tool has saved me when doing the VAT returns. I also like the ease of processing journals (and particularly the ability to bulk import journals from simple CSV files). In general the format of information given is very functional and detailed but I prefer this to other solutions that do more formatting and summarising for you as this allows me to manipulate the information to my liking and choose my own format for presentation, specifically suitable for my audience.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not the most user friendly and has taken a bit of time to get familiar with (and I've appreciated the support we've had from our support provider when trying to change the less typical bits of configuration)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sage Intacct for tax, low-level accounting, sales invoicing, and cash receipting, which helps with everything up to budgeting.
User-Friendly Layout Makes Data Easy to Navigate
What do you like best about the product?
Its layout is very user friendly and any data can be navigated very easily even with little or no knowledge about the software

sometimes the ledger loading time is quite a lot when downloading the ledger for a year or more

Complex UI Hampers Usability
What do you like best about the product?
I use Sage Intacct for accounting and project finances. It allows us to track our project finances. I like that it works most of the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is extremely difficult and not intuitive at all. Everything is geared towards accounting and relies heavily on accounting jargon, so someone who is not in accounting has to do a lot of leg work to figure out what everything means. Reports are a nightmare, and it looks old, not cute. The initial setup was quite difficult, taking months and months of setup calls, design, and revisions to get it to work the way we want. I hate that you can't copy-paste Excel cells into the native UI, it's very frustrating to have to upload everything.

Sage Intacct allows us to track our project finances.
User-Friendly with Robust Support
What do you like best about the product?
I find Sage Intacct to be very user-friendly. I've been using it for over ten years, and it's just very easy to use. We also have a representative that works with us, so whenever we need changes, we can contact them directly.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are a nonprofit organization, and the cost increases every year. It's hard to budget and we may or may not have the same funding we had in the previous year. So when we get these increases, it does make us think that we need to start looking for other financial reporting services.

Sage Intacct helps with budgeting, reporting, AP, AR, Grants Management , Positive Pay and corporate allocation.
